Ushicon Go! Con report.

Time: 5:20 PM Song: Call on Me By: Eric Prydz Mood: Sad/Happy. Friday the 27th: After enduring a long day of school and waiting for the end of the day with much excitement, Lemony Slash and I headed out of the cafeteria and went outside with all of our friends and laughed and joked around so much. The excitement was surely getting to all of us and we couldn't help but laugh and anything and everything. It was so crazy that we were pointing and screaming at random people we didn't even know. o.O Getting onto my stupid clunker school bus, we began our trip home. My dad called and said to call Sethos and see if she was home. I called Sethos and she was on her bus home... hung up with her, called dad, told him, hung up with dad, dad called again, called Sethos and told her my mom was going to pick her up. Woo for phone tag! We got to my home and I must've ran over my con check list at least ten more times before deciding to lie on my bed for a while. My dad still hadn't packed yet and it was getting pretty late. Fearing for our badges, I called Tinted (He was working security, I think.) and addressed the problem to him. He said that he'd try to get a hold of the badges for us in case we wouldn't get there on time. I live in San Antonio, Texas and Ushicon was being held in Austin. It was about 6:00 PM and dad STILL wasn't ready to leave yet and he claimed that we'd make it far before 8:00 PM. I guess he didn't consider all the frickin' traffic and stopping for dinner. Seth: Your father does seem to be a little off at times... We eventually packed into the truck after my cell phone receieved like a billion calls from friends asking if I was there yet. We started on the road and we too excited to sleep, so the music turned on and we all jammed on the road toward Austin. Obviously, personal space wasn't much of an issue in my dad's truck seeing as how we were all packed shoulder to shoulder in the truck that whole time. We stopped at fat central McDonald's and got some food. I wasn't very hungry, but managed to get some food down anyway. We discovered a trash can in the girl's bathroom that looked like R2D2 and began to laugh after I said, "Look! I found R2D2!" We all packed into the truck and began on our way again. By the time we'd gotten into Austin, it was about 8:15 PM, but Tinted was holding onto our badges for us. (Thanks Tinted-kun!) We arrived at the hotel and the first person we met up with was our dear Rokakku (AKA: Rok) and he helped us unpack somewhat. Zappa came and greeted us as well and all seemed well for us as we waited to get into our room. Seth: I must admit that even that was annoying.. Yes, it was. Shuffling all the luggage up to the 9th floor, we got into our room, claimed which corner was whose, and got dressed for the Greg Ayres dance. After we were ready, we went downstairs and met up with so many people that if I attempted to name them, I'm sure I'd forget at least ten of the people who greeted us. xD We walked around aimlessly, got glomped and tackled to the ground by friends, and walked downstairs to find the Raving Ninja Clan to warm up with. I looked around for Wildfire and finally spotted him. I tacklehugged him and much cuddly stuff happened. (In case you're wondering, no nothing can happen between me and him that's serious so don't take anything we did in the wrong fashion.) Alas, we stood in line for the Greg Ayres dance and were let in to dance the night away and have tons o' fun. I kinda switched personalities on and off throughout the night from spastically hyper to more of a calm, shy person. I think it's just because I didn't feel good from time to time. *Cough.* Bishojo Tenshi, Lemony Slash, and Sethos know what I'm talking aboot. We stayed from the beginning of the dance to the end and I got to grind with DJ Toboe and my friend Walter, have a blast, and meet new people. Greg ended up playing a song that was very fast and we jammed and raved to it as best we could with the song going like way more then a 1,000 beats. Lemony Slash, Sethos, and I said g'night to Bishojo Tenshi before going up to our room at about 3:00 AM. We all took showers, turned on the radio, and attempted to fall asleep after laughing at nothing for fifteen minutes. Saturday the 28th: Our wake-up call woke us up at 9:00 AM and we dragged our bodies into the shower and got dressed in costume. In case you didn't read about Oni-con, here's a basic summary of our costumes: While drawing one day, I got this idea about Alice in Wonderland. They have so many versions of Alice except for a rave (As in, neon colors and stuff) Alice in Wonderland. I told Bishojo Tenshi and Sethos about it and we began to make the costumes. Thus, Alice in Rave Realm was born with me being the Mad Raving Hatter, Bishojo Tenshi being Alice, and Sethos being our Cheshire cat. Soon enough, more friends wanted to join and we had our Sleeping Doorknob (Lemony Slash) and many card soldiers and what not. After dressing into our costumes (Don't worry, I'll find pictures to post later on), we made our way downstairs. We wandered aimlessly, got pictures taken of us, and I found a Lil Slugger (Paranoia Agent) to chase down and cuddle. Soon enough, I saw a Tohma Seguchi (Gravitation) with a Kumagorou plush and quickly asked where she got it. After finding out where to get it, I dashed into the dealer's room and spent lots of monies. Seth: *Yawns and stretches.* I'm so tired... I need a nap. G'night Kawaii. G'night Seth. *Tosses a heart-shaped cewkie at.* We took our stuff upstairs and continued to randomly wander around the hotel. Sethos wanted a group shot so badly that she had to gather us in one spot and lead us downstairs and outside for photoshoots. Many pictures were taken before we ran inside and took yet more group photos. I got to kiss Bishojo Tenshi (YURI! Woo!) And I even kissed my friend Mikako and a few other people who wanted it. *Slaps sign that says, "Attention whore" on her back.* I'm not one to visit panels often, so I just continued to wander about. We eventually got hungry and went to get some food. The Lil Slugger from earlier came and sat with us to eat and we all enjoyed our food very much. My friend Krispy came and we hugged her and she joined us too! I think we exceeded the seating capacity at one table, but no one complained to us so we all just ate happily while Krispy showed off her new yaoi. Saw Greg Ayres outside and went to have a casual conversation with him and got a few laughs from SDBigboss. Bishojo Tenshi was carrying around a little bottle filled with Lemon chewy things and the bottle said, "Eat Me." Well, whenever she would offer them to someone, she would say: "Would you like to eat me?" and we would laugh and what not. SD joked around about Bishojo Tenshi getting on stage, saying: "Would you like to eat me??" And then some fat guy would be like: HURGH?! XD Tala ended up buying us yaoi and we went up into the room to drool over it and read through the naughty-ness of it all. I heart you Tala. Eventually, lining up for cosplay came and we stood in line, got in order of number. We walked on stage and performed our small "skit" with Bishojo Tenshi's older brother "controlling" us with a playstation controller and people got a kick out of it. After getting off stage, we went upstairs, washed off the make up, and got on some clothes for the masq. being hosted by Keichii radio. *Confetti.* We found Toboe, who was looking for Greg Ayres and somehow Walter, Toboe, Lemony Slah, Sethos and I all went walking under this bridge nearby while making sexual noises and goin crazy outside. We found this lawn area and all laid in it and leaned on each other. Our hyper antics attracted this Kiba (Naruto) cosplayer and she was all for joining to growing pile of cuddling bodies. Alas, the con tradition started: The cuddle orgy! Tons of people came and joined us and we all laughed and joked around before moving the pile inside. More and more people came to join the orgy and many pictures were taken of us all in the pile as well. Security ended up chasing us out, so we gathered outside again and more and more people followed. We even got a Tohma and a Ryuichi to join us! We all broke up the pile and migrated to the masq. where we danced for about an hour. This girl named Samantha really liked me, so we danced together at the masq. and I kissed Mikako for her 18th birthday. I danced with a few of Shiro's friends named Jasmine and Ashley for a bit too... I think they really like me! Then came the whole charade with trying to find Cycon, who had our room key. x.x I went up the ninth floor looking for him when he'd been down on the first floor looking for me. *Laughs.* That was just way too funny for my tastes and I ended up cracking up when Sethos told me and Shiro about it. I attempted to get back into dancing, but it just wasn't fun for me so I left. I felt really bad later on because I forgot to tell Samantha where I was going and didn't see her for the rest of the night. *Sigh.* Lemony Slash and I needed some sugar in our system so we went upstairs to our room, cleaned up a bit, and ate some things to keep us running. I drank a Mountain Dew, which wasn't really smarty considering the fact that I haven't been drinking high sugary products a lot at all. I was so hyped to the point of shaking and my stomach was hurting later on too. Kevin found us in the lobby area and sat on my lap and John found us too. Lemony Slash vacated the area to the room and I decided it was time to call it a night so I went downstairs to say g'night to Wildfire. I ended up carrying on a conversation with Yugi and Wildfire that I really can't remember to this point at all... that's how tired I was. x.x; Yes, I was talking to Yugi at Ushicon. I miss the friendship we used to have and decided to aid her in her good mood and be nice to her at Ushicon... which seemed to help a lot, na no da! I ended up falling asleep downstairs for a bit before waking up and walking upstairs to say g'night to Kevin and grab Sethos. Saw some friends of mine in the elevator on the way up and got to the room where Lemony Slash opened the door for us. I skipped the shower for the morning, called for a wake up call at 9:30 AM and ended up crawling in bed at about 4:00 AM. Sunday the 28th: We woke up, took showers, and got dressed into some normal clothes since Sundays aren't real popular for cosplay and we had to head out by at least noon. I ended up talking to a lot of my con friends, hugged people, and got lots of sn's and gave out my number and sn's too. We spent some time laughing at these girls who decorated boxes to look like rocks and they were the amazing "fighting rocks". It was pretty funny to watch them go at it like they were. Sadly, it was time to go and Lemony Slash, Sethos and I headed back home where they went home and I unpacked... which is why I'm here. So, that was my con report. Not as detailed as most, but it gets the memories and the point across well enough then most. ^^ I'm le tired... so I'm off. Kawaii Seth<3
