I won't let this girl die beside of me;
7:57 AMC
"Vermilion Pt. 2 (Bloodstone Mix)" - Slipknot
I literally got goosebumps watching this. My hands started shaking. They're shaking now actually because I just got through watching it yet again. Just watch it. Trust me. If you would just read the series you'd understand its occult following. You'd understand what this book adaptation movie means to us. Trust me. I don't think you'd have to read the series to love this movie. It's going to be FUCKING INCREDIBLE!
God was showing off when he made Robert Pattinson.
Twilight Trailer
I will type a real update tomorrow or later this week. BTW, new music in the player. Sam the Sham & the Pharoahs and Slipknot. I love Li'l Red Riding Hood! Ha ha!
With love, Gabby

"Where the Wild Things Are" by Anarbor
Not much to report. I went to a friend's art show last week. Checked out some of her awesome paintings and some crap from other excellent talented artists. Almost makes me wish I didn't give up on the MyArts program a few years ago but art's not really my thing. I love photography, yes, but not really painting and all that other rubbish they create. I'm a bigger fan of spray paint than I am of brush paint. My brother is the only one experimenting with all that stuff. It's fun to watch him work but he doesn't much appreciate it. Anyways, THE ART SHOW! Awesome! Dj, food, drinks, paintings, people, fun, fun. I've never gone to her art shows but I plan on making it a regular thing now. The whole shindig is called First Fridays. Most of the downtown area in my city is closed down with crowds, live music, art, and food. It's all happening down there. I loved it. Esp, the live music part. There was like three home grown bands performing all on one street while tons of kids moved back and forth between them. It was insane. They do this only on the first friday of every month hence the title, First Fridays. If you ever come to Kansas City, it's a must see.
Besides that, my brothers look grim and it gives me a bad feeling. They depress and annoy me by making those long faces. They get hush, hush whenever someone walks in on their conversation. I hate it. They treat me like the enemy. Unfortunately for them, I'm not that stupid. I've a pretty good idea of what's happening but even knowing doesn't make me feel good. It's still grim.
Um. That all off my chest, I'm off. Take care loves and check out Anarbor! They are the shit!

You choked off the surest of favors;
2:11 AMC
"Welcome Home" by Coheed and Cambria
I really don't have much to tell, I just felt like posting. No one on my friends list updates anymore. Except for Talim, who I am eternally grateful for because then I really wouldn't have a reason to keep checking in. BTW, if you notice the sidebar to your left, I have been here for four years now. Yay, right? Eh, not really. Given the turn myOtaku has taken I'm not too excited about it anymore. I miss how alive this place use to be. I would never even know myspace existed had this place been kept up. [sighs profoundly]
Um, the hotel position of the previous post was pretty much stepped on and shattered. My brother's girl, Marina, told me that she had been trying to get a job there all year. Apparently the Marriot is always claiming a dire need for employees and ironically enough, they never hire anyone. Yeah. Luckily for me, several other jobs are turning up left and right. Aldi Foods, Family Dollar (still), a shopping center is hiring for all positions. Hopefully, if I just keep beating the pavement, all will work out for the better, no pun intended. My best friend is doing the same and having trouble. Everything is getting scarce. My Mum's the only one working and with the rising prices on basically everything we're having to cut back on small luxuries like candy at the pharmacy, outings at the restaraunt, the Brilliant Brunnette Shine Shock I put in my hair (which is like 3 or 4 dollars, I think). It's horrible. Lol. I personally think we should go to Mexico and live like lords and ladies but no one listens to me. Ten thousand down there is enough for a living depending on how you plan to spend it. I think I could make it with ten thousand and a car in Mexico but that's just me.
Anyways, I hope the economy crisis is solved quickly. I don't like this one bit. On that note of optimism, I leave you all.
Will check in later if something interesting happens.

"System" from the Queen of the Damned Soundtrack
Hello Lovelies! How I missed you! I'm in a terribly good mood at the moment. I received word that a Marriot Hotel nearby was in dire need of employees and my brother's girlfriend took it upon herself to bring me an application and put the good word in for me and her. Hopefully, if all goes well, in a few days time I will be signing in with the news of finally receiving employment. Yay! I'm excited just thinking about it! I already know how I'm going to spend my money! I tell my Mum all about it and she tends to laugh at me for it. She says this Spanish proverb or something about eating the cow before I even catch it. I don't know. I'm excited though! I hope it goes well!
I'll be able to buy new clothes and books! YAY!
Anyways, other news: My Mum thinks they might be closing down her place of employment because they've been moving a ton of things out of the building and there's rumors circulating around the water cooler, you dig? She doesn't know if they're true but she's starting to get in some ways happy about it. She's hoping to be fired to make the transition to another state considerably easier. You see, if she quits her job she won't be elegible for unemployment thus making it objective that she find another job and quick. On the other hand, if she's fired she gets unemployment as well as a bit of extra cash from the company as, I guess, a form of payment for the years she's worked there. This extra cash is usually aimed towards buying new homes in the company so it would be a lot easier for her to move as she plans to. It's a bit complicated to explain but that's basically the gist.
Um, besides all that rubbish, nothing else is new. I'm nearly done with one, well half of one of my new year's resolutions which was to finish the Harry Potter Series. I'm near the end of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince and will continue with the final installment later this week. Hopefully, if this job goes as planned, I'll be able to buy the entire Harry Potter book series from the store. I'm practically giddy with the idea of it.
Well, love, don't want to waste anymore of your time for you might have more important things to do, so take care and I'll be visiting soon.
Gabby

Hey eyes, she's on the dark side;
3:18 AMC
"Mysterons" by Portishead
My brain is not properly functioning at this hour so if you find several typos you'll know why; I woke up yesterday (saturday) morning at around 6:30 AM. I haven't slept since. I'm doing laundry because I haven't felt like it in the past few weeks. I've been wearing my jammies all day. Um, nothing huge to report. It's been raining out here and two or three days ago there was this magnificent fog that shrouded the entire city. It wasn't cold or anything but the fog was so thick that when you exhaled, your breath came out in warm clouds of gray. Incredibly beautiful. I couldn't see past my next door neighbor's front gate. I wish I had my camera that day but my brother's girlfriend took it. My brother brought it home earlier tonight but forgot to take it out of his girlfriend's purse. Talk about a shitty situation.
Besides that, nothing outstanding has been going on. I got through Harry Potter and the Order of Phoenix and cried like a sissy when I got to the part of Sirius Black dying. Oh my! How horrible. I loved that man. Of all the people I had expected to outlive everyone with Harry, Ron, and Hermione, it was Sirius. He was my favourite even when he was portrayed as a murderous dog in the Prisoner of Azkaban. He and Lupin were undoubtedly my favourites in the novel. So, of course, I cried like a baby when I read about his dying. I couldn't help it. I loved him so. Lol. I sound silly.
ANYWAYS, with all that said, take care kiddos. I will try and visit if my brother's friends don't come over and steal the internet away. I've been meaning to update for some time but haven't been able to because of said persons hogging the laptop. Eehn. Well, see you all. Oh! Max Payne the Movie: A MUST SEE! I am going to love Mila Kunis as Mona Sax! (Google it!)
Love always,
Gabby
