Hello Lovers.
Nothing much to update on. My work schedule's starting to get weird and hectic, a trait that the Center is known for. Um. Next week I work my first Saturday, something I was not ready for. I love my Saturdays so this will be interesting. Also, new music. Eyes on Fire by Blue Foundation. Hope you all like. I got paid yesterday so I took myself shopping. Bought some new outfits and (oh my God!) books. BOOKS!! I fucking love buying new books!

It's exciting.

My latest exploits: The Southern Vampires Series by Charlaine Harris with the True Blood Season One && Two covers. [click the thumbnail to see it bigger. It's a camera phone upload.]
I haven't read them yet because I'm still reading Frankenstein but as soon as I'm done with that one, it's on to these two. I also bought the first book of the House of Night Series by P. C. & Kristin Cast. Awesome.

Hello Lovers.
Today went a lot smoother than this entire week. My Mum doesn't work Friday so I can just come home, eat, shower, and relax. Awesome. We had a meeting at work about "miscellaneous" subjects. It was mostly about our overall dialect and professionalism towards customers. The doctors freak when we complain about them. We, as in the other receptionists and myself, tend to vent to each other during down time at work. The meeting felt like high school lectures all over again. I zoned out in the middle of it. Besides that though, the day went by pretty quickly and with much less anxiety. As for the big complainer I mentioned in my last post, I was on break when she showed up to drop off her dog so I never had to meet her. That pretty much made my day.

What else.

It was INCREDIBLY hot today. We opened the fire hydrant and enjoyed ourselves. I love summer. Afterwards we heard the news about Michael Jackson and nearly crapped ourselves. None of us here could believe that he was actually dead. I mean, I don't know. A person as famous and well known as him, after a while, you sort of forget they're still human. When my brother gave me the news I went to MSN, then to Yahoo, then to Google and Playlist and Myspace, I went everywhere to make sure because they're horrible people. I remember after Obama was elected President, I had spent the entire night celebrating and was out till nearly two in the afternoon the next day. They woke me up and told me he'd been assassinated. Those assholes. Lol. That's why I can't believe them anymore when they tell me those things. Bleh. Billie Jean's awesome.

post script. Jamo, I frackin' love getting new nicknames. Gabbs is one that Destinyssweetman gave me. I had a friend in grade school that called me Gibby too, so it's totally cool. Gibby, Gibbster, Girl, it's all good with me.
