finally
DA started working again, so here is the larger version of the pic i submitted last night. i repeat that this was a specific request from yamis friend. the poses were my addition, but everything else was specified. (geez, no one ever gives me this kind of detail on requests) but the description explains a great deal. so please read that if you have questions; i included about all i know of the characters and the art itself in there.

going to apply for jobs yet again tomorrow. nothing is working out for me. its annoying, im running out of places. enh, more on that as it developes.

request art up
finished the request for yamis friend of two characters. twas interesting to draw, as the designs were very specific and very detailed. including desired background. most people ask me for stuff and say "hair color, eye color, clothes, any unusual features/weapons. have fun with everything else." and now with this one we are shown exactly why inu never draws anything relating to cities. its uuuuugly. inu got to yet again play with new and fun weapons. the guy uses a gunblade, of which i have seen once. and i still cant draw hands. its sad. for some reason, images arent showing up on DA, so im just going to wait and submit it on there once everything is back up and running. ill say something again when that goes through. in the meantime, kindly go look at the tiny pathetic image im allowed to post here and give me comments on what you can actually see.

and yami, if you and your friend can wait a bit until DA goes up again, ill email you the link to the much better version. i would just email you the file, but its a bit large and that would take awhile. soooo ill just wait to upload it on DA.

new stuff
as i said a couple days ago, i was drawing inu as she would look in the real world. i finished that, with slightly questionable results. by that, i mean it didnt work out quite as planned. granted, it still looks pretty good. my realism can still obviously use work. here it is if youd care to get an idea what inu really looks like. discounting the inhuman features and the long hair, that is reasonably close to what i look like (i think, a second opinion will be sought on that count) depending on whether liana likes this or not, there may be one of her in the offing. i wont do that without her permission, aside from the fact that to do so i have to make her sit still long enough for me to draw her.

finally got the descriptions for yamis friends character requests, and im planning to do those tonight.

stuff, artistic and otherwise
first off, a repeat from last night, i put three older images up on DA. seeing as they arent anime in any way, i didnt want to upload them twice, and i wanted them to be larger, i didnt put them here. as i know a lot of people on here are too lazy to go to the previous post to find links, ill make it nice and easy for you and repost the links here:

behold my ability with media other then pencils. these were high school art projects that i happe to still like. also on the artistic front, im trying something new and interesting. i thought it would be interesting to see what inu would look like in the real world, so i basically drew a self portrait and added her features. if this turns out well, liana has promised to hold still long enough for me to do the same of her. *shrug* the random ideas that hit during boredom.

ok, i got some older, larger images up. finally. much more trouble than i was expecting. my computer is incompetant, which doesnt help. anyway, as these are not anime in any sense, and i didnt want to upload them twice, i just put them on DA, but im including the links here so you can marvel at my ability with media other than colored pencils *insert gasp of shock here*

whooo....
busy day yesterday. lets see...i put away all my college stuff, did some laundry, emptied and refilled the dishwasher, put away laundry, cleaned out my bathroom closet and cabinet, reorganized my art into a different folder, and drew a bit. needless to say, i was seriously looking for something to do. basically, there was too much crap, so i got rid of it. and i had some college stuff that needed to go in the full dishwasher, thus the emptying of that.

geez, this deal with the coins just keeps getting better. my grandma gave me $100 worth of old quarters. she and mom went to a coin dealer today to check the worth of some others and took those with them. those turned out to be worth not $100, but $300. its insane. awesome, but insane.

posted an old pic yesterday and shall try to post a new one today. check back later, as ill post again when i do that.

old art
came across a very old notebook with some sketches in it. only one was worth showing here, so i submitted it. its a year old, drew it on the plane to NYC last may. please please copy and paste the given link and go look at the bigger image. theres a lot of detail that you just cant see on the tiny image they allow me to post on here. also, its on lined paper, so please ignore that. i dont have photoshop, so i cant get rid of them at the moment. thats about all i have to say. im searching for the camera so i can get photos of some of my larger works to post, but the camera has mysteriously vanished.
