   lol
What a surprising loss for Germany. Italy won 2-0. They go to the finals. Good thing I didn't bet the $5.00 .

Now I think France is going to beat Portugal.

   yea
Brazil lost. So now I'm not cheering for anyone. Booo!

But I'm still watching the games. Five dollars say that Germany is going to win the world cup, just like France did in '98. May the best team win.

Next game is Tuesday, July 4th.

I'm not planning anything special for the 4th of July. But then again, everyday is a surprise =D

   lol
Well I haven't updated this thing lately, so here I am.

What have I been to? Well I've been watching all of the FIFA games =D

Yesterday I watched the Germany vs. Argentina game. It was very intense. They were tied 1-1 during the entire game, then went to 30 mins overtime, and since neither team could break the tie, they went to penalty kicks or whatever they call it in English (I'm more familiar with the Spanish soccer terms). Germany won with 4 penalties and Argentina, having failed to score on its fourth try, lost. The Germans were celebrating their victory, but then a small confrontation broke out from the Argentinian team against the German team. I don't know why. There was a lot of confusion. In this game I was cheering for Germany =D

Brazil and France are playing today. I'm cheering for Brazil now. They're my favorite team so far.

   Some more soccer!!!!
Ok, here's some new soccer happenings. The last several days have been very interesting in the soccer world:

The Netherlands vs Portugal sporadic brawls during the game.

The surprising Italian victory over Australia.

The Netherlands vs. Portugal game was very intense. Both teams gave it their all. Portugal scored and won over Holland. Some notable happenings would be the frequent confrontations between the two teams during the second half and the flying around of yellow and red cards.

   *grr*
Mexico vs. Argentina

Mexico would've gone to the quarter finals if BORGETTI hadn't touched the ball. Argentina wasn't even close to scoring, but Borgetti messed it up.

They went to overtime. Argentina won 2-1.

Excellent game though. *applauds*

Here it is:

Borgetti!! What did you do????

   scary stuff
I live across my old elementary school. Around noon (on Wednesday) there were a lot of police cars surrounding the school. Parents began to show up earlier than ever, which caught my mom and some fellow neighbors' attention. What was going on? we wondered.

We wanted to get the 'chisme' (Spanish for gossip or news, in this case I mean 'news') about what was going on.

The street was full of cars. So much traffic in the small residential street that cars were beginning to block drive ways. We didn't mind, we were just wondering what was happening inside the school. There were about three police cars and two narcotics cars (those are just plain white cars). We thought that maybe some kid was found with drugs. But then what was the panic with the parents?

My mom knew some people whose kids still went to that school so she asked them what was going on. They told her that there were some thugs around inside school property with guns. The school called the cops and held the kids inside the classrooms for safety. When the cops came, they managed to catch one of the suspects and it was he who confessed that he and two others were planning to shoot the school.

I don't know if they caught all of the thugs. The kids got out of the school safely.

Good thing nothing bad happened to the innocent kids =D

Oh yeah....BRAZIL PLAYS TODAY!!

   Hello!!
Let's recap on the lastest FIFA happenings ^_^

Argentina vs. Serbia and Montenegro= WOW!! O.O
SpEcTaCuLaR!! Argentina got away with a 6-0 victory against Serbia and Montenegro.

The Netherlands vs. Cote D' Ivore (the Ivory Coast)= The Naranja Mecanica (<--Spanish for 'the Orange Machine' coz their uniforms were orange and are well known great players) won over the Ivory Coast 2-1.

The long awaited game between Mexico and Angola= It was a real shocker. Both teams played very well and I must applaud their goalees for doing such a great job. Both gave it their all, blocking intended goals. The game ended in a 0-0 tie ^_^

Friday was also the graduation day at my old high school. I couldn't go, however, because I was busy running around with errands that I had to do. Eeee! The day was also a nice warm one. I guess it was a little too hot for me ^^'

Father's Day is coming around. I already bought my dad a little gift and we're planning of going somewhere for dinner ^.^

My friend Anna is moving to somewhere FAR AWAY next month!! I'm so sad. Some of my other friends are planning something big before she leaves ^.^ . I'm going to miss her a lot T_T

ANIME EXPO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's in July and last year's posse is going to go again and they're inviting me. I hate it when I'm broke during Anime Expo season. Maybe I'll rob a casino or something, j/p =P

I hate it when people tailgate me when I'm driving. Is it just me, or does everyone seem to love driving around at 60 mph in 30 mph zones??? I was going through this 30 mph residential street and this car behind me kept accelerating and wobbling side to side. I figured he wanted to pass me to go faster, but if he did that, he would have to cross over to the oncoming lane. So he had to slow down to my 35 mph speed (yeah, I was speeding by 5 miles/hr ^^')

I like to save gas when I'm driving my car. I don't like to accelerate too much. Gas prices here are out of hand. $3.77 per gallon for the unleaded one.

Anyway, that's all for now!

Later!
