Well, peeps, here I am, up waaaay too late.

God be with you till we meet again. If we obey, the Lord will bless us. It's a system--we obey a law and gain the blessings from it. Love and hugs. Ciao!

Two notes: I got a book yesterday! XD

And please visit our appreciation site of the day, Alex. Love and hugs, all, and pocket hugs. God and Jesus Christ bless you all. May you feel Their Holy Spirit and love. Take care.

   An additional note of love. ^_^
1 COrinthians 15:22
For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.

temporal death and resurrection and spiritual falling, where every one is concerned, and redemption for all who will believe in and accept the Lord Jesus the Christ

John 3:13-17
And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.
And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:
That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

And They will help us to ascend to heaven.

God has provided a way for us, who cannot save ourselves. Only with Their help and guidance. God our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ His Son and our elder Brother love us all, and send Their Holy Spirit to guide us. Trust and obey them. Have faith. And help each other. In our Lord Jesus Christ's holy name. Amen.

Fact of the day:
Aloe vera is a good plant for burns, and it is used in medicines for sunburn.

John 17:1-3
THESE words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee:
As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him.
And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.
I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.
And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.
I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them me; and they have kept thy word.

Now they have known that all things whatsoever thou hast given me are of thee.
For I have given unto them the words which thou gavest me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came out from thee, and they have believed that thou didst send me.
I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine.
And all mine are thine, and thine are mine; and I am glorified in them.

We can all be Their's, and we are all God's children, literally, in spirit. Jesus Christ is our Elder Brother and loves us all and brings us all resurrection, and salvation--if we'll do our part. They want us to. In our Lord Jesus Christ's holy name, love and amen.

   Hello this fine morning.
2 Nephi 31: 17
Wherefore, do the things which I have told you I have seen that your Lord and your Redeemer should do; for, for this cause have they been shown unto me, that ye might know the gate by which ye should enter. For the gate by which ye should enter is repentance and baptism by water; and then cometh a remission of your sins by fire and by the Holy Ghost.
[...]
2 Nephi 31: 18-21
And now, my beloved brethren, after ye have gotten into this strait and narrow path, I would ask if all is done? Behold, I say unto you, Nay; for ye have not come thus far save it were by the word of Christ with unshaken faith in him, relying wholly upon the merits of him who is mighty to save.
Wherefore, ye must press forward with a steadfastness in Christ, having a perfect brightness of hope, and a love of God and of all men. Wherefore, if ye shall press forward, feasting upon the word of Christ, and endure to the end, behold, thus saith the Father: Ye shall have eternal life.
And now, behold, my beloved brethren, this is the way; and there is none other way nor name given under heaven whereby man can be saved in the kingdom of God.
And now, behold, this is the doctrine of Christ, and the only and true doctrine of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, which is one God, without end. Amen.

It is true. And They love us and show us the way. In our Lord Jesus Christ's holy name, amen.

Abraham first received the gospel by baptism (which is the covenant of salvation); then he had conferred upon him the higher priesthood, and he entered into celestial marriage (which is the covenant of exaltation), gaining assurance thereby that he would ahve eternal increase; finally he received a promise that all of these blessings would be offered to all of his mortal posterity. (Abraham 2:6-11; Doctrine & Covenants 132:29-50.) Included in the divine promises to Abraham was the assurance that Christ would come through his lineage, and the assurance that Abraham's posterity would receive certain choice, promised lands as an eternal inheritance. (Abraham 2; Genesis 17; 22:15-18; Galatians 3.)
All of these promises lumped together are called the Abrahamic covenant. This covenant was renewed with Isaac (Genesis 24:60; 26:1-4, 24) and again with Jacob. (Genesis 28; 35:9-13; 48:3-4.) Those portions of it which pertain to personal exaltation and eternal increase are renewed with each member of the house of Israel who enters the order of celestial marriage; through that order the participating parties become inheritors of all the blessings of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. (Doctrine & Covenants 132; Romans 9:4, Galatians 3; 4.)

Hugs and love and pocket hugs to you all!

   ^_^
Before leaving the Savior’s visit to the Nephites, we may learn another important lesson by examining the next event. The lesson concerns the way in which the Lord works with us and His desire and ability to help each person. In the 14th verse of 3 Nephi 11, Jesus invited the multitude to arise and approach Him one by one, to thrust their hands into His side and feel the print of the nails in His hands and feet. Remember, there were 2,500 people. How long would it take for each person to approach the Savior, feel the print of the nails, touch His side, and perhaps receive a brief embrace? Suppose it took 15 seconds per person. The time required would exceed 10 hours for the multitude to fulfill the invitation.
Why did Jesus do it one by one? Would it not have been just as effective for Him to show the multitude all at once? The answer is no! Salvation is an individual process. Ordinances are conducted one by one. Every individual’s faith counts.
Can you imagine the extraordinary feelings you would have felt had you been there that day? Suppose you were invited to approach the Savior, feel the wounds in His hands and feet, touch His side, and hear Him quietly say how much He loves you. That would be a spiritually transforming experience.

Merrill J. Bateman, “Becoming a Disciple of Christ,” Ensign, Apr. 2006, 16

“Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart, And was transfigured before them. … And behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with him” (Matt. 17:1–3; see also Mark 9:4–9; Luke 9:30; and D&C 63:21).

2 Nephi 25:25-29
[...]we are made alive in Christ because of our faith[...]
And we talk of Christ, we rejoice in Christ, we preach of Christ, we prophesy of Christ, and we write according to our prophecies, that our children may know to what source they may look for a remission of their sins.
[...]And the words which I have spoken shall stand as a testimony [...]; for they are sufficient to teach any man the right way; for the right way is to believe in Christ and deny him not; for by denying him ye also deny the prophets and the law.
And now behold, I say unto you that the right way is to believe in Christ, and deny him not; and Christ is the Holy One of Israel; wherefore ye must bow down before him, and worship him with all your might, mind, and strength, and your whole soul; and if ye do this ye shall in nowise be cast out.

Enos 1:26-27
And I saw that I must soon go down to my grave, having been wrought upon by the power of God that I must preach and prophesy unto this people, and declare the word according to the truth which is in Christ. And I have declared it in all my days, and have rejoiced in it above that of the world.
And I soon go to the place of my rest, which is with my Redeemer; for I know that in him I shall rest. And I rejoice in the day when my mortal shall put on immortality, and shall stand before him; then shall I see his face with pleasure, and he will say unto me: Come unto me, ye blessed, there is a place prepared for you in the mansions of my Father. Amen.

Yes, Minamoto, I have some tests, of varying degress. Thank you for your love and prayers, and mine go out to you, too. Glomp!

God the Father and Jesus Christ be with you all.

"The years have come and the years have gone, but the need for a testimony of the gospel continues paramount."
President Thomas S. Monson, Ensign, Nov. 1999, 20

Doctrine & Covenants 4:5
And faith, hope, charity and love, with an eye single to the glory of God, qualify him for the work.

Moroni 10:17-23
And all these gifts come by the Spirit of Christ; and they come unto every man severally, according as he will.
And I would exhort you, my beloved brethren, that ye remember that every good gift cometh of Christ.
And I would exhort you, my beloved brethren, that ye remember that he is the same yesterday, today, and forever
, and that all these gifts of which I have spoken, which are spiritual, never will be done away, even as long as the world shall stand, only according to the unbelief of the children of men.
Wherefore, there must be faith; and if there must be faith there must also be hope; and if there must be hope there must also be charity.
And except ye have charity ye can in nowise be saved in the kingdom of God; neither can ye be saved in the kingdom of God if ye have not faith; neither can ye if ye have no hope.
And if ye have no hope ye must needs be in despair; and despair cometh because of iniquity.
And Christ truly said unto our fathers: If ye have faith ye can do all things which are expedient unto me.

Update

Equus: Yeah!

Xihuitl: She's happy because she and a bunch of friends get to go to a Highland Festival this Saturday.

Equus: Of course, they gave me 39 hours at work this week. And I've already gotten another half-hour (or a bit). So at least they can't ask me to really work late, or else I'll kick into overtime.

Xihuitl: But that's good as far as the paycheck goes.

Equus: I know. (sigh) But still...

Xihuitl: Anyway, we'll update after the Festival. And possibly before, too. (wink)

Fact of the Day
Rabbits can eat red clover (which has white V's on the leaves) but not white clover (which doesn't have white V's). Red clover is called that for its purple flowers (and redbud is purplish, too) while white clover has white flowers.

Hi!
God our Father and Jesus Christ love us all. This life is a test, but They'll help us through it. Don't forget that. May Their Spirit guide you.

The light of Christ helps us all to know good from evil. That which prompts us to do good and to believe in Christ--and that acknowledges Jesus the Christ--is good. In our Lord Jesus Christ's holy name, believe. Love. Amen.

   Hi, guys....
Well, I worked eight and a half hours today...with only a fifteen minute break...on my choice...because I have hours to make up....

Tired....

Anywho, I'm just posting. ^_^

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I look unto the mountains, from whence cometh my strength.
Proverbs 10:27-32
The fear of the LORD prolongeth days: but the years of the wicked shall be shortened.
The hope of the righteous shall be gladness: but the expectation of the wicked shall perish.
The way of the LORD is strength to the upright: but destruction shall be to the workers of iniquity.
The righteous shall never be removed: but the wicked shall not inhabit the earth.
The mouth of the just bringeth forth wisdom: but the froward tongue shall be cut out.
The lips of the righteous know what is acceptable: but the mouth of the wicked speaketh frowardness.
2 Nephi 8:24-25
Awake, awake, put on thy strength, O Zion; put on thy beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city; for henceforth there shall no more come into thee the uncircumcised and the unclean.
Shake thyself from the dust; arise, sit down, O Jerusalem; loose thyself from the bands of thy neck, O captive daughter of Zion.
Site of the day:
Visit...Kuraiangel who very kindly continues to visit myself. And thanks to her, CTRNikkiM, Lady Lena Jade, and Minamoto Botan for being so concerned about me. Of course here I am at 11:00 at night, already tired for a while, and still not about to go to bed. Soons, though...I told Dark, when talking to him, that I would go to bed before midnight. He pulled the "do this for your best friend's boyfriend" thing--a reply to the times I pull the card of being his girlfriend's best friend and therefore having some authority, etc. Well, the authority's partly because I'm the oldest of the three of us, too. Heh. ^^
May God and Jesus Christ bless you all--They love you and want to and will, if you let Them and recognize Their blessings! Love and hugs and pocket hugs.
May you know God the Father and Jesus Christ's Holy Spirit and love! Pocket hugs and glomps! Let's help each other, as God helps all of us. ^_^ Love!
Okay, so it's only 12:37 in the morning, but still... So this is gonna be brief.
Update: I'm much better! Not completely well, but almost. And it would help if I got enough sleep and took care of my contacts. ^^;
Romans 1:6
Our faith in Jesus Christ!
Comments (1) | Permalink
   Hello today. ^_^
"In the quiet hours, in the heat of battle, and through the hazards of the day; in times of temptation, of sorrow, of peace and of blessing, let us pray always, both alone, and with our families gathered around us, with gratitude for the blessings of life, for understanding of its problems, and for strength to endure to the end."
Heber J. Grant, in Teachings of Presidents of the Church: Heber J. Grant [2002], 174
Quite simply, we have trials in life, but the Lord will always help us to endure them if we have faith in Him. And we will be blessed both now and in the eternities. I believe in the eternities--it is either that or utter oblivion. I prefer eternity. In my Lord Jesus Christ's holy name, amen.
"Life has its share of some fear and some failure. Sometimes things fall short, don't quite measure up. Sometimes in both personal and public life, we are seemingly left without strength to go on. Sometimes people fail us, or economies and circumstance fail us, and life with its hardship and heartache can leave us feeling very alone.
"But when such difficult moments come to us, I testify that there is one thing which will never, ever fail us. One thing alone will stand the test of all time, of all tribulation, all trouble, and all transgression. One thing only never faileth--and that is the pure love of Christ.
"“I remember,” Moroni cries to the Savior of the world, “that thou hast said that thou hast loved the world, even unto the laying down of thy life for the world, … Now I know,” he writes, “that this love which thou hast had for the children of men is charity” (Ether 12:33–34).
"[...]Moroni quotes his father for any who will listen in some later (“latter”) day, “If ye have not charity, ye are nothing” (Moro. 7:46). Only the pure love of Christ will see us through. It is Christ’s love which suffereth long, and is kind. It is Christ’s love which is not puffed up nor easily provoked. Only His pure love enables Him—and us—to bear all things, believe all things, hope all things, and endure all things (see Moro. 7:45).
Oh, love effulgent, love divine!
What debt of gratitude is mine,
That in his off’ring I have part
And hold a place within his heart.
(“God Loved Us, So He Sent His Son,” Hymns, no. 187)
"I testify that having loved us who are in the world, Christ loves us to the end. His pure love never fails us. Not now. Not ever. Not ever.
"He Will Never Let You Down," New Era, Sept. 2002, 7
Fact of the day:
We interrupt the current, on-going fact of the day to bring you this message. That poison ivy has three leaves, and those leaves are reddish when young? And poison ivy will climb trees, looking like a giant furry caterpillar. And while not everyone is allergic to poison ivy, many people are. Its oily annoyance is secreted from every part of the plant, and it will spread through touch and even when the plant is being burnt. It seems to not affect animals (as far as I know) but they can carry the oil, too. So beware the poision ivy. "Leaves of three, leave it be." If you come (or may have come) into contact with poison ivy, wash it off with soap and water--never just water! Water alone will spread the oil. After it has been washed off, though, the oil is not present and thus cannot be spread. If the classic red bumps appear and produce their clear liquid, that will not spread the poision ivy. Spotted jewelweed, I've been told, will help against poision ivy, but I don't know the details.
And Did you know that mints have square stems? ^_^
(These facts of the day sponsored by training, reading, and some previous experience.)
Equus: I know I haven't been on in a while. That's partly due to some Net trouble with pop-ups. But hi! How is everyone? I'm actually at home right now instead of at work because of slight illness. I was sick Friday night, not quite recovered on Saturday or even yesterday, and now a little sick again. Fun...but I get the day off. ^_^
Xihuitl: She's also going to try to make up hours later on this week.
Equus: True. Blegh.
Xihuitl: Otherwise, things are okay. We're looking forward to hopefully going to a Highland Festival next weekend, with friends, and
"There is need for constant improvement in all of our lives. There is need occasionally to leave the noise and the tumult of the world and step within the walls of a sacred house of God, there to feel His spirit in an environment of holiness and peace."
Gordon B. Hinckley, "Of Missions, Temples, and Stewardship," Ensign, Nov. 1995, 53
Peace and holiness. May God our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ be with you, and may you feel Their ever-abiding love. Love and hugs and pocket hugs. ^_^ Ciao for now!
For I the Lord cannot look upon sin with the least degree of allowance;
Nevertheless, he that repents and does the commandments of the Lord shall be forgiven;
And he that repents not, from him shall be taken even the light which he has received; for my Spirit shall not always strive with man, saith the Lord of Hosts” (D&C 1:31–33).
And again, verily I say unto you, O inhabitants of the earth: I the Lord am willing to make these things known unto all flesh;
For I am no respecter of persons [not showing preferment to any social or financial circumstances, race, etc.], and will that all men shall know that the day speedily cometh; the hour is not yet, but is nigh at hand[...]
And also the Lord shall have power over his saints, and shall reign in their midst, and shall come down in judgment upon Idumea, or the world.
Search these commandments, for they are true and faithful, and the prophecies and promises which are in them shall all be fulfilled.
What I the Lord have spoken, I have spoken, and I excuse not myself; and though the heavens and the earth pass away, my word shall not pass away, but shall all be fulfilled, whether by mine own voice or by the voice of my servants, it is the same.
For behold, and lo, the Lord is God, and the Spirit beareth record, and the record is true, and the truth abideth forever and ever. Amen.
Doctrine & Covenants 1:31-39
Let's strive for His light, the greatest light and love of all! Hugs!
Behold, I will reveal unto you the Priesthood, by the hand of Elijah the prophet, before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord.
And he shall plant in the hearts of the children the promises made to the fathers, and the hearts of the children shall turn to their fathers.
Doctrine & Covenants 2:1-2
