Oopsies!

Wellm it's seems that the image host that I'm using is having technical problems. >.< Dammit. So, if you see a red 'X' on your site, don't worry. I'll try to fix it.

Only 3 more days to vote who you want to be the next BotW!

Also, I'm in the process of making a link page.

I might put up another one, that's not that hard..I hope.

And our Band of the Week is ending tomorrow! So, as I had promised, you guys are going to pick who will be our next Band of the Week.

It could be a band or a solo artist; just so you know. ^-^

teh Sadness!

Ah, here I come with teh sadness..

Darned sadness.

Well, anyways, the guessing bodypart thing wasn't all that good.

Only one person entered and it was sango18. Thanks for entering! I appreciate it.

If you want the answers you can PM me for it.

Or, if you're just seeing this and don't know what I'm talking about, look back at the Archives and PM your answers. If you want to do so..

--

Another horrible and sad thing.

Due to recent problems at home, Kei-chan of Rabu Jrock, was unable to maintain the site. Thus closing it 2 days after she announced her departure on her main site.

Such a pity, isn't it?

Noir Fleurir

Sorry about the font color...
Alright. Band of the Week time. This week's feature: Noir Fleurir
I hope I do this band justice.
Oh and this post isn't that "long" it just has pics.

Logistics:
Noir Fleurir began in 1998 under the name DeFlower (1998 - 1999) with the line-up: Sei (vo), Tomo (gu), Karen (gu), Kengo (ba, vo), and Soushi (dr). Sei left after the recording of their second demo tape. He was replaced by Yasu. In 1999 Yasu and Tomo left. Teru joined DeFlower; DeFlower changed names to Noir Fleurir. They recorded under the label Key Party, home to groups such and Aliene Ma'riage, Speed-id, and Noi'x (as well as others). After Aliene Ma'riage disbanded in 2001, Mast became an official member of Noir Fleirir. In 2001 the group disbanded..
Style:
Noir Fleurir's music and fashion is gothic with a Spanish flair. However, towards the end of their career the visual kei and gothic element of the group was dropped for a more main stream and techno/dance style. One thing to Anote it the bassist Kengo. He is the more... well, 'well-known' member of Noir Fleurir. He's rather cute and his voice is catchy and high pitched. And I really don't want to re-word this, so from J-Rock Saga:
"terribly goth and managing to look so cute at the same time, particularly kengo, cuteness incarnated. i like soshi's style a lot, he looked like a phantasmagoric ghost ship captain turned pierrot. karen had a cool-looking gipsy thing going on. oh and teru's whip is kinda kinky"

Small Bios:

Teru:
Position: Vocal
Birthdate: 4/22
Bloodtype: A
Height: 170cm
Weight: 48kg
and he's featured in the background

Karen:
Position: Guitar
Birthdate: 3/01
Bloodtype: B
Height: 166cm
Weight: 53kg

Kengo:
Position: Bass and Vocal
Birthdate: 3/06
Bloodtype: 0
Height: 167cm
Weight: 48kg

Soshi:
Position: Drums
Birthdate: 12/29
Bloodtype: 0
Height: 170cm
Weight: 45kg

Mast (why not?):
Position: guitar
Birthdate: 11/8
Bloodtype: A
Height: ? small?
Weight: ? small?

DeFlower:

So last week Yume sama said/promised you'd get to choose the next band of the week, and I forgot about that promise. I'm sorry. So you do get to choose the next BotW that we feature. Please leave a comment about what band you would like us to find information on. Do please choose a 'not so main stream' group though. And from there we can all decide what to do..? I think..
I hope this all was useful, somehow. Thanks for reading it and have a great day.

once again, rei chan posting

Because one of the most frequent replies to "Support the artists, here are some links" is: "but I don't have a credit card" here are some alternative payment methods.

Nippon Export:
* Credit card: Secured online payment in Yens only, with a japanese interface (and a little bit of English);
* Moneybookers: Interface in many languages. 5% discount!
* IPMO: International Postal Money Order, payment in Yens or US Dollars only. 5% discount!
* CCP - Payment on Postal account: for Swiss customers only, payment in Francs Suisses only. 5% discount!

CDJapan:
We accept Credit Cards and Check Cards (VISA, VISA Check Card, VISA Electron, MasterCard, MasterCard Check Card, American Express, Diners Club, JCB), International Postal Money Order, and Cash (Japanese Yen or US Dollars).
We do not accept any other type of payment.

Yes Asia:
YesAsia.com is currently offering a wide range of payment options to customers which are convenient and easily arranged. The currently available payment options include: VISA Card, MasterCard, American Express, Discover Card, Check, Money Order, PayPal, YesAsia Coupon and YesAsia Credit. You must be able to find the most convenient payment option which suits you most.

J-XYZ:
Bank Draft / International Postal Money Order / Money Order; Cash; Credit Card

JPop House:
Check or Money Order
Paypal
Visa
Mastercard
American Express
Novus

Alright! So if you're wondering what the point of posting all that is... Simply put: "Lacking a credit card is not an excuse." (it's only a reason if you parent(S) said that you are not permitted to buy online and then this doesn't really apply to you) One thing that all the sites here have in common is the acceptance of IPMO (International Postal Money Order) which is different from a Western Union. (And if you know all this I applaud you) While cash is never recommended as a payment method because it's unsafe, IPMO is quite trust worthy. You can't cash it in or deposit it unless you are the person to whom the order is made out to. That way no one can steal it en route. It is widely accepted and easily accessible. You can get the slips at the post office and send it there as well. It's a painless process. There is a small fee attached to IPMOs but you pay that upfront at the p.o. (it's like $3 for a $100 order, or there about) It's received in a timely manner as well. So basically, lack of a credit card is no excuse, there are other payment options to draw from. So really, support the artists

Oh! by the way, the two DBJ graphics sites merged into one site. So now everything is there. If your computer doesn't like freewebs, it's also all here.

Later on in the week we'll have a BotW post up. It's just that the whole payment thing has been on my mind for a while now. If you read all of this, thanks.
Later loves! Have a great day.

New things!

Hey you guys.

Sorry, for not posting much. Rei chan and I have been working on some stuff you guys to interact with.

Ya know. It's all good. Other than this site being a clique-thing, it'll also be a place with information and stuff like that.

So, just be patient and I will try to promise that this new thing will be up as soon as we get it down and done!
