Ok, lets start from scratch.

You said you wanted some pointers, right? Well, it's actually very difficult to explain how to make your Otaku page unique and original.

First rule applies to all, YOU GOTTA CHANGE YOUR LAYOUT COLOURS!!! That's very VERY important. Depending on what your favourite colour is, you also have to determine what you want people to see in you. Colours depend on who you are as a person. Like, some people use black, and determines that they like black and are gothic or punk etc. Blue for instance, determines that this person is very cheery and happy alot. Like me! ^_^.

Second rule, make a vibrant feel in what you want on your page. Like, if you want to make some of your own graphics do so. If you prefer simply animations or pics, do that also. Make sure you like what you put, and don't overdo it when you add too many things.

Third rule, a background image. Now, a background image should be around 800x600 pixels or 1024x768 pixels. If you need some backgrounds, I'll give you some URLs to check out!

When you found an image, make sure you know that it suits you.

Fourth rule, avatar. Now, an avatar can be anything you want it to be. Anime or non-anime. It just has to be 125x125 pixels or less. For good avatars, check out this site.
