Hey everyone! Well today was an ordinary day, nothing really special. Just typical...and slightly boring, but that beside the point!
Ugh, I'm getting so nervous. The man in charge of the art agenecy that I'd like to work at still hasn't contacted me. Tommorow (Wednesday) will be exactly one week from when I went to talk to him. He said he'd e-mail me in "a couple of days"...which has turned into a week. Argh! I just wanna know! *sigh* It's so frustrating...
Sorry about that post. I'm just a little stressed out and all(I really, really want that job! >_<). Anyways! Hope you all have a wonderful rest of the week! love ya, laters...

Random fact of the day:
It was the accepted practice in Babylon 4,000 years ago that for a month after the wedding, the bride's father would supply his son-in-law with all the mead he could drink. Mead is a honey beer and because their calendar was lunar based, this period was called the Honey month we know today as the honeymoon.

I am so excited!! My brother just told me that he got a commision to do artwork for the company that publishes The Lord of the Rings! I can't remember the name of the company, but that's what they're most know for. I'm so happy for him. He's probably just going to illustrate textbooks, but still. My brother's part of a group of artist called Portland Studios (not in Portland yet, but they're workin' on it ^_~) anyways, out of all the artist they liked my brother's art the best! Yay for Cory is all I can say. The website for the company is : www.portlandstudios.com and my brother's name is Cory. check it out for some awesome artwork! Even though it's not his best stuff they're really good. laters...

Hey everyone! Well, I couldn't think of anything else to post so I thought I'd post a poem I wrote. We got a new English teacher a few weeks ago and he asked us to write a poem about ourselves. So here goes...
“It’s the happiest place on Earth!”
Throughout my childhood I spent many summers
getting soaked on Splash Mountain, gazing at the parades, and devouring the mouse shaped ice-cream bars of Disney World.
Each summer I went accompanied by my family.
My family.
A teacher for a mother, an artist for a brother,
and the Queen of Sheba for a cat.
My mother’s eternal love.
Teaching me to read, braid, and make grilled cheese.
My brother and his vexing humor.
Teaching me
what gullible means, why not to ride
on a bike’s handle bars,
and that black eyes can be
prevented by having the proper baseball mitt.
And my cat’s swaying affection.
Teaching me where the phrases “curiosity killed the cat” and “scaredy cat” come from,
and that she is the most important thing in life so naturally I
am not.

Yay for computers!What anime cliche are you? The Second time around.
You're the nerd of the anime kingdom, but that is not meant to be an insult. Anime nerds generally are intelligent with a strong love of computers, and in many cases can be quite cute too. You're probably a little clutsy, but we can look past that.

Hey everyone! Hope you all had a great weekend. I certainly did. On Friday afternoon my mom took me to get my Jr.Sr. banquet dress fitted. Thank goodness the dress is almost done and lookin' good. yay ^_^ ! Then after that I went to a party one of my brother's friends was having. It was so much fun. They live near a late so everyone was playing in the water.
On Saturday Nikki and I had our own little movie day. We watched movies from about 1:30 to about 7:00 p.m. We stared with Sleepy Hollow. Oh my goodness, what a cool movie! Johnny Depp was so cute and so funny! After that we watched the second Harry Potter movie. Always a goodie ^_^ . Then we started to watch Spirited Away while Nikki started a Harry Potter fanfic and I sketched out her character. But alas, Nikki had to leave.
Well, that about rounds up my exciting weekend. Hope you all have a fantastic week! laters...
