Surprise!

Aha! I have... umm... nothing... to uhh- upload...

My apologies... no wallpapers... no videos.. nothing... sad to say. I think my full review of Sonic the Hedgehog is up on www.thesonicworld.net but I dunno...

Every time I play that Sonic game, by the way, it gets cooler. Sonic isn't constrained to going relatively slow in a forward direction as some have complained... if you unlock certain things you can get mach speed boosts and slow down relative time around you. This way you can move at Sonic speed with human reaction time. Cool no?

I watched .Hack//Liminality recently... I believe it takes place during the first video game... from the outside. It gave me some background info on .Hack//Sign and the whole series.. but not enough. I need to get the game and play it through.

Oh yes, my finals are cleared rather well as far as I know. They are out of my hands so I can do nothing about them. I had 5... one I was completely not worried about.. two I was slightly worried... one of those has already been cleared fully. but the other and the remaining two classes I'm not sure on... the teacher proceeded to make the tests when we got to each class (same teacher each time... all three tests in three consecutive classes).

Well aside from that not much is going on... I'm on break for now so that means I may actually get some creativity flowing and some drive to make stuff (well I've always got drive.. it's forcing the creativity that's the prob).

Edit: Curses! One of these days I'm going to learn to recheck before I post! Ok.. so I just rechecked my results and everything is in the clear! Oh yeah, 'tis cool.

One last thing... I got them before hand (fortunately) but so far the best thing I've received this year for my day of commemoration (brithday, meh) is a brand new pair of sneaks... the last pair I picked up squeaked and were falling apart quickly.. stupid things...

sweN

So, now I've finished .Hack//Sign... interesting, much like the ending to the .Hack//Legend of Twilight manga the ending was sudden. A pleasant ending with some stuff that really didn't make sense as to why it was in there. It works, just I wonder why they chose to throw that in there.

If nothing else, I enjoyed the series and most of it makes sense in some way or another.

AS an added note: The more I play "Sonic the Hedgehog" (Next-Gen) the cooler it gets! So far the only problem I have with it now is the loading screens (there are probably a couple other things.. but they're minor and able to be dealt with so no biggie). Ignore the reviews, try the game yourself.

Also, my first final is today... hopefully I can get all my projects and stuff done before Friday.. but I doubt that. I'd say don't expect anything new from me but that's silly 'cause most have probably already assumed as such. This makes it easier for me becuase now when I do upload something new it will be "Amazing" even if it's sorry, hehe.

Replies and first views

Shishou: Pretty much animes that focus on action and heroes. Like fighting for others and protecting against evil stuffs.

ShaniKun: Every seen in that vid is from the new Sonic game. Nothing old in that one, hehe.

Ok, I started revisiting sites last night... unfortunately my commenting skillz are low so I'm gonna work on that and hopefulyl visit some more tonight.

Second: I started watching .Hack//Sign
I read Legend of the Twilight a few months back and that peaked my interest. This one has already started interesting though. Personally, it may jsut be that I like video games like that. 2 Episodes in is hard to really come up with anything interesting yet. Maybe when I'm a few more in I'll have something to say.

Btw, Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess is awsm! I recommend it (at least as far as I've played to this point... silly family always playing my Revolution, hehe)

Edit: I just found out why it seemed like I'd been dropped into the middle of the action on .Hack! It's because I was! The way the files were made the first ten are of a different type! So I ended up starting on episode 11! Agh! The Injustice!

Haha, finally!

Ok, so I finally got a Youtube account.. which means I can put my videos there and then pipe them to here for people to watch. This is my newest one which isn't even up on TSW yet so feel free to enjoy.

Note: It is all Sonic Next-Gen clips... but I tried to avoid spoilers of any kind. Be forewarned though.

Generators

Ok, so I pretty much watched all of Generator Gawl today.. yeah it's not that long of a series. While the ending wasn't as great as it could've been it was still interesting enough to be enjoyable.

Personally, the whole time travel aspect has interested me a lot lately.. fortunately for me I've been getting a lot of it. Everything from my Sonic game to animes I've been watching. It's great!

If you get a chance, I'd recommend Generator Gawl.. it's funny in places and kind of fun to watch. Not gonna top any records or have the most interesting and exciting storyline but it's a good tool to clean ones palate between fiction.

Dropped

I'm sorry to say that I cannot continue Escaflowne... it doesn't really match my style of anime. (Ok, so the idea of medieval mechs does... but there's way too much junk involving the Tarot cards actually being real).

So I've moved on to Generator Gawl.. I've just started and it's a short series so that gives me some time to think about the next series. Gawl is pretty funny in places though.

Well, until later.

Strange

Ok, so I finished watching S-Cry-Ed.. really wish that Cougar had a longer/better fight scene near the end (I mean, c'mon... all that speed and that's the screen time he gets? Oh well, he's still cool). I enjoyed the ending btu it wasn't as intense as GunXSword... man that was great...

So I took the one suggestion reply I got and started watching Escaflowne.. for the moment my opinion is wavering. The side that uses medieval based Mechs and swords is just dynamically awsm! The side that's a strange highschool-like love story makes me waver (the tarot cards really don't help... but at least Van doesn't believe them, hehe). My opinion is still out.. but I've only seen the first 3 eps so far... who knows which way I'll go on this one.

Update

Shanikun: Aye, I've read "Legend of the Twilight" and that was enigmatic enough.. I think you have to read/watch/play everything (or at least a combination) to understand the whole thing. I'd like to play "roots" at some point though.

LystikinenaXP: Blast.. loser Youtube... purchased by Google weren't they? Yeh, buying the anime is expensive.. as is the manga... fortunately I work in a ring of friends and we share, makes things cheaper.

Ok, so now I've been watching S-Cry-Ed.. Amazing series. I'm about halfway through and I'm thinking "Woah, this thing is as cool as my new Fedora!" Personally, I think Cougar's abilities are the best. Oh yeah! My main opinion of this series so far? It's like watching a series about Sanosuke Sagara.

Btw, out of the animes I listed in my previous post.. any suggestions on which one I should attempt next?

The ground is wet/cold/and covered in a white substance

Haha, it finally snowed here. It hasn't done that in about two years I think. Funniest stuff abotu snow here... last two days the temperature has been about 70-80 F(like 25-27 C). Woke up this morning and BAM! Snow.... In addition, with only abotu a half-inch of snow ( + ice btw), my college shut down. So I don't have class today and I wasn't going to have class tomorrow either! I'm done for this week, muahahah!

On another note... I have now watched Gundam wing and Finished GunXSword.... Both series were extremely awsm! GunXSword touched on some of the same subjects Gundam did, but was an entirely different storyline! Amazingly well done although sad in parts (typically anime, hehe). Wing was the best portrayal of attempts at peace-in-war-time that I've ever seen. Some great stuff.

I'd say more but I don't wanna run long. Please note however that I will be putting up comments abotu other anime series shortly... I have recently acquired a great deal of anime... which consists of:
Escaflowne
Gundam SEED
Gundam Seed Destiny
S-Cry-Ed
Generator Gawl
.Hack//Sign

Yes, lots of anime... I must watch quickly... Plus another friend is bringing me Eureka 7 and Last Exile... so I should have some more later. Amazing that someone with dial-up and little cash (especially with my recent purchases) could get to watch so much. All thanks to my friends.

P.S. Remember people! It's a Nintendo "Revolution!" I have one and they're awsm... get one if you can!

Books

After a several years of attempting, my mom finally managed to get a book published. I have not read it yet myself; however, I have heard good reviews from those who have and I plan to read it soon myself.

Advent Phoenix is available at:

Publish America: http://www.publishamerica.com/shopping/shopdisplayproducts.asp?Search=Yes

Quick review of the book:
Morgain Treleyne leads a double life. To most of the galaxy, Treleyne is a shadowy figure who specializes in hard-to-obtain cargoes. It is a persona that allows Treleyne to pursue a far deadlier prize—the downfall of those who would destroy the peace-loving Patriots.

When the past collides with the present, Treleyne is torn between friendship and duty. Allies demand answers that Treleyne is unable to give, while the enemy ruthlessly exploits those friendships as both sides seek to use Treleyne to destroy the other.

Time is running out as the Imperium springs its most deadly attack against the Patriots. With the heart held hostage, Treleyne takes a desperate gamble for love’s sake.

Walking a razor-thin edge between light and dark, Treleyne’s pursuit pits allies against each other, brings age-old loyalties into question, and threatens the very survival of the Patriots.

Yeah, so umm... supplies are limited, feel free to purchase a copy if you like science fiction! B)
