Bored as hell...
I actually woke up at 7 this morning. Yes, that is unusual, especially because when I didn't have to wake up early after graduation, I took to sleeping until noon and staying awake until 2 in the morning. Call me lazy, call me horrible, I don't really care, all that matters is I get to sleep as late as I want now!
Which is why this is a shock. But "Tho' this be madness, yet there is a method to it". I have dial up at home, and last night it took me almost an hour to download a live performance video of Gackt's Vanilla. Obvious answer to obvious next question: It was perfectly legal. I was fed up with how slow my internet is, so I decided to go to the college and hang out with my mom (that's even more rare than me waking up early, so you know... I don't really get along with her well, we differ too much on too many important ideas) and, ya know, while I was at it, take advantage of the wireless network they have here. Much faster than dialup and a lot easier. I'm not looking for a phone line at least. Plus I got a nice junk food breakfast of French Vanilla capuccino (Can't ever spell that and it's one of my favorite things... actually I just can't spell today...) and strawberry poptarts. Yay for junk food!
The movie store in my town is so... messed up. The other day, I went in to buy a DVD, Kyo Kara Maoh 1 in fact, and I get up there to buy it, the clerk says if I'm not 18 I can't buy it! So I point out I am, and he asks if I have proof. Not having a liscense or anything of the sort is not a good idea when you have someone like that on your hands. So he proceeds to turn to another clerk and asks if I look 18 to him... Of course I don't! I have people ask if I'm in anywhere from 7th to 10th grade! Damn, be 5'3" and a makeup-hater and people automatically assume you're younger than you really are! Actually, it's not the looks too young to be 18 thing that bothers me, it's that he turned to the guy and asked him if I looked 18 pretty loudly, and that it was a 13 and up rated movie... Damn, how young did he think I was?! I bring this up because I'm going to see if Mom would be willing to go by the store after class, and I still get mad thinking about this. It was almost a month ago, if I remember right, but it still annoys me that they wanted to card me for a movie... Stupid stuff... if they try to card me for wanting to buy the Gackt CD one of my friends said they have, I'm gonna die.
Well, I have nothing more to say. Guess it's time to say... Solaris out! ^_^

Reccomendations...
Okay, so I have maybe 5 new animes and one manga to recommend to you people looking for new stuff this summer. I've personally seen at least one episode of each of these (and in a few cases, own some of it)and I can promise they're good. Just a warning, a lot of them are yaoi. Sorry! ^_^ It's a lovely addiction if you find good stuff.
DVD 1: Sukisyo! (Suki wa mono wa suki dakara shoganai!) is a cute series that lives up to it's name: I like what I like, so there! You can buy all three DVDs from rightstuf.com, but I have to warn you, it can get somewhat graphic (as in you can tell what's going on but they don't show it happening well) and it's only in subtitles but that doesn't make it a bad series. One of my friends doesn't care for subtitle, and she borrowed the whole series and loved it. The extras are original music videos (Matsuri's is hilarious, fyi!) and voice actor commentary, and the story caught me from episode one. Sora fell from the fourth story of his school and survived, but he doesn't remember a thing, so it's up to Sunao to remind him. But Sunao hides a secret, and a split personality that loves Sora's other side (Ran and Yoru, respectively). Watch to find out what happens.
DVD 2: Kyo Kara Maoh! God (?) Save Our King!- I'm not putting it second because I liked it less than Sukisyo, it's second because I saw it second. Yuri Shibuya has been pulled into an alternate dimension through, of all things, a toilet! When he awakes in this strange world, he finds out that he's the new king. Before he has a chance to learn what the heck is up with these crazy people, he slaps someone who insults his mom and finds out that he's just proposed to the guy! This series is in dub and sub, and you can get it through rightstuf.com as well (though I picked up my copies at Hastings) It doesn't really seem it at first, but it is yaoi. You won't see any action, though; the engaged boys hate each other.
DVD 3: Weiss Kreuz Gluhen- thinking about putting a review up for this. Basically it's a continuation of the original Weiss, with a few twists that make it a really good show. No clue how to get this, I rented it from Hastings, though, and I have seen copies availible from there as well.
DVD 4: Gundam Seed Destiny- This one goes out to the Gundam fans! Destiny brings Athrun into the spotlight, and the first DVD of the series? Don't start watching if you don't have a while, it's massive! The series switches to a whole new alliance to watch, and brings some basic human questions into play, like Seed. It's hard to describe without giving spoilers, so just watch. Availible in dub and sub, no idea about the extras, and no clue who produces it. Once again, this was a rent from Hastings.
DVD 5: Loveless- I also recommend the manga, which is well done, and has some very interesting situations. Once again, we have a yaoi on our hands, and a great one. Ritsuka is a young catboy still trying to get over the death of his older brother Seimei (which is very difficult to do when you have a crazy mom saying you aren't her son!) and a transfer to a new school where a young catgirl named Yuiko won't let him be alone. And to top it all off, a crazy adult (who apparently has some... experience, since he has no cat ears and when you lose your virginity you lose your cat ears and tail)named Soubi tells him he's the sacrifice part of a fighting team, and a name his brother told him was his true name binds them... even though Seimei and Soubi's name was beloved, and Ritsuka is Loveless. Availible through rightstuf.com, and only in sub. No idea about the extras; Newtype readers may remember it from a sample DVD a few months back.
Manga 1: Gorgeous Carat 1- Set in turn of the century Paris (with a few discrepencies, but that just makes it a good story). Florian is the son of a fallen aristocrat who is in desperate need of money (or a wake up call, one). In a moment of desperation, she calls a distant (rich) relative of theirs and asks for money. Ray (said relative)instantly liked Florian for his amethyst eyes and offers a blank check to the woman, tells her to fill in an amount if she'll give him Florian. Florian agrees, but only to find out that Ray is the Phantom Theif Noir! This can't be good... Book one is out from Blu, and book two is coming out sometime in June.
Hopefully that gives you something to do this summer... Yes, I have no job as of yet, so I've had time to watch this stuff. Pathetic, but true. This is what happens. I've taken to sleeping all day and chatting at night, writing stories in the time I'm awake. I think I'm ticking mom off somedays when I get an idea that takes all day to get down and don't get any housework done. Another advantage to all this anime: it keeps little brother busy. ^_^ Okay, so he's mostly been watching some of my tamer animes, but I think I may get him watching Kyo Kara Maoh! soon.
Well, that's all I have to say. Solaris out!

A few days late, but with reason...
Whoops! Somewhere I missed the reminder to myself to update. ^_^ My bad.
I turned 18 on the ninth. Party time! Actually, no, it wasn't, because I had to go to a choir practice, and perform that night at the spring program. My original song went over better than I had hoped. And it was my last high school choir program ever.
Yes, I have graduated. I graduated on Saturday, and actually had fun. I didn't cry at all, so I was the only girl who didn't. Our principal even cried, and he's only been here since the beginning of the school year! Then I went out and had hawaiian ice (yummy! Mai Tai! and Vanilla/Margerita!), rented dvds (Weiss Kruez Gluhen and Gundam Seed Destiny), and went to the arcade. I can DDR in high heels! ^_^ *dance party time!* Then I had to go home, but Noura (my little sister figure) stayed the night, so we had movie night. Since my weekend was so crammed, I'm going to Noura's this weekend to hang out. Her mom invited me over, so it was all cool. If you don't hear from me this weekend, I have an excuse.
And! My mom got me a laptop for graduation/birthday! I'm having a ton of fun with that, and I finally bought an MP3 player! So I've had a fairly good time.
Well, I can't think of much more to say. The play went well, in case I forgot. Well, Solaris out!

   Grr....
I have one question aimed towards all the YYH fans out there:
WHY ARE THERE NO GOOD KURONUE PIX TO BE FOUND?!?! ANYWHERE?!
Okay, sorry, and here's the explaination for the random yell. My friend Noura is writing this fanfiction involving her oc and Kuronue, not to mention my little Sol-Sol, and from the sound of it, it's going to be hilarious. So anyhow, I wanted to sketch this as a comic, but the problem is that I haven't seen enough Kuronue pix to know exactly what he looks like, so in a prelim sketch, I had to take a bit of artistic license, and I didn't want to do that. But then, I was looking, and I haven't found anything. Fun, huh? Oh well, something will show up, I guess.
Well, about to log off. Solaris out!

Three for three!
Wow, aren't you people lucky? Three posts in about as many days, wow, and good for you. Of course, that could always mean a bunch of things, like...

I've got 4 more days until my boyfriend can call and I'm lonely so I'm relating my day to you peoples who might read this in the hopes that it'll make me feel better, which it prolly won't.

See, aren't I so honest? Okay, to be really honest, I'm ticked off. See, Irresponsible friend T. supposedly has a creepy stalker chick after him who is transferring to our school. She was supposed to show up today, so I blew this week's paycheck on things at Hot Topic (see last post for specifics) so I could dress in black and hopefully startle her into leaving him alone. I EVEN PAINTED MY NAILS BLACK!!! Yes, this is a big deal, I don't generally paint my nails. So I get all done up and guess who never shows up? That's right, creepy stalker chick. So here I am in a shirt that doesn't look right, it gets up to almost 80 today so I have to ditch the jacket, and I'm in my heeled combat boots (which I love to death but get really hot in). Not a fun time.
So there's that, really. That's the only major thing that happened to me today. Oh, but I am up at the local college right now to get some music and fics. And I just decided to take advantage of this time to post. But that's all I can think of, so goodbye! Solaris out!

Wow! Two posts in one week!
This is a rare occurence, that happens only once in every 200 years... or when Solaris Moon has some time on her hands and had an interesting day. Take a guess which it is.
The new mall in my town has a Hot Topic, and I love that place. I swear if I won the lottery, I would spend most of the money in Hot Topic. Point being, today I went to the mall with a friend who was meeting some guy. It didn't pan out, but we got a trip to the mall in. I got a new collar, some net gloves, and two new buttons: "Guns don't kill people, Ninjas do" and "You won't know when and you won't know where, but you will know why". Fun! And she got a gundam game at the other mall. And we went to a Mexican restaurant to eat, so it was a good day.
So... not much else. Sleepy, bored, wanna talk to my boyfriend. Solaris out!

Lookit the.... hey, where are the bears?
Sorry, just saw a yogi bear commercial. My brother decided it was time to watch Boomerang. So her I sit listening to Superman. He may die if he doesn't shut his mouth about my weight. I am NOT fat, dammit! But, just so my costume fits me, I've been walking and biking more. Always fun.
I'm a little sleepy, y'all. Sorry. Also, I'll bet anyone who reads my fanfictions prolly thinks "OMG! She's dead!" Nope, this is not a post from beyond the grave, I just haven't had a chance to write lately. I have been working on a strange little fic lately, but I have no idea how that will turn out. It's just something to pass the time on occasion.
So... I'm going to set up a new e-mail. I've had the one I use now since I was 12. Maybe 13. Not exactly sure, but anyhow, I'm always getting forwards that I don't want, invites to various chats and sites, and newsletters from Waldenbooks (which, may I add, vanished from my city in January). I'm tired of the chain letters that say if I don't send this, God will curse me and take away my boyfriend, kill my computer and my social life, and give me some sort of disease. I hate those things, I usually delete them. So, here, for future peoples who wanna pass their junk e-mail on to me, I issue this:
I will not read the forwards and crap asking me to 'plz join this site and help me get points to earn cool free stuff!!!1!!'. The chain letters are bogus crap, and I have too many sites to check in my limited time frame anyhow! So unless you have something important to show me, don't send the chain crap!
Also, I can't check my e-mail daily. My school is run by idiots who blocked the e-mail accounts. They block Otaku and I may have a stroke. But, I guess I won't have to worry about that after May 13th because that's when I graduate!
Incidetially, my 18th birthday falls on the same day as the school choir program. And I think I'll be singing my original song... barring anything better hitting me.
Well, i'm tired and I'm chatting with my boyfriend, so I had best go. Solaris out!

Spring break! Yatta...
Sorry, I'm tired, but I am getting a post in before I 1)fall asleep, and 2)have to get offline for the night. It's my final spring break as a high school student. And I can't spell for shit tonight, this makes the 10th time in one paragraph I've had to correct typos.
I haven't broken my toe again and now my leg hurts... soft tissue damage sucks. I'm guessing now there are either some confused looks or some grossed out looks. And the thoughts are either 'what the hell is she talking about?' or 'EWWW! OMG! I didn't wanna know!' Explaination time: I broke one of my toes by tripping over my own foot jumping around my grandma's house like a maniac. (They know I'm hyper, especially at night, so they let me. But when I get hurt, it's my own fault.) A couple of nights ago, I rebroke it for the fifth time in the two or three weeks it's been broken, and it was pretty bad, so for a couple of days I was walking around with the medical equivalent of duck tape on my foot. Ne c'est pas amusant when you're having to walk to school. Also, a week ago it was incredibly rainy, so I caught a ride to school with a friend (the one I usually walk with) and slid on a stair, bruised my left leg (same leg with the broken toe... I'm sensing an unintentional pattern here...) and damaged the soft tissue. So I now have a bruise the size of a small child's fist, and a huge sore spot on the front of my leg. I hit it earlier (accident, I tell you!) and it felt like liquid fire was running down my leg for about five minutes. So I'm contending with a broken toe, and a damaged leg. Now if I could only get a few days off my feet, I could heal.
I don't really get a break. I have to help fix up the old house to sell and watch the boy, not to mention work on a research paper for ap liturature. Boring...
Well, Solaris out. Ja mata!

Gomen Nasai!!!! -Deep bow of apology-
I'm so uber sorry! I've been really busy lately with a lot of junk. So, here's what's happened lately.
I got out of east lab (thank the stars...) and into office aide 5th. Less walking, more time to try not to fail economics. Okay, work on projects. See, we have to get the stocks, and we're supposed to have 5 people to a group. Weeeelllll.... early on in the semester, one of the girls in our group got pregnant (again... I used to know here before she took a break to have the first kid. Cute kid too, seen the photos.) and she decided to drop out and just get her ged. Grr number one. Then the only other girl decided just after the first project that she was going to move to another state with her significant other (she's old enough to do that.) and leave me with a couple of slacking guys. I should have expected it, huh? Well, one isn't as bad as the other. One is concered about his grade, just not able to do much since it all depends on me getting the stock prices before class, and the other just doesn't care because he's going into the air force after he graduates. R. (concered one) tries to help with what T.(air force) won't get off his rear and do. We tried to talk some sense into him, but he doesn't seem to realize that it affects us too. But all in all, we're doing all right.
Hm... Drama is putting on The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe for our spring play. I finally get to be a villain! All I generally get are the good girl parts, like the girl every one wants to be (Princess in one play, and various other roles not mentioned here) and now I get to be the White Witch! Yatta! Party time! So anyhow, I think we're putting this play on outdoors, so it's gonna be great. ^_^ Can't wait... Wait, yes I can, I still have a ton of lines to learn. Most of them are long rambling paragraphs, I swear!
Things are going great with my boyfriend. Over a year since we met (1 year 5 months on March 31.) and a year since we started going out. I'm amazed it's lasted this long. True love can be amazing...
So. Anything amazing going on out there? C'mon, I'm sorry for not updating so long, but I've been grounded, busy with a move... Oh yeah! I moved to a new house. Three bedroom (with locks on the doors and windows that open!)two bath (more privacy!) and... drum roll please... A DISHWASHER!!! That may not be a big deal to some, but it is to me. My old house was ancient, the plumbing wouldn't support a dishwasher, so I had to wash every thing by hand. Yes, everything, glasses plates grody hamburger pans... scarred me for life. When I move out, I'll get an apartment with a dishwasher for sure. I am never washing another dish by hand again.
Well, not much to say. Besides the fact that I wanna hurt my brother for taking the tv over so I can't watch Fullmetal Alchemist. Curse him... I'll try to catch the reshowing. So now I'm listening to Smile.dk until he passes out. ^_^ Laters!

Life sucks...
Song: Learn to be lonely-Phantom of the Opera. And with good reason.
For the past few months, I've had this little kitten that a friend and I found outside one night after play rehearsal. It was a little stray, the cutest little calico cat (mostly white, but it was still a calico) and we called her Shrimp Scampi (have I written about her before? I have no clue...) Point is, she had her first vet visit today.
Normally, I'd be okay with it, we were just taking her for a checkup and her routine shots, plus we needed some worm medicine. Hey, stray kittens generally have them! Anyhow, I was waiting with captain asshole (my brother) for about a half hour, then mom calls us into the room, and the vet breaks some news to us. By 'breaks some news to us', I mean dropped a friggin' atomic bomb on my life! Little miss Scampi had feline leukemia, and we'd never known about it. I mean, they look perfectly healthy. Thing is, it's incurable (for anyone just finding out about it for the first time, you're in good company, I just found that little fact out today myself.) and the only thing we could do was put her to sleep.
I'm a coward... I couldn't stay in the room with her, so I just kissed the top of her head and tried to leave with some dignity. Which is pretty hard when you're crying and there are three people waiting to get their pets. I couldn't even bring myself to take her body home to bury her, I had to have them take care of her. Mom was crying too, and the boy? Still thinks he sees her. I just can't believe that the little cat who had fun fighting wrapping paper is dead. It's unbelievable how fast someone gets attached to a creature. I think I'm about to cry. For the 100th time today. Seriously.
And through it all, I have one enduring question: How the hells am I going to break it to my friend? We both found her, so we claimed joint custody (even though Scampi stayed at my house the whole time). Well, she can't get mad at me, I hope.
And so I leave with this: Listen to the song! I'm depressed and that strangely resembles the whole situation.
Learn to be lonely
Learn how to love life that is lived alone...
