Still Fly
Song: Still Fly by Big Tymers

I remember this song from the eight grade and it still is funky now a days. It makes me shake my dreads and put my stunna shades on, XD.

I'd like to make a personal shout out to John 3:16. You are officialy the coolest person besides Alyssa that I've met all year and that's saying something, cause I've met a lot of new people this year. You are always very caring and we share a lot of traits believe it or not. You are just plain cool. So props to you.

Sorry for updating in a while. I've been soo busy with stuff that I haven't had the time. I've got most of next week off from school because I've got finals and most of them are in one day. I'm not worried about them at all, because- not to brag- but I'm really smart. It's one of the talents the Lord gave me. I hardly have to study for tests or not at all, and I still get A's on them. Still, wish me luck guys!

Things have become better between me and Alyssa. We don't argue at all anymore and I think it's for the better. I am so happy that things have kind of slowed down, but now I find myself kind of bored with everday stuff. Maybe something will come along and perk me right up...it may be someone. I don't know ^_~

Have a nice Sunday everyone....remember to stay fly in the eyes of the Lord.

God Bless
Korey

He didn't have to be
Song: He Didn't Have to Be by Brad Paisley

For some reason, I'm on a country kick, but I love this song. Good stuff to listen to. I'm kind of fluctuaitng between the pillows and Brad Paisley. Funny little mix on that one eh?

Things are kind of mashed up right now. Me and Alyssa are having spats and we've done stuff to each other that isn't exactly fair to each other. So I think it would be best for us to start over and take a deep breath (strike that, reverse it). I love her too much to lose her. She means the world to me. So Alyssa, if you read this, I LOVE YOU. Don't ever forget that. No matter how angry and upset I am at you, I will always love you.

~~~~~~~~~~~~
Comment Corner:
Jacob: sure if you want my usless stuff...like my ps3 and rock band ensemble....various fighting games....etc.... lol. You have a Merry Christmas too dude.
John 3:16 : Yeah, everyone now celebrates Christmas for the commercial reason and the whole meaning of the holiday has been lost in my opinion. At least I will be celebrating for the right reasons.
Yeah Ghost Riding is done for now...because I can only be so hood for so long....lol. It was fun for like 30 seconds, but it got lame after a while because my seawalk sucks. I wouldn't dare do it again....
~~~~~~~~~~~~

Take care everyone, Have a happy holiday season and a Meli Kalikimaka (Merry Christmas in Hawaiian)

Me, I want a Hula Hoop
Song: Christmas, Don't Be Late by Alvin and the Chipmunks.

What a better way to usher in the new Christmas season than by putting on some classic Christmas songs, more to come on the way. Can't wait for Christmas, because we get to celebrate the birth of our lord and celebrate family and the season. Hope you guys have an awesome holiday season too.

Alyssa got her car yeseterday. She got a 2005 Kia Rio and it's a pretty good car. It's not like mine, which is ten times better, if not only for the fact that I drive it. And on the subject, I did some ghost riding yesterday, but it was kind of lame because my friend held the wheel while I got out and Sea Walked outside the car. It was funny, and I should have had someone recording it. But I don't think I'll do that again, it's kind of scary.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Comment Corner:
John3:16 (lol to self): Ghost riding is funny and the only reason I mentioned it, was because I saw a video where a guy used the song and then I saw videos of ghost riding whips for real. Hilarious stuff, because those losers really trashed their cars. Death is bad, but accidental death like that is stupidity.
I have pretty good stamina. The day actually turned out better than I thought. I thanked the Lord for that one, cause that day would have supremely stunk if it was as long as I thought it was.
~~~~~~~~~~~~

Have a good day everyone, happpy holidays! 23 days until Christmas....woooo.....

God Bless
Korey

   Ghost Ride the Whip.....Now Shake Dem Dreads
Song: Tell me When to go by E-40

What a funny little song, because ghost riding is the most dangerous thing I've ever seen attempted. For those of you who don't know, Ghost Riding is when you exit your vehicle and attempt to stand or ride on the hood of your car while it is still rolling. Extremely dangerous, but yet funny to see how these people's vehicles end up because of a lack of sense.

Today is a long day, I'm surprised I actually had time to update. I got up at 6 this morning to go to a class for my work, so I wouldn't be in trouble with the Health people for not having a Food Handlers Card. Then I was whisked right away to school, which is an additional three hours of time. Then I have work today from 6 to Midnight. What a wonderful day, wouldn't you say? It can't possibly get much better than this.

Alyssa called me today and said she got her driver's liscense and she's gonna have a car soon...if not by the end of the week. That's pretty cool, cause now she doesn't have to worry about having rides home and stuff. I'm really kind of scared for her because she's gonna be behind the wheel by herself, but I'm sure she'll be alright.

Comment Corner:

Ink: Yeah if you get the chance to hear any good songs on my site...please do. I do have a varied library of music, it's pretty awesome...lol. Thanks for the kind words about the verse. It's one of my favorites.

Have a good day everyone. May the Lord be present with you always.

More than a memory
Song: More than a Memory by Garth Brooks

I heard this song just recently and I find that this song is just epic. It moves me to tears almost every time and I don't cry because of songs too often. I guess Garth just does that to me. Oh well.

Today is going ok. We have a major project due for Theater class on Monday and I can't wait for to come because I did a really good job. We have finals coming up in school and then I get a break from that place. It's not really school that stresses me out sometimes, but it's the trip to and from there, work, and responsibilities at home. It's kind of a nice get a way for me, because I don't have to deal with that other stuff. Just school. I wish I could move into the dorms, but my mom is against it because our house is still there. I guess it's a mom thing. I'm her first baby and she doesn't want to see me go yet. It's really touching.

Comment Corner:

Shannen: Long time, no see! Yeah, the snow kind of freaked me out when I saw it, but it's gone by now. That's what happens when the sun comes out in the desert. Here's hoping New York will get some snow.
~~~~~~~~~~~~
Have a good day everyone. Remember, when all of life's things fall, Jesus Christ will always be there to help pick you up.
Shameless
Song: Shameless by Garth Brooks
It's funny how people have said that Garth has returned...when he's been around for so long and flying under the radar. One greatest hits CD and ultra cool concert later....BAM! Back into the spotlight. Funny how that happens eh? And I'm not ashamed to say I like country music, especially if it's Garth Brooks. I've listened to it since I was a kid and I know practically all his songs by heart.
Oh? Who am I? Where have I been? Well, lots has happened since my last post. Let's do a quick update. There was working during thanksgiving, 6-8 inches of snow that fell on the desert (good luck Jacob-it's coming your way next...lol), hanging out with Alyssa, the internet at my house going out for a week. That one really killed me. I was going through internet withdrawals. I was all scratching myself and convusling. Looks like nothing went completely insane though, glad to know that you guys held down the fort while I was gone.
Comment Corner
John 3:16: Firstly, thank you for being such a good person and visting me frequently. It's kinda been slow around here with pretty much Jacob and Steph posting on here, it's kinda nice to have a new face around here. May I trouble you to have your actual name?
Secondly, I am constantly amazed by Alyssa and how beautiful a person she is. I thank God for all that he has done for me and all that he continues to do for us. I thank God every night for what I have and for bringing her into my life. She is truly my better half.
Thirdly...my brother acutally picked up his first win the other night. I was so proud, I bragged about it to my co-workers...and even some of the customers....lol. I think that he will continue to excel on the mat and do things that I could only dream of doing, but there is one thing I really want to impart upon him. Through belief in the lord and yourself, anything is possible.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Well everyone, have a good day. Glorify God in all that you do.

God Bless
Korey

   Under the Sun
Song: Under the Sun by Sugar Ray

It's finally getting a little cold around here and it's kinda unsettling for me. I'm a child of the summer and I don't like cold weather too much. There's no snow around here, it's just cold and windy. So winter kind of sucks around here. I'm still waiting for you summer, so we can go frolic out in the hot sun and go to cool places like the beach and the ocean.

I'm gonna go hang out at Alyssa's house today. She had bought a movie night for two thing at her job, so we're gonna cook dinner and eat popcorn and watch movies together.

My brother started wrestling this week. I'm so proud of him and I'm kind of excited for him. I watched his first match the other day and I was really impressed by him. I think that if he commmitted to wrestling full time, he would be almost as awesome as his brother....hahaha.

Comment Corner:

Jacob: I wish, but I don't get any vacation time until April, because you only four days for every year you work. And ONE personal day. It's such bullshit, because to get your vacation time, you have to have at least 30 hours the previous week before you go on vacation.

John3:16: I guess someone had to work huh? We don't get a choice, but my supervisor was telling me yesterday that around 2 on Thursday it gets SUPER DEAD around the store. So it shouldn't be so bad there....but on Wednesday, it's gonna be nonstop until the final buzzer.

Vicki: That really means a lot to me. That's all I really wanted from you, your blessing. I just wanna be happy with Alyssa and have a good life with her. Thank you.
~~~~~~~~~
Alright everyone, have a good Friday. Glorify God in all that you do.
Busy Shcedules make for really bad relationships
Song: Sunday, by Sunday- by Saliva
This next week is literally gonna be hell. It's thanksgving week and the store is gonna be packed with people. A prospect that I'm not looking forward to, but I didn't tell my boss I'm off from school, so she scheduled me for the late shifts, thinking I had school....hahaha. Ain't I a stinker.
The little spat between me and Alyssa got resolved. We figured it out and decided that I will NEVER do that again, because I should never be ashamed of my own girlfriend. But here's another dilemma....we both work. We have really busy schedules the next week and we'll have virtually no time for each other. I'm kinda upset by this, because I wanna see her. I talk to her everyday, but it's actually getting to be with her that makes me happy. Maybe next semester I will have more time to be with her.
~~~~~~~~~~
Comment Corner:

Jacob- Yeah, it would be. Thanks for the pat on the back bro. 'Preciate it.
~~~~~~~~~~
Alrighty everyone, have a nice day. Glorify God in all that you do.
Over and Over
Song: Over and Over by Nelly ft. Tim McGraw
I royally messed up yesterday. I was hanging out with Alyssa and I did some stuff that I shouldn't have. Like relationship ending kind of stuff. And I'm sooooo sorry for it. Here's the deal.
We ate at the local pizza joint and I got kind of tired of being there, so we moved the party to the movie theater, where my favorite DDR machine is. We were playing and then I hear an oh so familiar voice...the one of my ex girlfriend. Seeing her put me into this protective mode and I wouldn't even kiss or hug Alyssa. Needless to say, it made her feel really left out and like I was ashamed of being with her, when all I was doing was being protective of myself and trying not to start any drama between my ex and Alyssa. But then, I guess I was so upset and frustrated that I snapped at Alyssa and yelled at her.
Like I said, I screwed up. And I'm still trying to make it better. Alyssa says it's ok, but I really know it's not. It's not ok to do that kind of stuff to anyone, especially your girlfriend. I don't want to lose her, because she is the person that I can't wait to see when we go on dates and she just makes me feel awesome, while I make her feel like crap sometimes....which isn't how it should be, but I let my stupid fears step in the way of our relationship. I really do love Alyssa with all my heart and I just want to be there for her and make her feel special.
~~~~~~~~
Comment Corner:

John3:16: I see your point, but sometimes I do get frustrated about the whole respect thing. I tend to turn the other cheek and suck it up, but there is such thing as common courtesy in this world. I'm a human, just like you. I have a life, family, friends...etc. I don't deserve being treated like a criminal or a little kid when I did nothing to deserve it in the first place....y'know?

I do give all my glory to the lord though. Like Proverbs 3 says " Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He will make your paths straight." It's my favorite passage and one of the greatest promises of the scripture. So I find that's something to base my life off of.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Alrighty everyone, I have some serious soul searching to do, but I promise that I will make it better. Have a good day everyone.
God Bless
Korey
1. O Lord, who shall sojourn in thy tent? Who shall dwell on thy holy hill? 2. He who walks blamelessly, and does what is right, and speaks truth from his heart; 3. who does not slander with his tongue, and does no evil to his friend, nor takes up a reproach against his neighbor; 4. in whose eyes a reprobate is despised, but who honors those who fear the Lord; who swears to his own hurt and does not change; 5. who does not put out his money at interest, and does not take a bribe against the innocent. He who does these things shall never be moved.
   She
Song: She by Green Day
I got an early start to my day today. I had to bring my sister to her school early because she had to help set up for a big pep rally at the school. They're playing their big division rivals in football today and how they do depends on if they can go to the playoffs or not. If they win, then they go for sure. If they lose, it's a toss up. It's kinda exciting to go to the game tonight, but I won't be there...have to work...-_-
This week hasn't been as long as I thought it would be, but isn't over yet. I still have two very long shifts to work this weekend and I'm not looking forward to them. 3 to 11 on Saturday and 10 am to 7pm on Sunday. Blech. If I didn't have no where else close to work, I would be having a better job where the hours aren't so schizophrenic. Let me tell you something about my job, you get no respect from some of your managers. I can't count the amount of times I've been doing my job and I get called to the front end, because they hadn't seen me in a while and they wanna make sure I'm not causing mayhem. One of my bosses really grates my last nerve, because she makes you bag for her when she gets on a register, no matter what you may be doing at the time, even if another manager told you to do another specfic job. It's like she's allergic to bagging or something. "Come here and do your job..." she's always saying. I really hope that things look up from here, cause she really works me over some times and I really don't care if I quit right now, because there are better jobs out there, just none that close.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Comment Corner

Jacob: Yeah it would be sweet huh? I'd think so. I really hope I get it....*crosses fingers and toes*.
~~~~~~~~~~~
Have a good one everyone. I'm outta here. Probably gonna try to recoup some of that lost sleep...*yawn*
God Bless
Korey
