   Stars
Oakies, guys, if I were to give this weekend a rating out of five stars, I would give it a 1. Why you ask? My reasons are as follows:

1.) The sweltering heat. It got into the 100's this weekend. My makeup was literally melting off. And I had to go outside and do WORK in it. Nope, not just a casual stroll, but actual WORK. It doesn't feel good to sweat like a pig...

2.) I had to roll out of bed at 7:00, when I've accustomed myself to staying up late, and do some driving with my dad and Missy. I'm not really complaining cause I like to drive and it's better to get up at 7 than 6,like on school days, but they are soooo distracting when you get into a car with them. It's hard to pay attention to the road while they're making wise-cracks about you're driving.

3.) Then, while we were still out driving, my dad wanted to go to a car show and I accidentally locked the car keys in the trunk! And my dad didn't have any spares on him. But it really wasn't my fault! I put the keys in my purse, and my dad usually asks for them but didn't, so I forgot they were in there. Then Missy said something about panhandlers asking for money and wanted to put her purse in the trunk. I didn't want people asking me for money either, so I put mine in with hers and closed the trunk. Whoops. My dad realized he needed to put something in the trunk too and asked me to open it for him. Then I realized. My dad was so pissed off. We had to walk the car show once in the open sun, walk 4 or 5 blocks to mom's work place, get her car keys, drive the whole way home, get the spare key, and drive back up. Then we had to walk the car show again because dad was so pissed of the first time, he couldn't "appreciate it". By the time we left, Missy had a sunburn. No surprise. She wore spaghetti straps.

4.) Sunday, we found out that someone hit Krissy's car. She didn't know because the composite door pops back out so it leaves no dings. But Kelly tried rolling down the passenger side window, and it was kinda stiff. It was hard to open the door too. When Kelly tried to roll the window back up, it got harder and harder, and finally the window shattered. I'm just glad they're alright. Dad flew off the handle about it. He was so pissed. She's supposed to file an accident report today. Now she has no way to get to work because the car's going to be in the shop for at least a week. Maybe her bf will let her use one of his cars? One can only hope.

5.) For the past 4 or 5 days, I've been having these shooting pains in my head and they still haven't gone away. It's always in this one spot on top of my head. One time it was so bad I couldn't see and my eyes teared up. It only happens when I bend over or get up from laying on my stomach. Wierd? Maybe I've been playing too much 'Riven- The Sequel to Myst' and 'Legend of Manna'? But they're so fun! Anyone who likes very realistic graphics and out of this world plots and puzzles should play 'Riven' or 'Myst'. Dumiel, this is your kinda game. Brain exercises, here we come!

Oakies, now that that's out of the way, there are some good things that have happened this summer. My story is taking a lot of hits and comments, I'm taking DUI Defensive Driving soon with Ellen, and VBS starts today. That means some service hours for school out of the way, plus I get to hang out with my very good buddies Samantha and Thomas. I'm so excited about my story! It's called 'Blood Moon, Wolf Moon'. If you wanna check it out, go to writing.com. My username is the same as here. As far as I know, you have to be a member to view. I'm not sure how to be a guest... But they don't require a lot of info to sign up, and it's free. Happy Haunting!
(I'm not sure why I said that, but oakies. Hmmm... 'oakies' seems to be my word for the day...)
Bye!

   Sooo how was the trip?
My vacation stank royaly. Friday rolled around and we didn't go anywhere because noone had planned anything. Then daddy got mad... He started suggesting going to see the Menonites. Who wants to see the Menonites? It's like saying, 'Let's go gawk at the people in funny clothes!' So he got even more pissed off. Finally, I was stuck at home, planning out our vacation with no help from anyone. They're so lazy! So I scheduled a couple of museums that would only last a day. I spent all day getting directions from one place to another and ticket info and time schedulings and places to eat; the works. No thank you from anyone.
The next day, they drug their feet like usual so we got out to a late start. We missed our turn off for the first museum but some how managed to find our way there. The museum was great. But then mom started to get a headache so we had to get her something to eat.
Then we tried to get to the second museum. We were so lost. O_o T_T Dad was yelling and trying to make us drive the wrong way down a one way street. Mom pulled over and let him drive and he kept racing the engine because he was mad. When we finally got to the museum, we had to pay to park. It turned out to be a waste of $32 because it was so crowded, we couldn't do anything. We walked straight in and straight out. By that time, mom's headache was much worse so we had to stop at an Arbys and then Kroger for some Tylonol. I slept the three hour drive home. And after all the work I did, trying to schedule the museums THEY wanted to go to, that THEY didn't bother to help with, Missy had the gaul and the audacity to to say the reason the day went bad was MY fault! I didn't see HER breaking her neck to do anything. She just sat around like a lump!
*seeths with anger for a moment*
But anyways, I went to the dentist yesterday. Man that lady was rough on my teeth. She made my gums bleed. It started up again last night when I tried to brush my teeth. OUCH! *_* T<>T

   Day of Reckoning
Today's the day! If you read my last post, you know what I'm talking about. Tomorrow we're going on vacation, but we still don't know where we're going. Thats CRAZY!!!! And stupid. And it's only going to last ONE single solitary day. That's even more crazy! You call that a vacation? That is NOT a vacation. My dad's too afraid that something will happen to my grandparents while we're away to stay overnight anywhere. It's like he's on a leash. I swear, it's not like they don't have a phone, for crying out loud! There is such a thing as 911 if there really is an emergency. Which there won't be. Because there never is. Because my dad worries too much. I don't mean to sound callous and uncaring (I love my grandparents to death and I would die if something happened to them), but he inconveniences himself and others for the sake of his worrying. I can tell him I locked their door behind me and he won't believe me. He'll go back and find the door locked, just as I left it and mumble, "Better safe than sorry..."

Anyways, we're supposed to be getting a new stove because our old one burned out. We're living off of whatever we can put in the toaster oven or microwave for now. ^_^ We've had that thing for as long as I can remember. But the new one looks pretty snazzy.
Ohhhhh, the ants are marching two by two hurrah, hurrah...
And the summer infestation begins again on the battlefront. They're everywhere. In the kitchen, in the bedrooms and bathrooms... And of course, daddy's not-so-secret candy stash. Hoorray for secret candy stashes!
TTFN!

   Sooo Excited!
I can't wait until Thursday! I'm getting confirmed. Actually, I'm kinda scared. I'm not sure why. Maybe it's because I'm gonna be put on the spot. There's only four of us after all. And the Archbishop is going to ask us questions in front of the whole congregation! Scarryyyyyy... T_T *cry* I don't wanna hafta answer questions... My very awesome bestest of best friends Hannah is going to be my sponsor. That is, if she shows up. I've been trying to get a hold of her but she's never home. Waaaaaahhh! T_T I hope she's not on vacation.:p Well, I hafta go and research my saint so I'm prepared for the Archbishop.
Tootles!

   Sooooooo... It's been a while.
Long time no see? I guess that's kinda an understatement... Sorry about that. School was just really piling up. But now summer is here! YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!! That means I can keep everyone posted. I'm doing a whole heckofalot this summer. I am:

1.) Getting my liscence (hopefully)
2.) Reading 'The Bell Jar' for school (No AP this year)
3.) Going to Heather's party today for Kristin's surprise going away bash
4.) Maybe taking a DUI defensive driving course so my car insurance isn't so expensive :p My grandpa bought an old, classic Mercedes that he's been fixing up. He says he wants to give it to me, but that thing is his pride and joy. I don't want to take it away from him... The only problem with it right now is that the gas petal is kinda hard. You just about have to put it to the floor to pick up any speed...
5.) Taking voice training lessons (when I get around to calling the guy...)
6.) Losing some weight (I gained a bit during the last month of school)
7.) Actually going on a mini VACATION. (I haven't been on one in almoast 5 years! That's crazy!)
8.) Getting confirmed on June 1st along with Bradley, Thomas, and Matt. I was the only girl in the class. T_T Actually, it wasn't that bad. All three of them are kinda cute, and I get to see into the minds of boys when they hold conversations during class. :p (They don't know it, but sometimes boys can be pretty complicated... And hard to read...)
9.) And, last but not least, I am posting a novel I'm writing on the Internet! (YAY Internet!) And if it's good enough, I might be able to get it published!

So as you see, I will be doing a few things of minor importance this summer... Ah, who am I kidding! But I will try to update as much as possible. Until next time!
