Oakies, guys, if I were to give this weekend a rating out of five stars, I would give it a 1. Why you ask? My reasons are as follows:

1.) The sweltering heat. It got into the 100's this weekend. My makeup was literally melting off. And I had to go outside and do WORK in it. Nope, not just a casual stroll, but actual WORK. It doesn't feel good to sweat like a pig...

2.) I had to roll out of bed at 7:00, when I've accustomed myself to staying up late, and do some driving with my dad and Missy. I'm not really complaining cause I like to drive and it's better to get up at 7 than 6,like on school days, but they are soooo distracting when you get into a car with them. It's hard to pay attention to the road while they're making wise-cracks about you're driving.

3.) Then, while we were still out driving, my dad wanted to go to a car show and I accidentally locked the car keys in the trunk! And my dad didn't have any spares on him. But it really wasn't my fault! I put the keys in my purse, and my dad usually asks for them but didn't, so I forgot they were in there. Then Missy said something about panhandlers asking for money and wanted to put her purse in the trunk. I didn't want people asking me for money either, so I put mine in with hers and closed the trunk. Whoops. My dad realized he needed to put something in the trunk too and asked me to open it for him. Then I realized. My dad was so pissed off. We had to walk the car show once in the open sun, walk 4 or 5 blocks to mom's work place, get her car keys, drive the whole way home, get the spare key, and drive back up. Then we had to walk the car show again because dad was so pissed of the first time, he couldn't "appreciate it". By the time we left, Missy had a sunburn. No surprise. She wore spaghetti straps.

4.) Sunday, we found out that someone hit Krissy's car. She didn't know because the composite door pops back out so it leaves no dings. But Kelly tried rolling down the passenger side window, and it was kinda stiff. It was hard to open the door too. When Kelly tried to roll the window back up, it got harder and harder, and finally the window shattered. I'm just glad they're alright. Dad flew off the handle about it. He was so pissed. She's supposed to file an accident report today. Now she has no way to get to work because the car's going to be in the shop for at least a week. Maybe her bf will let her use one of his cars? One can only hope.

5.) For the past 4 or 5 days, I've been having these shooting pains in my head and they still haven't gone away. It's always in this one spot on top of my head. One time it was so bad I couldn't see and my eyes teared up. It only happens when I bend over or get up from laying on my stomach. Wierd? Maybe I've been playing too much 'Riven- The Sequel to Myst' and 'Legend of Manna'? But they're so fun! Anyone who likes very realistic graphics and out of this world plots and puzzles should play 'Riven' or 'Myst'. Dumiel, this is your kinda game. Brain exercises, here we come!

Oakies, now that that's out of the way, there are some good things that have happened this summer. My story is taking a lot of hits and comments, I'm taking DUI Defensive Driving soon with Ellen, and VBS starts today. That means some service hours for school out of the way, plus I get to hang out with my very good buddies Samantha and Thomas. I'm so excited about my story! It's called 'Blood Moon, Wolf Moon'. If you wanna check it out, go to writing.com. My username is the same as here. As far as I know, you have to be a member to view. I'm not sure how to be a guest... But they don't require a lot of info to sign up, and it's free. Happy Haunting!
(I'm not sure why I said that, but oakies. Hmmm... 'oakies' seems to be my word for the day...)
Bye!
