I'm back, if only briefly. ^_^
Jeez Louis! I can't believe that it has been three weeks since I have last posted. I'm sooo sorry everybody! :(

My new job is wonderful despite all the mistakes I have made (I get scolded at least weekly, but it is done kindly and I think one of the docs is a bit exasperated with me :P). Other then that it is a great job and keeps me quite busy. I never knew I could get so tired from just sitting at a desk all day. Some days I am so tired that I can't even check my e-mail (horror of horrors :O ).

I hope everybody is doing well now that majority of us are in school. Myself excluded, I decided to take the semester or maybe the year off. After six years of college I am ready for a bit of break. However, I do miss it. Call me crazy but I miss reading my textbook, I miss learning. I do however do not miss the tests (that was my least favorite part of learning). I am thinking of asking my employer if there is a textbook that I could read to learn more about women’s health care. My mom has some books on pregnancies, but there is so much more out there. Sorry if I am confusing you; I am a health science major you know. ^_^

Okay, enough of that subject. Now that I have completely confused you, a subject that you all understand....ART! Sadly, I have not much to offer there. My sketchbook lies void of any new sketches. I hope that I will soon get sketching again. I have seen some pictures that I would love to try my hand at, now just to get motivated. ^_^

Well, this post has stretched on for quite long enough. I hope everybody has a lovely Labor Day. ^_^

Psalms 62:1-2 - My soul finds rest in God alone; my salvation comes from him. He alone is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will never be shaken.

   Happy, happy, joy, joy!!!
Ever notice how we say the same things that we did as kids even when they go out of style. These little cliché just become part of our everyday speech and nothing anyone says will make us stop using them. "Happy, happy, joy, joy" is one of those saying that was popular when I was in middle school, which was forever ago! And when ever I am extremely happy it leaks out.

So why am I so happy you might ask? I have a job!!!! Yes, after over a month of being jobless I am now employed. Yay!!! ^_^ I am working as an receptionist in an OB/GYN office (if you don't know what that is, ask your mom) and so far I love it. It is very different from the type of work that I usually do, but that is okay, it was time for a change. And the great thing about this job is that it won't stress my poor shoulder as much, which of course make all my doctors and physical therapists happy. The only down fall is now that I am employed I will be on the Otaku less. I will try to get on when I can, but I have no idea how often that will be. :(

Speaking of the Otaku, I have more art up. There are a few pieces that I have posted through out the month and then there is a new one that I just posted. You will notice that the last few are from SDK. It is such an awesome manga!!! I love it! ^_^ I don't know what it is, but I really like the samurai type of manga the best. I blame my dad for this; cause according to my mom, my dad would have me watch kung-fu movies with him when I was a baby. That can be the only reason. LOL Oh, you might notice that my art has changed just a bit again and for some reason, which is beyond my comprehension, I have been drawing the characters much like they look in the manga. *shrug* Well, sorta. They still have a bit of realism to them. Just enjoy them for what they are, 'kay?!

Well, this comes to the end of what I have to say for today. Tomorrow I'm going to a baseball game, so I should get some sleep. *yawn*

   Lazy, who me?
Oh my goodness!!! I have not posted in the longest time. Well, what can I say, I was being lazy and procrastinating. :P I do both well, so . . . well, you get the picture.

Let's see. . . . It has actually been a busy month. I sorta have a job now, I am just waiting for the final paperwork to go through, which is a pain in the butt! Wouldn't you know it, the only thing that is holding everything up is my shoulder! I had to take a health examination because I will be working for the Children's Hospital (which is so cool!), but I had to disclose any conditions and my bum shoulder is the culprit. I had to get medical records from my doctor on Wednesday and now they are sending me to a workman's comp doctor to make sure I can work. ARG! If they would just listen to me, but no lawsuits are all over the place these days, so no one takes any chances anymore. Soo after Monday I pray I will have a job. I really, really pray because I just turned down another interview with another company.

All right, I am done complaining. ^_^

I have been working alot on my art since I have a lot of time on my hands. But not the type of art you all are thinking of. Lately drawing has not been very productive. I just can't seem to draw anything that I think is good. And you know what they say . . . . “You are your own worst enemy.” ^_^ But never fear there are some new pieces up. Actually, they have been up for a few weeks now, but haven't really been noticed. Any ideas of why this might be? Is it because I draw not well-known manga or my style or don't color? I'm all ears to why I don't see much response on my art.

Okay, I bet you are all wondering, if I haven't been drawing much, "What art are you doing?" Well, that is easy . . . My photography! ^_^ I have been hiking a bunch and taking lots and lots of picture. But I have learned that I have to be careful because of the extreme heat that CO is experiencing. Let's just say that I almost landing in the ER the other day from heat stroke. I was very close to passing out. And may I say that there is a GOD and he does hear prayers cause otherwise . . .

Well, I think that is all for now. Also this post is getting a wee bit long, so I will have to save the rest for later. Therefore, I will sign off. If you have a minute take a look at my art and if you would like to checkout out my photography, Click here to check it out.

   Has anyone seen the
Seriously, have you seen him cause he forgot me! It has been yet another sleepless night of insomnia. This is getting so old. :P One or two nights, I can understand, but this is my third one! The last time I had this much insomnia was two years ago when I got Fifth's Disease from my sister and the doctors put me on high prednisone. So hopefully *fingers crossed* this will be my last episode. I don't think I could handle being an insomniac - I get cranky! *_*

Well, yesterday I unpack almost all day. And my room looks like a tornado went through it! I have NEVER had a neat room, just my personality. The rest of the house can be spotless, but once you hit my bedroom - Watch out! So my room has never been neat, it is more like chaos organization. As long as there was a pathway and I knew where everything was - I was good. But now....the process of unpacking was left my room in a disaster. I think I might need disaster relief! JK LOL But seriously it is that bad. But it will get better, I think. The calm comes after the storm, right?! And to add a twist to the whole moving and unpacking process, my dad brought up the possibility of my having to move again in a few weeks if I were to find a job in Denver. Jeez dad, I just got here, let's worry about that latter.

In all this commotion of moving you think I have had no time to draw, right? Wrong! I have been working on some pieces. Which brings me to ponder....why can't one draw great pieces all the time? Why is it that one has to draw several pieces of trash before they get a great one? Anyone know the answer? All I know is I will get on a roll and polish off several pieces and then out of the blue I can't draw a decent picture. But then I get back on track and pull off some more beautiful pieces. Weird or normal? So anyway....I have two pieces almost finished and hope to have them up sometime this week. Or at least a rough copy of them (I might try my hand at Photoshop *gasp*).

Well, I should either try to sleep or go do something.

   I made it!
Well, I made it to Colorado, more or less. The move went well and without any mishaps. Which surprises me cause about 3 hours into the trip (12 hrs trip) my brother found a nail in one if my tires. This was not good, but very typical for me. Since the tire wasn't going flat yet, we decided to continue driving until the tire went and would then deal with it at that time. Well, wouldn't you know it the tire lasted the whole trip. YAY!

So now I am down in Colorado and my sister already gave me her cold. So I'm a bit sick. (That was random. ^_^)

Now, I just have to unpack. Pack and unpack isn't fun. Wouldn't it be nice if all our stuff just telepathically or something of that sort move to our new house or apt.? Then we wouldn't have to deal with all those boxes. I have soooo many and how we got them all in my brother's truck (he has a small truck) and my car I will never know. My parents were even impressed that we fit all my stuff.

Well, that is all I have time to say for now. I will post more when my dad hooks up the wireless for my computer. I am on his computer now. :P

JFYI - If you have posted in the last few days I will try and make it to your account, but I make no guarantees. Also, if I don't comment it doesn't mean that I have not read your post, I just don't know what to say. ^_^
