   Hyper, hyper, hyper
Be forewarned this is a long post. ^_^

Man, oh man am I hyper! I couldn't sleep even if I wanted to. (I don't think the two cans of Diet Mt. Dew helped either. ^_^) So here it is 4:30 a.m., and I am wide awake. *_* Why do these things always happen to me? Okay, I know it was my fault for drinking all that caffeine, but it usually doesn't have this type of effect on me. I use to be able to drink a can and then go straight to sleep. Maybe I am showing my age. *shudder* LOL The bad thing about all this is that I have the lights on in the house all night and that means a much larger electric bill. *ouch* This months bill is going to hurt the pocket book.

Let see what else is going on . . . Well, I went to the zoo again on Saturday. This time I went to another zoo that is near by. I was soo much fun! Again, all the animals were in cages. Therefore, I had to deal with that wee problem while taking photos, but learned how to deal with it. I got some amazing shots. YAY! But you know with all great days there has to be at least one disaster and I had mine. So here is the short version of what happened . . . .

I have many cameras and my favorite is a Canon A-1. With this camera I can change out the lens to give me varying focal ranges. And I don't know how it happened but some how my telephoto lens disconnected itself from the body of the camera and fell on the cement. AHHHHHH! This is so not good! The lens itself is worth $500 or more and fixing the lens is just as expensive. Luckily, I did two good things; first, I had a sky filter on the lens (which was shattered when I picked up the lens) and second, I have an insurance policy on all my cameras. Between the two I should be okay and not have to dish out too much money to fix my lens.-------Lesson learned take out an insurance policy on your expensive equipment.

Shifting gears . . . . .

Only ten more days till I move. Man this month is going by fast. So much to do and so little time. I do have today off so I am hoping to get some work done. I was actually supposed to work today, but some of my co-workers found out that I would be over 60 hrs. this week, which is a huge no-no, and offered to cover my shift today. So this will my last day off until I move. (No, I am not trying to kill myself; it just looks that way. ^_^ I just have a hard time saying "no" and I really like helping out as much as I can.)

Since I am up, I'm going to try to get up another piece. This time it is Kyo from Fruits Baskets drawn in my style. Yes, I know that it doesn't look at all like him. I said my style, didn't I? Just enjoy it for what it is. I was going to try and have him wear a "Cats" t-shirt (Kyo - cat zodiac, get it? LOL), but the promo was just too hard for me to draw. *shrug* So you get what you get. Enjoy!

I do believe that this post is long enough, so for those of you that read it all the way through. Congrats! ;P

Till next time!

Zephaniah 3:5 - The LORD within her is righteous; he does no wrong. Morning by morning he dispenses his justice, and every new day he does not fail, yet the unrighteous know no shame.

You would think I would learn....
Dag nab it! You would think I would learn to stay away from sharp objects at work, but NOOOooo, not me. I have to go and slice my finger on the food processor. Long story, short; I was slicing carrots using the food processor (it wasn't working), the carrot slipped, and I sliced my finger instead. OUCH!!!! I think I nicked a vein cause the stupid thing bleed all night. I still don't know if I need stitches. (No! It is not obvious!) So, I decided that if it is still bleeding in the morning . . . I would then go to the doctor. And you know what the worse part is . . . I cut my drawing hand this time and the cut is exactly where I rest my pencil. Man, I wanted to draw today. Well, serves me right. :P Although now my co-workers are threatening to ban me from the kitchen. LOL Might be a good idea with my track record. ^.^

Other then that my life is boring!! I am sooo bored!!! I should be packing, but I'm not. I am such a procrastinator. ^_^

Oh, I got another art piece up. This time I drew Mingchen from one of my favorite manga, "Chronicles of the Cursed Sword." I drew him in my style and I rather like how he turned out. ^_^ Now I am working on Kyo from Fruits Basket also in my style. And as soon as my poor finger is healed I will finish it and post it. :)

Hosea 6:3 - Let us acknowledge the LORD; let us press on to acknowledge him. As surely as the sun rises, he will appear; he will come to us like the winter rains, like the spring rains that water the earth."

Lions, tigers, and bears, oh my!
Okay, I didn't see any lions, but I did see tigers and bears. In case you didn't figure it out . . . I went to the zoo today! It was a small zoo, but I had fun. The zoo is still a bit dated because alot of the animals were still in cages. It was sad to see them caged up, but I was able to get alot closer to some species that I would otherwise not see up close. I was literally only 4 feet from a tiger - which was sooo cool. And I was only two inches from this African rodent - which was sooo cute. I want one!!! Just kidding I know better. ;p So that was the zoo.

I also finally got to see X-men 3. I am with every one else who has seen it. It was a bit of a let down. It's like a good book with a terrible ending. They build you up and then crash!!! Let down. Don't get me wrong, there were some good parts; Archangel was a hottie and there were some great lines, but it just seemed to be a bit dark. I really didn't like that Jean became evil. I mean even in the comics Phoenix was on the good side. *sigh* I guess not all trilogies can be awesome from beginning to end. Okay, I am done.

I also wanted to let anyone who is interested know that I opened an account at diviantArt. link . I am using it to show my photography. I have well over a thousand pictures so I will be plenty busy. But it will be fun. ^_^ I haven't had this much fun with my photography for quite some time.

Well, that is all for now.

Tell the little men in my head to stop....
My head is pounding at the moment, so I don't know how long this post is going to be.

First order of the day . . . I got my art up!!! *would dance around the room if the head wasn't hurting* Six new pictures for you all to enjoy. ^_^ And it only took more then a week to get them up. Procrastinating, I know it well and I am good at it. :) I am really happy with all the pieces, yes there are some mistakes in them, but as a whole I think I have really accomplished something. You probably noticed that I'm trying a new style. I like the look of realism, so I thought I would try it out. I have no idea what I am doing! Learning is half the challenge and fun. ^_^

Other then that, my life is relatively BORING! Today is my first day off in 17 days (yes, I worked 17 days straight!), so I am taking it easy. I was going to go to the zoo and a movie, but it is suppose to rain today. It would have been fine if I was not a photographer, but I am. So due to possible storms I'm going to go Monday. It is suppose to be more clear that day, so hopefully *fingers crossed* it will and I can get some awesome shots.

Shifting gears . . .

Only three more weeks and I will be back in Colorado!!! Eek! I haven't packed that much. I should probably get my butt in gear, huh?! I hate packing. :p Why can't we just telepathically transport all our belongings from place to place. It would be so much easier.

Now finding a job, that would be the other problem. I pray I can find a decent job as soon as I get back. MY parents are confident that I will, but I am still anxious about it. To leave a good job....I yi yi, SCARRY!

Well, I can't think of anything else. And I think my headache might be turning into a optic migraine. I'm going to go and nurse my poor head, so I'll talk to you all later.

1 Cor. 13:12 - Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.

   Quite while ahead
What a weekend! You would think I would have taken the hint on Saturday, but nope. I need to be whacked by a 2x4.

Let me clarify what I mean . . . On Saturday, I sliced my finger with a dull knife at work. Just because the knife can't cut a thing doesn't mean that it doesn't cut fingers!! Anyway, I must have nicked a vein because the darn thing seeped for the rest of the night. Nothing life threatening, just enough to soak 4 band-aids. o_0 So you see I should of took the hint and stopped right there. But nooo, not me. Today I had to burn myself with hot oil (which hurts like the dickens!), again nothing serious. I should have known something like this would happen. It has been several months since my last cooking injury, it was bound to happen sooner or later. ^_^ Hopefully I will be set for the next few months again. *fingers crossed*

That was just the cooking portion of the weekend, on Sunday I got bruises from my flip-flops!!! Yes, it can happen. I was walking with some of the people I take care of and one of them stepped on my flip-flops twice. Add Newton’s third law into the equation and you get some nice bruises from the straps. Ouch!!

Well, that was the most exciting part of my weekend. Hopefully I got my quota of injuries in and will be injury free for a while. Of course, I am a bit of a klutz, so who knows. I am always finding new bruises, but how I got them . . beats me. *shrug* I have been told that I am just falling apart. LOL

Well, I was going to write more, but I can't remember what it was. So I guess that is it for tonight. I hope to get some more work up in the next few days. I let you all know when it is up. :)

Until then . . . ~God Bless!

   Chocolate and computers
Guess what they don't go together!! Here I was just sitting here trying to think of a subject and I look down at my key pad and there was a chocolate chip (had been eating them earlier) on my computer, melting! I yi yi . . . I should know better, but you know what I don't have the foggiest idea how it got there! *scratches head* Well, at least I found it before I did any damage to computer. I can only image what my father would say if I had to ask him how to clean my keyboard. He would be horrified!!! Being that he is a computer programmer and taught his kids better.

LOL Well, that was quite a bunny trail. To tell you the truth, there is no purpose to this post. I'M BORED!!!! Here it is almost 3am, I don’t what to go to bed, and I am not in a drawing mode either. I think I finished another piece, but I don't know . . . hmm . . . Okay next!!! Or maybe I should clear some of my work off the floor first. Now there is a concept. :) Good thing my roommate is on vacation cause he would be having a fit!!! He is such a neat freak and well, I'm not.

In other news, it has been raining off and on for the last two days, and it has been hot and humid. Ick!! I hate it! I keep on telling the rain to go to Colorado, but it just won't listen to me. Sorry guys, I tried. ^_^ LOL

I think that is it for now, if I get bored again...well, you'll hear from me. TTYL ~God Bless!

   It worked!!!!
Yay!!! I finally got my last picture to post, took me long enough. I had to e-mail tech support, so I guess they fixed whatever problem that there was cause I never heard back from them.

MY MUSE IS BACK!!!! Expect to see more pictures; I am polishing off about one picture a day. This is sooo cool! I love it when I finally get something. *_* Don't know what I finally get, but something clicked. :P

   Who's on First?
Costello: Who's on first?
Abbott: Yes.
Costello: I mean the fellow's name.
Abbott: Who.
Costello: The guy on first.
Abbott: Who.
Costello: The first baseman.
Abbott: Who.
Costello: The guy playing...
Abbott: Who is on first!
Costello: I'm asking you who's on first.
Abbott: That's the man's name.
Costello: That's who's name?
Abbott: Yes.
Costello: Well go ahead and tell me.
Abbott: That's it.
Costello: That's who?
Abbott: Yes.

Just thought I would give you guys a bit of Abbott and Costello. For all you young ones ^_^, these guys were a comedy duo from the 1930s to the 1950s. They started in radio and transferred to television. They are so funny!!! Their comedy routine consists of both physical comedy and word plays. I highly recommend their movies. ^_^

Okay, there is your history lesson for today. Sorry about the random lecture, family trait (the ability to remember odd facts :P). My brothers, sisters, and I get them all the time from my dad. They are just as random. LOL

Anyway, there is a point to this post. I have new art up!!!! *dances around the room* I had six new pieces, BUT I accidentally deleted one *slaps forehead* while I was editing an error on it and now I am having problems resubmitting it *grumble-"stupid computer"*. I will keep on trying to repost it though. In the mean time, enjoy the other five. ^_^

Shinjite - I finished your request. Yay me! I didn't color it though, but feel free to color it yourself. I hope you like it.

That's all for now. TTYL ~God Bless!

   I don't know . . .
Good Morning! (my brother's greeting, so I thought I would use it. He says it no matter what time it is because it is always morning somewhere. ^_^)

Just thought I would let you all know that I survived finals and passed all my classes, which is a miracle. I average a 3.0 this semester. Not too shabby, if I do say so myself. I would have liked better, there is always next semester.

I am hard at work drawing some pictures or staring at them (staring at the paper doesn’t cause the image to magically appear, just like you can’t study by osmosis ^_^). As usual, the hands are driving me nuts. Ahhhhhh…. *pulls hair out* I can see it in my head, but getting it onto paper is another concept. I am also having some difficulties with proportions. *shungs* I will get it eventually, I hope.

Let's see, what else . . . . Oh, I got my hair cut uber short. It is not extremely short (just chin length), but lets just say that I haven't had it this short since I was eight, yep, eight. Geez, am I getting old. :S I am also in the process of packing. I am moving back to Colorado. Yay!!!! I have missed my family and my home so much this past year. It will be nice to be back. Now I just have to find a new job. Ick! :P

Well, that's it for now. I'll let ya all know when I get my art up.

On a side note . . . If you know Lone Werewolf go say hi to him. ^_^

   Quick Break
Hey everybody!

Thank you all for all the support that you have been giving these last few week. You would not beleive how much that it means to me. ^_^ *Group hug!!!*

Anyway, can't write my normal post because I am in the middle of studing. Tomorrow is medmicro. Lots of memorization!!! I have covered two chapters and am starting on the third and there are at least four more chapters after that. AHHHH!!!!! My final isn't till 9am, so I should be okay.
