Just Past Midnight

I've done no work today. I never looked in by backpack at all. I've been lazy all day. It's been great. I didn't wake up until 12:40 PM, so I've only been awake for nearly 12 hours. Sure there wasn't much to do, but at least it was relaxing. I've had time to come up with some developments in the manga I want to make. Maybe one day, I just might write some of this down. I need to find an artist too. I have a friend who may want to do it, but I'm not sure of his abilites. He's good, but I'm not sure about most of his work. Some of it has already been proven not to be his own. Plus, any of it that may be his doesn't seem good enough, and he says that he's not good with backgrounds. I'm still trying to figure out if I want it colored or black-and-white like most manga. Decisions, decisions, decisions. Well, no matter how hard these decisions are, they are still the ones I'd rather be doing than school. Hopefully I could do this stuff for a career. Then again, going on how long it takes me to actually start and the low amount of stuff I actually finish, I'm just not sure about this. Still, I've been lazy all day. I'm over at my mom's this weekend, and she is really easy going, so she pretty much allows me to actually rest since she knows that school really takes it out of me. Well, until the next post, bye.

Still More Quizzes

I've done this before, but I'll do it again. I see way too many quizzes that are for "girls only." I've only seen a couple for guys, but ones for girls are all over the place. What's up with that? Ahh, the Weekend

Man this has been a stressful week. I had three major papers due today. Luckily, unlike many of my classmates, I had already turned in two, so I just had one paper to worry about. Plus, my history class did a re-enactment of the Cuban missle crisis, so I had to get what I was going to say down yesterday, or technically really early this morning (around 12:30 to 1:30). I turned those all end. Now, I still have homework, but it's little stuff. I'm over at my mom's home this weekend. I love it here. It's much more peaceful that at my dad's home. When I got here today, as I come here most days after school, I took a nap. In fact, since school let out, I've taken about three naps. I've really been staying up late with school. Then again, it's not the late nights that bother me, it's the early mornings. Well, I'm awake, it's the weekend, next week is a four-day school week, and I'm going to really enjoy being lazy this weekend. All of reality is against my relaxation, but I don't care. If real life wants to find me so bad, let it. I'll just make it run back as fast as it can.

Well...

Last night, around midnight, I finished my homework early, so I went to ask my dad for $3 for a breakfast that one club I'm in is having. I had actually paid it earlier, but I wanted that $3 for lunch since it was my lunch money I used to pay it. Well, I didn't get the money, and he tried to teach me the guitar. That was strange, but I went along, especially since I had no idea how to play it. He taught me some cords and stuff, all of which I've probably forgotten. Still, it was kind of ok. Anyone Sick of College

I am, and I'm not even done being a high school senior. My dad asked me today if I have any college plans, as if my answer changed from yesterday. I said the smae thing I always do, "I don't know." It's not a lie either. He then asked an hour later, like that's enough time to actually change that answer. I'm getting sick and tired of my dad and my stepmom getting on my back, saying I'm not prepared for the real world, that I won't make it. I hate that. They have no faith in me. Sure, I have no idea what I will do, but it would be nice if they believed in me. My mom is much more supportive, but I live with my dad. I should move in over with my mom, her husband, and her stepson, but I just...I don't know why I can't but I just can't right now. The only college I've applied to that actually looks good sent me a letter saying that they didn't get everything I sent in. I have to go talk to my counselor tomorrow to see what this is about since she sent it in. Any other college that might actually look good is probably past the registration deadline. I just really hate all this crap. I don't really want to go to college. High school has pretty much burnt me out on places of education. It doesn't seem like something a valedictorian to say, but that's what this one is saying, or typing to be exact. I just want to be around comics, manga, anime, and stuff like that. My friend who doesn't live around here spent the night while I played his PS2 (I've discovered that .hack//infection is really fun). Well, he said that he overheard my dad and stepmom talking. He said that my stepmom said that I wasn't a good artist or writer. My dad said I was a good writer (I don't know what he said about the artist). As for the art, I know I'm not that good. I'd show you if any of it ever was approved (they should tell you why it isn't). As for writing, how on freakin earth would they know. They don't even read my work. That really bugged me. I am just really upset. Ever since my dad took me out of Tae Kwan Do after four years on November 2002, my stress reliever has been gone. Plus, I've gotten severely out of shape. My abs weren't in the best of shape then, but now they're awful. I would do sit-ups, but I keep hearing that they're not good for the back, and thanks to my heavy school backpack, my back is also awful. If anyone knows how to improve abs and back, please tell me. Well, I'm sure there's more I can rant about, but I should save some for later. Hopefully, next time I'll include some quizzes to lighten the mood. The good news (there actually is some) is that on my manga idea, I got a break through on the characters and plot. I think it's coming along. Now, I just need to find an artist and I can start on the script. One more thing. Real Life: the Game. They gave it a 9.6?! I give it a 3, maybe 5 tops.
