I have my 5-day school day next week, and then it's spring break. Then I have 8 weeks left of high school. I'm going to love leaving high school, but I really don't want to have to go to college. I feel incredibly unprepared (especially since I haven't even picked a college yet). I know, this is mainly the theme of my rants, but it's becoming more and more relevant. I won't mind getting a job if it's something I like. I absolutely detest the possibility of having to work somewhere that I would hate, like a fast food place or a grocery store. Three Day Weekend

With no school tomorrow, my weekend starts now. To address that blood drive I was talking about, I didn't give any. I kind of chickened out. Still, the person I know who actually gave blood said that it didn't hurt, so I might do it some later time.

Three day weekend. I love that sound.

I went to tutor some fifth graders in math today. I've done it about three times before, but there is usually three or four tutors. This time, just two. It was me and a girl in my class. There were eight fifth graders. No teacher. Take a guess how that went. I was never that rowdy as a fifth grader. Kids these days are, well, they've had too much caffeine.

Well, that's it for now. Oh yeah. One more time. Three day weekend.

No School Friday

Thursday is my last day this week. Yay. My friend will bring his PS2 over, and I'll get to play .hack.

Here's some news. There's a blood drive at my school. I'm thinking about giving blood. It would get me out of Biology, and I think it wouldn't bother me too much. I just hate needles. They make me nervous. I'm still thinking about it.

Saw a Movie

We've been studying the Cuban Missile Crisis in my 20th Centure History class. Our teacher suggested that we see this movie called "The Fog of War." It's a documentary on Robert McNamera (spelling?), who was the Sec. of State during the crisis and the Vietnam War. It won an Oscar. We missed the part of the crisis because the second part of the group was late, and I had the money for their tickets. All in all, it was ok.

Tuesday Morning

It's Tuesday morning. School starts in over an hour. I have about 10 weeks left of high school until summer, then it's al over. I'll be done with high school. I'm kind of worried. I'm glad I'll be out of school, but some problems are presented:
1 I should go to college, but I don't know where to go.
2 My parents are forcing me to get a job, and I hate them forcing me to do anything.
3 I have to give a valedictorian speech which I am constantly reminded to start writting.
4 Some more problems that I can't think of since it's 6:00 AM.

Sound fun? I've yet to think so. All I want to do is sleep late, buy comics, watch anime, eat food, and that's basically it. I don't mind getting a job. I just don't want some stupid job at McDonalds. I'd rather work at a video game or comic book store, but I don't have the time in the school year to get one.

Also (last complaint for now, I promise), I'm at my dad's this weekend. I get to see my friend here, and hopefully he'll bring his PS2. Still, my dad and stepmom have no idea what peace and quiet are. I don't mind a few chores, but they wake me up early after I've stayed up late online or playing games and they get on my case about being lazy all weekend long. I know they work hard, but it seems that they think school is easy compaired to their jobs, and with my classes, it's not. If they don't want me to ba lazy, it's their own freaken fault. They took me out of Tae Kwan Do over a year ago. I've gotten really out of shape since then, and I could have worked out on my own, but it's not the same without the people there to work with and to spar.

Well, I'd better stop now before I fill up an entire page. Until later.

I've tried to post something in my shoutbox, but it's not putting it up. I think that it may be doing the same to visitors because it's been a few days since the last post, and that was me. Any ideas of what is happening or how to fix it?

Monday

I stayed up until about two last night doing homework, and it turns out that most of it wasn't even taken up or due today. I got my report card today. It reads as:
English IV: 97
20th Century History: 101
Spanish 6: 95 (you'd think I'd know it, but no)
Biology: 88
Math Methods (think Calculus): 104

Not bad. It doesn't matter since the ranks are set, but that's basically all that's happened today.
