EASY LISTENING: Get Busy with Living or Get Busy with Dying by Fall Out Boy
READ UP ON IT: Smoke and Shadow by Tanya Huff

Yeah, gotta love Tony Foster in Tanya Huff's Smoke series. *grin* Shadowlord being gay made the whole thing at the end SO halarious. Huff really does a great job playing with words.

So how is everyone? I've just been hanging around in my jim-jams, dancing around a little, and reading (which is why I need to go to the library tonight, or I might go insane. I finished ALL the books I got outta the library, some of them thrice over)

ta!

   Another Random Post Before Bed
EASY LISTENING: Shiny Toy Guns
READ UP ON IT: Blood Books Vol.2 by Tanya Huff
VIDEO GAMIN': Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories

I'm killing time before I hit the sack. So where am I? On the computer, reading a book, talking to friends, and playing a gameboy. Yeah...I like to multi-task. Someday it's going to kill me...

Since I won't be on tomorrow (probably not, you never know what might happen) I'm posting tonight.

Anyway, how is everyone?

*hug*
Merry Christmas
Happy Pagan Holiday for you and yours
Happy New Year
(ah, what the hell, let's have one for the athiests as well): Have a Nice Day

   Fat Man's Comin'
EASY LISTENING: Young Love
READ UP ON IT: Local Paper

Merry Christmas Eve.
Not much's happening yet... Dad's going to Midnight Mass tonight (he extended the invitation, but I don't like going to church...) and we're doing the normal run-around. Breakfast and presents tomorrow morning, then Marianne's for dinner that night. *shrug*

I gotta practice my lines for Shakespeare. I've got some of them down, but I've got (vaguely) half the wedding monologue down. Ta.... then I need to memorize the cues...

Ha! Tech and Crew now need interviews for people wanting to join and "adult supervision" (Delise got all this happening). So what does crew do? They threaten to disban and let the actors do their own crew. I can't wait to see how this turns out...

How's everyone's day?

   I Feel Lost...
EASY LISTENING: Jackie Will Save Me by Shiny Toy Guns
READ UP ON IT: What's Freedom?

It doesn't feel like Christmas at all. Everyone I've talked to seems to be thinking the same thing. No matter how many carols I hear, no matter how many times I see a Santa, no matter how many trees, decorations, and well wishes I see and hear, it doesn't feel like Christmas is only two days away.
What is wrong?

I feel lost this year...

Two More Days, Seems Like More
EASY LISTENING: We Are Pilots by Shiny Toy Guns
READ UP ON IT: The Blonde Theory

My dad's currently upstairs wrapping presents so he doesn't have to do it tomorrow, and so we can stay longer over at Marianne's (we're going there tonight). It just doesn't feel like Christmas, at all. Not anymore. It has lost the feeling, the tradition. It's sad, really sad.

December went by too fast. Hell, this whole YEAR went by really fast. And this New Years, I can't host a party because of other plans my dad has. I'll probably just stay in the basement and watch movies. Hm... See? tradition is lost, and something has broken.

What are y'all doing for Christmas/New Year?

   Three More Days People!
EASY LISTENING: Dance Hall Drug by Boys Like Girls
READ UP ON IT: Obsidian Butterfly by Laurell K. Hamilton

=.= After today, I have to wait until Wednesday for the library to reopen, though I still can't wait for Christmas. This year is going to be BUSY! I have to configure shit, draw, write, plan, and be people-ized.

*sigh* Oh well, I'll be off doing whatever.

Well Wishes

"You are a Solid, Cast-iron, Ball-busting Bitch"
EASY LISTENING: Shiny Toy Guns
READ UP ON IT: Blue Moon by Laurell K. Hamilton

The quote is from Blue Moon, and the whole thing is: "'No wonder Richard's been having such a hard time finding a replacement [lupa] for you. You are a solid, cast-iron, ball-busting bitch' I looked at his smiling face. I think it was a compliment. Besides, truth was truth. I wasn't down here to win Miss Congeniality. I was down here to rescue Richard and to stay alive. Bitch was just about the right speed for that."
Long, eh?

Today starts off our winter break! Oh yeah! *does a little dance*

   Snow!
I want it to snow sooooo bad! I hate it when it rains in the winter (or in this case late fall) and it doesn't snow! It's just not right!
Oki will agree with me...I think...

11 More Days (and I still can't wait for the freedom...)
EASY LISTENING: Heels Over Head by Boys Like Girls
READ UP ON IT: Many Bloody Returns (by many authors...it's one of those books with stories inside)

Our class ring ceremony was Thursday and I had rehearsal all this week until 6pm, so I've been living at the school basically. And after the ring ceremony, they told us to put the ring on our right hand, which feels awkward to me, so I stuck it on my left. Lucifer thought this was halarious, because I'm now "married to the school." Oh well...
Eric is spazing about "Girl in the Mirror" and "Surviving Lunch" because we only have three more rehearsals until the big day (Thursday...surprise there). He's also spazing because none of crew would stay after and help, so us extras have to be crew. Since I'm joining up with the normal drama backstage crew for the musical (The Music Man), Eric decided that I should get some experience before being thrown to the lions (Morgan and Ashley). *shrug* I'm just glad to help.

So how was everyone's week? Seems like next week is going to be either the shortest week in history, or the longest. *smile* I've got Shakespeare and Creative Writing to keep me interested, while Survey and APUS and Algebra2 are just there for the academics (as always).

**WARNING: MOONLIGHT SPOILER ALERT**
(just had to warn you)

Okay, so Corlene is REALLY ticking me off. First she steals Beth away and wants to raise her as her own (...) THEN she comes back after being burned in the fire, and she's HUMAN! Just to steal away Mick's heart again, since she's sensitive to his feelings of love now. AND that bitch got staked by Beth, and was DIEING, which is a good thing, except she DIDN'T DIE! The "infection" somehow sparked her vamprisim, and she was Turned by her own accord, since she doesn't want Mick to leave her. THEN when Mick is actually having some fun in New York (well, after all that spaztic stuff with Josef, who made me laugh when he exclaimed: "Someone tried to wack me! I want to find them. I can't believe someone tried to wack me!" when he almost died and waited for Mick in Mick's office), Corlene senses that his heart is lost to her, and she BOLTS TO NEW YORK! To break apart Beth and Mick, which was what she wanted to do in the first place. Possessive little bitch. Grrrr, that stake should have went right through your heart, but NOOOOOOO, it had to only puncture a LUNG and recharge your damn vamprisim!

**END OF SPOILER. SORRY FOR THE RANT**
she was just getting on my last nerve.

*sigh* It's just been a tiring (yet fun and interesting) week. I walked up to get my ring dressed in The Pants (the ones that have all that crap on them...there's more crap on them now than when I took that picture and posted it on DeviantArt) and a huge sweater. Since the whole thing was "semi-formal/casual" and I stayed after anyway and had no TIME to change (though I didn't care either way), I just wore what I wore, and lugged around my bookbag. *smile* Then Lucifer and I got into a false argument about walking on stage in a defensive position or an agressive one. Then again, that stage was normal ground for me. I felt comfort in that auditorium. Hell, I love just walking across the stage. That's why I took no prisoners when I walked across it to get my ring (teehee, cliche lines I've heard all night...I love finding them in TV and movies, then saying EXACTLY what the person's going to say next...I did that with Josif on Moonlight, though I love how he talks away from someone, then turns to them when he's done talking)

Soooooooooooo, umm, good night and all that fancy stuff. *hug* Happy Whatever 'kay? Oh, and for the athiests: Have a Nice Day.

20 More Days and a Snowy One at That
EASY LISTENING: Middle of Nowhere by Hot Hot Heat
READ UP ON IT: Walden and Civil Disobedience by Henry David Thoreau

We got out early today because of snow. *wide grin* Our principal, after handing over the news, waited a minute before talking again, so that we could go wild.

Oooo, new poem (and I think some of ya might like it). It's a cliche poem surrounding the cliche of a knight in shining armor riding off on a white stallion to save the damsel in distress from the fire-breathing dragon:

"Damsel in Disappointment"

My knight in shining armor
That you need to oil a little more,
I could hear you riding over
When you hadn’t even gotten a mile away
And as you took your grand time
With all that armor, the fire-breathing dragon
Decided it was bored, and marched off,
No longer wanting to wait for neither you
Nor your white horse, shining armor and all.
And let me remind you, I was here for hours
Before I started to hear that god-forsaken armor
Clanking and banging to deliver you, knight,
To save me from the now-nonexistent dragon.
You’d better have a good excuse ready
Or I’ll take that white stallion, and ride off
Into that sunset, leaving you alone to
Think over why I left you sitting on your
Rump, getting grass stains on that
Worthless tin contraption you fancy to be armor.

And if any of you read all that, I would love feedback (it's also going onto my deviantart account probably tomorrow during lunch: okamisunshine.deviantart.com)

So how was everyone's Wednesday? I feel like such a child! And it's WONDERFUL!
