   Post-Valentine's Day and BOOKS!
EASY LISTENING: Brown Eyed Girl by Van Morrison
READ UP ON IT: The Dream-Hunter by Sherrilyn Kenyon

I read Working for the Devil by Lilith Saintcrow yesterday and I CRIED when I finished it. Well, I yelled "NO!" then cried. It was midnight when I finished it, so my dad woke up, knocked on my door, and told me to go to bed.

So now I'm reading The Dream-Hunter. The banter is halarious:
Arikos: “Can you forgive me for my behavior? Please.”
Megeara: “I think I can, but only if you promise to never do something like that again.”
Arikos: “I swear it on Solin’s life.”
Solin: “Uh, excuse me?”
Arikos: “I would, but there's truly no excuse for you.”

Oh and I drew up my reactions to certain chapters in Working for the Devil.

   Happy Valentine's Day!
EASY LISTENING: Champagne Supernova by Oasis
READ UP ON IT: Working for the Devil

Ah, a day to either love or be loved. Hell, two of my friends were doing the puppy eyes at each other in the hallway. *smile*
Valentine's Day has always been an awkward holiday for me, since *tada* my middle name is Valentine. So I decided this morning to spread love and joy one hug at a time through our school. And that is what I did.

*HUG* I hope all y'all had a good Valentine's Day, whether you spent it with your loved one, with friends, or alone. *HUG* Love y'all!

Whoa, That Was A Great Time
EASY LISTENING: Scary Kids Scaring Kids
READ UP ON IT: Dies the Fire by S.M. Stirling

We had our Black and White dance last night. It's basically our spring semi-formal dance, if you can call February spring.
*smile* Non-stop dancing from 8-11 last night, and the only thing that hurts is my neck. Oh! And I found out that wet iron ticks off my skin. I had one of those ball-chain-like things around my ankle, and it had gotten wet. It was up against my skin for those three hours, and now I've got itchy bumps, like bug-bites. *shrug* I must have some sort of allergy to wet iron.

How was everyone's weekend?

   Saving Me from Myself
EASY LISTENING: A Little Piece of Heaven by Avenged Sevenfold
READ UP ON IT: Strange Candy by Laurell K. Hamilton

here's my whole post: http://okamisunshine.deviantart.com/journal/16593679/

I'm just doing some soul-searching, and it's making me tired. Somehow I think that I should stop soon...

"Put on a mask and smile to keep people from worrying. Keep them from seeing what is happening, that the world is slowly rotting you from the inside out, killing you slowly like a passive suicide. Live through each day as if yesturday didn't happen and tomorrow will never come. Don't show what is within your soul, for others will not understand, for they cannot even begin to ponder what goes through a mind. Write on, showing and hiding at the same time. Act constantly, for living is the Play and life is the Stage."

   Snow, Glorious Snow
EASY LISTENING: A Little Piece of Heaven by Avenged Sevenfold
READ UP ON IT: Over the Moon (mix of four diff stories)

Thanks M-chan for the snow! It started around 10:30, and it's still going strong now, at 4:00.

We were skipping and singing and just hyper when we finally got the news. I started picking up on Robbie and Kate's hyperness, setting me off. The principal actually came over once to ask if we could be quieter during lunch, since we were pounding the table. Then the guys (Rob, Farcosky, CJ) started singing as loud as they could.
Then we walked back to Shakespeare, and Robbie started skipping down the hall.

I just love snowdays.

   Lovely, Just Lovely!
EASY LISTENING: Victim of Love by Good Charolotte
READ UP ON IT: The Harlequin by Laurell K. Hamilton

If anyone knows any supernatural beings, I would love to know them and an explaination of what they really are.
I've got: Lamia, Vampire, Werewolf, Shapeshifter, Were-animal, Naga, Succubus/Incubus, Demon, Zombie, Ghost, Angel, Fallen Angel, Fairy/Pixie

Yeah, today went by wonderfully. The play went through without a hitch, I understood what they were talking about in Algebra2 when I walked in halfway through class (after doing a bunch of Shakespeare), Dreamwrights was nice (though we couldn't get the folder out since the drawer it was in didn't wanna open), and I think I laughed today more than I have laughed on any one day for a long time.

Now I'm just tired, mentally, physically, and probably emotionally drained as well (if you count feeling absolutely nothing emotionally drained). But no sleep. No sleep. I have to study for my AP US unit test (ch. 13-16, I need to read them all tonight). >< There's always something...

We MIGHT get snow, though I've noticed a pattern. If they say we get snow in two/three days, the forcast will suddenly change to rain the day before. *rawr* I want the snow, dammit! I want to be able to roll in it, play in it, make a snowman, start a snowball fight with my friends (probaby after school on school grounds). *sigh* But alas! no snow.

How has everyone been?

*hug*

   Kita's Last Moments
EASY LISTENING: Hushabye by Korn

In one of my stories (Wolves Blood) I've been playing with an ending for a while now, even though I'm nowhere close to ending the story. This is what I've quickly written down so far:

David finished with a smirk.
“Why?!” She roared, tears streaming down her face. “Why?!”
“He was weak, simple as that,” David's smirk widened to a grin.
“No, NO!” She rammed into him, forgetting what he had in his hand. His eyes widened, but the smile didn't dissipate. Raising the gun, she felt the kick of each silver-plated bullet entering her body, but she didn't give ground. Rage and sorrow filled her eyes, only asking for revenge.
A silent roar filled the darkening sky as her claws laces his neck, tearing it to shreds.
As his body fell to the wet ground with a sickening thud, she burst into tears.
Tears could not bring him back. Nothing could. Now all she could do was join him. Not hard, since she was pumped full of silver bullets.
“I'm coming, my love, I'm coming for you.”

Okay, ummm, Kita's the main character, David is a were-hunter (he hunts wereanimals), his son is Sebasian and is in love with Kita (werewolf) though he's not being talked about here. Ummm, OH! And Yoru is Kita's "mate" (ugg, complicated to explain...)

Happy New Year's Eve. I might post at or past midnight if Tommy and/or Peter get off the computer (I doubt it big time...it's a new computer)

*hugs and love*

   My 'Feelings' for 2008
EASY LISTENING: Bitch We Got a Problem by Korn
READ UP ON IT: Burnt Offerings by Laurell K. Hamilton

Last year I had a "feeling" that 2007 would rock out loud, that it would be the fun year. Now I've got "feelings" for 2008, most of which hit me last night:

There’s going to be changes
Big changes, though I cannot see what they will be
Something will change, something big
Characteristics, actions, people
A meeting of unknown will commence
2008 is the year of change

Hell, maybe it'll be right, maybe not. I've learned to trust my feelings, since they normally are spelling out something I need to know.
