   A List
eh, I had to make a few listies, like what I wanted to bring with be besides CLOTHES, and what I needed to get or get done before I left (scanner, new sketchbook, shampoo, etc...)

GOOD NEWS:

Tomorrow, I will be bringing up the scanner issue with my dad, since I've finally pinpointed the problem (thanks to another friend of mine who actually knew what he was talking about...) and it seems to be that our Java software crap needs to be updated before we can hook up the scanner. Soooooo, tomorrow I will be sitting my dad down and getting him to update the software stuff and hook up the scanner with me. You will know if it worked or not if I suddenly submit pictures again =]

As you can see, I'm still ticked at my scanner, since it STILL doesn't want to hook with my computer.
All that won't happen is a screen won't pop up when I'm installing, saying that it will apply the darn icons. Flip...

   Cos-play
EASY LISTENING: ah, something from the 2003 HFStival CD...

Yup, BunZ finally got her Edward Elric outfit, so sometime this week she's going to "kidnap" me and I'll be taking pictures. Hopefully there's a camera cable around here somewhere, or I will just wait until I get the CD after the pictures are developed.

I can't wait for Saturday...
This week is going to be so slow, especially if I run out of paper in my sketchbook before I leave (6-7 pages left...)
I might be able to post Saturday morning, but that's IF I set my alarm. I might have to, since I've been going to bed at 2am...which is really bad for my body clock. Oh well, I'll deal with that when school rolls around again.

Not much else to report, really.

Sorry I forgot to post on Friday, but I had went to Amy's to hang with her and Kir. We were swimming and went to the carnival to watch the 'works. ^^

Alice in Wonderland is my new "analyze" piece, meaning I am look through it, finding hidden meanings in the storyline (I had read a book about half a year ago, which flipped the story of Alice around, it was VERY interesting, giving new life to the plotline. I really need to remember the title...)

   Just So Much
I didn't expect to wake up this morning with that news...
I should have guessed, though, since all the close-deaths I've heard about (family, friends, close peoples) I've always had something to warn me before hand.
This time it was the Fullmetal Alchemist episode of last night.
It's the only episode that makes me cry. Nina and Alexander didn't deserve what happened to them.

Sorry for all my emo-ness-ness, but I'm just feeling like shit today.

   I Can't Believe It...
When my sister opened the newspaper to read the obituaries (she's been doing this for a few year now), I didn't think she would ask me about a man named "Ruff"

My high school advisor, Mr. Ruff, died Monday, July 9, 2007. I just found out this morning.

After being in his homeroom/advisory for only a year, I saw a man who would smile and joke with anyone, always happy and easy-going. One look at him, and you knew he was a teacher you just wanted to have.

Even in my yearbook, since I had been talking to a friend about when I might be moving, the last thing he wrote in that little note was "hope to see you next year." I was planning on it.

He touched the lives of many in his years of teaching, and probably even before that.

I will miss him terribly.

EASY LISTENING: Trashed and Scattered by Avenged Sevenfold

So...I am on the 12th floor in Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories...

I'm learning more and more about this computer as summer presses on. Also, more and more about people...they still confuse me, though

Been working on Maybe 16 for the past few days as well. I still need to draw up Anthony, Kota, and Julie, since Cicero, Ray, and Renee are all done.

Ugg, running out of pages in my sketchbook. I need to head up to Target or Micheal's to get a new one soon. =] I got this one on my birthday (May 3rd) from BunZ. It got some good use.

Been working on weapons again. *grin*
