The road is hard to follow
Then we're gone tomorrow
Never saying goodbye to yesterday
Has the memories of heart
Said goodbye and left to part?
Or has the tears diluted down
Maybe they'll start tomorrow
The rain will cease to follow
And the mist will die down today
Something somewhere keeps going
Am I home? Senses flowing
Let's sing a song to break this silence
Is somebody there beyond this street?
Am I alone beyond aching feet?
The road keeps telling me to go on
Something here keeps pulling me
I can feel the gravity
Of it all...

The dream that will one day be true
Becomes an unheard mutter
Wandering amongst the darkness
Soon these eyes will open
To the fate that draws near
Tears in moonlight overflow
My lips utter in the darkness
The smile that pierced my heart
That time we first met
I want to protect it
I will within the pain of agony
I embrace this fleeting promise
Just to be close to you
Just to see you smile so innocent
Just to be with you together
Returning distant memories
Sorrowful yet comforting
Within my ever revolving thoughts
Will they never cease to end?
The repeated question
Dances in the shadows of my mind
The memories of holding hand
Slowly overcomes my body
Then the questions turn to light
In the clear blue sky
Yet these are only illusions
My fingers...
Dispose my profound darkness
That is entwined in colorless chains
Which loneliness created
But I can't let go
Of the words fallen into darkness
Just to be with you
You who I desire
Just to feel the same pain
Happiness slowly turns to love
And love is what I finally release
The frozen walls of ice in my heart
I have found someone to protect
And my wall is slowly melting
My fragments of regret
Shall turn to light
Just to be happy with you
The happiness welling up inside
And even if we parted

She's in love
With the perfect guy
Yet her sadness ever flowing
But she can't let him know
Or he'll be worried
It's something she lives with

Her darker side
Trapped within her heart
Never to come out
Yet her darks pain and sadness
Flows to her
And she wonders...
How long can I act happy?
She remembers when
Her love showed her the light
How happy she was
To have found him
She loves him ever so
But the thought of being hurt again
The sadness of being alone
Is a plague she can't lift
So she pretends it's alright
But she knows
She's not fine
But if her love knew
How much pain she bears
It's something
She won't put him through
So she keeps silent

She looks up at the sky
Where clouds pass her by
She knows in her heart
That one day she'll fly
She promised love
Till the day she would die
But cruel fate took him first
And she started to cry
She lost her words
When he took to the sky
Cast her one last smile
As he spread his wings to fly
Their love echoes through time
Yet neither hears
Both have cried
A million tears
Yet hope still remains
In their very soul
That when he finds her
They will be whole
She locked away love's words
In her saddened heart

I'm the one person
Whom no one can see
Her delicate heart
Fragile as can be
Her delicate heart
I reside within
I'm her darkest side
To her I'm kin
Yet she doth hate me
For I am pure hate
In her heart I'm locked
So here I will wait
She's nothing like me
She's kind and caring
And I thrive on hate
A heart we're sharing
Pain's unbearable
Yet she still smiles
Despite her sadness
She still beguiles
I am the darkness
And she is the light
She locks me away
Yet I'm free at night
For her mask is off
Her emotions free
And I come right out
With reality
I know she hates me
