It was tons of fun, well, most of the fun was had outside of the con, where we just told funny stories. Most of the events were lame, the exception being the Rave! That was SOOOOO much fun, and has inspired me to get in shape for the next one. There was an awesome weapons vendor there. He was selling Hanzo swords O.o Like, $1,200 swords for $400 since it was the last day. Too bad I'm kinda poor at the moment ^^

Artichoke: I don't hate spider-man. What I was saying is that reading the comics before bed is a bad idea. Leaves you with weird dreams.

Krusty: I think my Truck gets a little more mileage than a sledgehammer. So I took it instead.

O.o the Messangers is a scary movie (watching it as I update).

Well, tomorrow I leave for the convention. I promise to take pictures and bring back juicy details.

As for the job hunt. Still no word. Though, more applications have been put in to a wide veriety of places (bank teller!? you sure we can handle that?) [we can be people persons] |did you just say people personS?| [-.-;] Holy mess there's another person in my head. I better come in contact with humans in person soon, before I start claiming these guys as dependents.

Meh... I'm hungry... and very tired. Some of you will know why, the majority won't.

Another fun filled job hunting adventure today.

Oh yeah, I'm sorry I'm hardly getting to anyone's site. Once I've sinched a job I'll be able to have a set schedule and actually devote time to things I like.

Here's a question. Why is it that nothing is open before 10 AM aside from the 24 hour stores? I'm pretty sure that last week store hours across the city were 9:30-9... and not too long before that it was 9-9. So, what is it? Why would businesses cut an hour of possible sale time? I mean, even the banks are open earlier, and they're BANKS. Those people look for any excuse to not be open.

Feh... guess I'll just eat my now cold breakfast and head out later.

Well, as far as job searches go... that one may have been a flop on the whole.

Gamestop said, "We're not hiring anymore." Which means... they just tossed my resume/application.

Cyberwoky (The one I was hoping for... play videogames all day >.> no brainer in my book): "Here's an app., but if we don't get enough people signed up for this summer camp we'll have to CUT BACK on employees." ;_; tha's not cool. It's not my fault they AREN'T ADVERTIZING!!! I should go enlighten them on this concept... might get me an in.

Data Entry: Some guy's mom has first dibs on the job, but if she doesn't take it it's mine... wish she would hurry up and decide either way -.-

Home Depot: yes... a mexican working AT home depot, instead of just being around it. Just gotta fill out an app. and follow through with some calls.

Busch Gardens: this accursed place... Well, I had to write a rehire letter to my former manager. If he/she (don't expect me to remember, that was 2 years ago, and I didn't even realise I only had 1) gives a good response (yeah, cause we left on the GREATEST of terms) then I can fill out an app. and put in for a decent job. Not doing culinary ops. That's a mistake I'll never repeat. Hoping they'll take me in security.

Ok, now for a few responses.

Artichoke: I'm not one for luck charms. I did almost break a leg though >.> kidding.

Hoaryu: gah, I hate those tiny backspaces. You always hit = or 7 (on the number pad) by mistake -.-

Angel Zakuro: Umm... you're kidding right? Vista is that new shiney (buggy) operating system for Windows PCs. It's on my dad's laptop, hense a different keyboard. They tried to cram too much onto it.

Krusty: THANK YOU!!! (ditto) I don't own a shotgun -.- but, I did have my K-nife.

Thegrantinator: Working for a pool is ok, just depends on how low on the job foodchain you are. I was lead concessions, so I was right under the manager (Sometimes litterally... I won't go into detail).

That's it for today, I'll try and get to sites, but I've got another half of a city to search for jobs.

Sorry about my little absence, this weekend was kinda crazy.

Well, in all actuality, I have nothing to report, other than I'm updating on a Vista machine... and this tiny keyboard is getting on my nerves (the shift key is the size of a letter key, I keep hitting enter by mistake, that kind of stuff). So, just reporting in that I'm alive and well. I'll visit sites sometime today, but my mission today is job hunting. Not the call around stuff I've been doing, I'm gonna just jump in my truck and inquire at every "Help Wanted" sign. -.- gonna be a lo~ng day.

I didn't get the call -.- I tried 3 times to get ahold of the guy, but... just the voice-mail.

Nothin' to report actually, but, responding to comments seems to work (not to mention gives me time to come up with stuff).

At least, the ones that are respondable to.

Krustyknuckles: Unfortunatly it's incredibly difficult to become an illegal mexican when you're already a citizen.

Artichoke: You think that a job can tear me away from here? The opposit is probably true, once I have a job I'll have more to talk about. ^^

Which... confuses me further. How can there be an anime/gaming convention without smash bros.!? It's just not right -.-
