He is a demon and was previously part of Ion's group of rebels. However, the murder of his protégée Magdalena 53 years ago made him leave them and now, he's a prey for his old comrades, the otte from the demon society he betrayed and even more an irregular in the Magdala Shuudoukai. However, because of his strong and complex link with Rosette, he's allowed as an assistant for her. He lost his horns a while ago and depends of Rosette's lifetime in order to use his powers sealed in an old pocket watch. This also makes him need an alternative form, the one of a child. While he can be completely beside himself in his original form, he usually is a caring and moralistic boy who just keep for himself a very heavy past and pain.
