   Rain, rain go away!

Hi everyone!

It was pouring rain today. From the time i woke up to the time i left school, it was raining. I really dont like the rain. It makes me feel depressed. It only stopped raining when i got home a few minutes ago. I'm glad about that.

School is the same old stuff. My book bad is really heavy. It is full of really big books. My locker helps, but i only have 3 minutes to get to class or get a detention. So, i have to carry the books of classes before lunch in my bookbag, and exchange my books for the next few classes i have after lunch. The only really good thing is that im not getting alot of homework right now. Thats good. I just hope i keep having no homework...

Here's todays poem:

Rain

As the falling rain
trickles among the stones
memories come bubbling out.
It's as if the rain
had pierced my temples.
Streaming
streaming chaotically
come memories:
the reedy voice
of the servant
telling me tales
of ghosts.
They sat beside me
the ghosts
and the bed creaked
that purple-dark afternoon
when I learned you were leaving forever,
a gleaming pebble
from constant rubbing
becomes a comet.
Rain is falling
falling
and memories keep flooding by
they show me a senseless
world
a voracious
world--abyss
ambush
whirlwind
spur
but I keep loving it
because I do
because of my five senses
because of my amazement
because every morning,
because forever, I have loved it
without knowing why.

Well, thats it! Talk to ya later!!

My first day back to school!

Hi everyone!

I'm very sorry that i haven't updated my site in a while. It is because my vacation was really boring. And i doubt you guys want to hear about it. Also, i wanted to post this yesturday, but i kinda fell asleep. I'm sorry.

Well, my first day back to school was yesturday! And guess what?! I passed the 10th grade!!! I'm finally a Junor!!!!! YAY! I was kinda scared that i wouldnt pass...

It was alot better
than i thought it would be. I couldn't sleep the night before, so i stayed up and watched TV. At 7:00am i got in my dads car and we drove to school. I went up to my homeroom, got my schedule, and talk to some of the kids that i havn't seen in months.

My first class was a study. I just sat there and didn't really do anything. Studys are always boring.

My second class was english. I love english. My teacher, Mrs. Nargi, told us what we are going to do for the year. Our subjuct is American authors! This is really cool. Now we get to learn about poets like Robert Frost and Egear allen Poe. I think i'm going to really like this class.

My third class was US History. I also like this class. My teacher is really cool. I also saw a few friends that i havn't seen in a long time.

My fourth class was Spanish. I don't really like this class. I can't speak spanish at all, except for maybe hello and goodbye. Theres nothing that really interests me in Spanish class.

My fifth class was Chorus. I LOVE this class! I'm not very good at the do re mes yet, but you should hear my Silent Night! It might take me a while to train my voice, but this class should be great. Oh, and i met my good friend Mike in the class. He used to be in my old schoolm but he was kicked out. I havent seen him in 2 years. It was really great to see him.

My sixth class was Algebra. I hate this class. I was never, and will never be good at math. I think i will need to take tutors.

My seventh and last class was science. I love science! In this class, we will be doing alot of really cool experiments! One of the experiments is going to be a water rocket. I can't wait to make it!

Over all, my first day back to school was pretty good. I saw alot of old friends, and i have alot of great classes. This year might even be cool...

Here's the poem for today:

First Day At School

Its hard to explain, the way I feel;
A place unknown but is so real!
A soft voice welcomes me to the place,
I look up to see a lady’s smiling face.

I am led to a table that is covered with shapes,
A young girl my age says ‘Hi I am Grace,
I am three, but soon will be four.
I am a big girl and not afraid anymore.

Days go on and I encounter many new experiences and friends,
I feel like I’m on a roller coaster, which never seems to end.
I forever trying new things and learning everyday.
And the best thing is I having fun while I play!

Today I wrote my name for the very first time,
My teacher hugs me and gives the most gracious smile.
I feel full of pride; confident I can do anything if I try.

If you come to Kindy you are sure to find inside,
Happy smiles from children that continually shine!

Well, thats it. Talk to ya later!

   Insomnia and money woes.

Hi everyone.

I couldn't sleep a wink last night. I don't know why. I stayed up reading Harry Potter, book number 5. I read for hours. At 4:30am, i went down to join my dad at the breakfast table. He made some great waffles. The only bad thing is that there wasn't anything on TV at that hour.

Well, it is a month until school starts. And i need new clothes. I need new pants, new shirts, new shoes...everything. Well, i'm not too sure if i can get all this stuff before the first day of school. My parents have alot of medical bills, and its taking a beating on my parents bank accounts. Plus, i just got a reminder notice from the company thats making my class ring. I own them $146.39 before the Junior ring dance at my school in the fall. I guess i can relate to Ron Weasly when he says "I hate being poor"...

Todays poem is made by darkraven! Thank you so much darkraven!!

Here is todays poem:

Hurt

I loved you so much, but now I see,
You never felt the same.

A fool I was to believe your lies,
While deceit was written on your face.

You know, you made me feel so lucky,
So lucky to be with you.

I gave you my heart, showed you how I felt,
But you just threw it in my face.

When you threw me out like a cheap, broken toy,
You turned away and laughed.

You hurt me so muck that night, it seemed,
That my pain would never end.

You were my one and only,
I cared for no one else.

You promised you wouldn't hurt me,
But it was just another lie.

I see it now, how many things,
Were a threaded web you wove.

I thought the pain wouldn't go away,
That I was scarred for life.

But no, you see, you didn't hinder, but help,
I won't feel that pain again.

Now that you're gone, I feel it too,
No longer am I hurt.

Well, thats it. Talk to ya later.

   Wow! What a great night!!

This was such a great night!!! I had such a great time at my cousins wedding. I'm going to tell you all about this wonderfull night.

First, we sat at my house to wait for my cousin(whos name is Tammy) and her older son(whos name is Matt) and Tammys soon to be husbands (whos name is Paul)two daughters. Tammy, Matt, and the two daughters (whos names were Ashely and mary(i think) had to get dressed for the wedding. My mom was the one who made Tammys wedding dress. It was pooring rain, which really sucked. At 6:30, we left my house and drove to the chaple. At the chaple, we waited for about 20 minutes. During those 20 minutes, the band played really loud music that made it really hard for the family to talk. Well, the bride and groom (Tammy and Paul)walked up to the podium. The speaker that says all the "Do you take..." started to say some things. The thing was, she really couldn't read very good. She read the book like a 2nd-grade student. I'm not trying to be mean, but that kinda made some people laugh. Well, they said there "I DOs" and kissed. Everyone clapped and rang the bells that were given to them instand of rice. Tammy didn't want rice thrown.

Anyway, we drove to Tammys really nice house which wasn't too far away. It was really humid there. It had just stopped raining. The DJ, who was from FM 99.1 WPLR(one of my favorite sations) was there. I walked up to him and told him hat a big fan of his station i was. He smiled and said thanks. I asked my mom if i could take pictures, and she said ok. So, i was the camera person for the whole party. I was taking alot of pictures. Well, we had a great dinner. Tammy got caterers to do the food. We had chicken, very good Prime Rib, lasagna, potatos, squash, soda, tea, beer(that i didn't touch), and some other things. We ate and then Tammy and paul danced. After that, Tammy, her dad( who is my dads brother, my uncle) and Pauls mom and Tammys son danced. Then we sat down and talked. After maybe 12 mintues, they brought out the wedding cake. Tammy didn't want a big cake (since this was her second marriage) so she got really nice cupcakes. Then it was time for the cutting of the (cup)cake. It was very funny. Paul pushed the cake into tammys mouth. She got frosting all over her mouth and nose. It made for some great pictures. Well, my mom and dad were getting tired. It was about 10:10. The party didn't end till 12:00, but my parents were getting tired, so we left early. We got home about 30 minutes ago. It was such a great night! I don't think i've seen my cousin happier than she was tonight.

I'm not going to put a poem in this post. I'm sorry, but i am very tired.

Thats it. Talk to ya later.

   Happy Birthday Melissa!

Today is my sisters birthday! Melissa is 25 years old. She got a few presents from our parents. She got a bracelet, a necklace, and a few other things. She also got a very good dinner and cake.

Oh, and i got some really cool news about my cousins wedding. A DJ from WPLR, a local radio station, will be there to play the music! This is so great! I love the station and the music they play on there.

Todays poem is made by darkraven. Thank you so much, darkraven!!!

Here is todays poem:

A Birthday Poem.

Birthdays come and birthdays go,
To celebrate years of life.

Twenty-five years have come and gone,
Through childhood and high school life.

The years fly by, too fast it seems,
To suit our individual tastes.

"Live life to it's fullest" is what they say,
Have fun like there's no tomorrow.

And as this birthday comes and goes,
Enjoy it as much as you can.

So happy birthday to you Melissa,
And many more to come.

4 days until my cousins wedding!

Thats it. Talk to ya later!

   I have finished my present!

I have finished my present for my cousins wedding! It looks so great! I wish that i could show you it.

It is a candle holder. I made it myself. I made it in my Tech ed class in school. It is made out of wood. It is two bears looking at each other with a heart seperating them. The hole for the candle is in the heart. It is really nice. I painted it with brown, red, and white paint. The bears are brown, the heart is red, and the base that all this sits on is white. It looks like its in the clouds or something.

I really hope that my cousin likes it. I made it just for her and her new husband.

Oh, and my myotaku just reached 200 views! This is great. I just hope that more people would sign my guestbook!

Here is todays poem:

Lullaby

Lay your sleeping head, my love,
Human on my faithless arm;
Time and fevers burn away
Individual beauty from
Thoughtful children, and the grave
Proves the child ephemeral:
But in my arms till break of day
Let the living creature lie,
Mortal, guilty, but to me
The entirely beautiful.

Soul and body have no bounds:
To lovers as they lie upon
Her tolerant enchanted slope
In their ordinary swoon,
Grave the vision Venus sends
Of supernatural sympathy,
Universal love and hope;
While an abstract insight wakes
Among the glaciers and the rocks
The hermit's carnal ecstasy.

Certainty, fidelity
On the stroke of midnight pass
Like vibrations of a bell
And fashionable madmen raise
Their pedantic boring cry:
Every farthing of the cost,
All the dreaded cards foretell,
Shall be paid, but from this night
Not a whisper, not a thought,
Not a kiss nor look be lost.

Beauty, midnight, vision dies:
Let the winds of dawn that blow
Softly round your dreaming head
Such a day of welcome show
Eye and knocking heart may bless,
Find our mortal world enough;
Noons of dryness find you fed
By the involuntary powers,
Nights of insult let you pass
Watched by every human love.

9 Days until my cousins wedding!

Well, thats it. Talk to ya later.

   Happy Independence Day!

Happy 4th of July everyone! My parents are outside right now cooking a whole alot of food on the grill. They are cooking up Hot dogs, Homemade hamburgers, and chicken. They all will be grilled with my special BBQ sauce that i made myself.^_^ My mom is also planning to make potato salad, coleslaw, and my favorite, pasta salad. On every 4th of july, we have a tradition of roasting mushmellows after all the grilling is done. Oh, and we will be freezing the grilled stuff that we don't eat. Lets just say that my family won't be going hungry for a while, lol. Then we plan on watching the amazing fireworks on TV. It is going to be a great 4th of July.

Here is my poem:

Liberty

Here in the harbor, made famous by her very existence,
Stands a lady, polished by a new American pride...
And her name is Liberty.
She holds a torch ignited by the flame of love,
And from her raised hand and her gentle eyes
She offers a blessing of reassurance with silent lips:
"Give me your weary, your dreamless, your hopeless,
Those who have lost faith in themselves and our country.
Send these, the embittered, to me.
I am living proof of what a nation of people can do,
When they believe, when they commit, when they join hearts.
I lift my torch beside the door that remains open,
A golden opportunity for all who enter,
When the hope is peace
And the reason is freedom for all."

That poem brings a tear to your eye, doesn't it?

Oh, and from this post on, i will be counting down until my cousins wedding. Here is the first one:

19 days until my cousins wedding!

Nothing new right now. Something soon!

Hi Everyone!

There is nothing really exciting happening in my life right now. To tell the truth, i'm really bored. I am just going on the internet all day and talking to friends and posting stuff on message boards.

But, something really big will be happening soon...

I have something really exciting that will be happening soon.

My cousin will be getting married soon!! That's right! and i am going to the wedding! It will be so great! My cousin was married before, but her last husband was not very good. So, this will be her chance to finally get a great marrige! The wedding will be on July 23 at 7:00Pm. I can't wait!!

Here is todays poem:

Remember

Remember me when I am gone away,
Gone far away into the silent land;
When you can no more hold me by the hand,
Nor I half turn to go yet turning stay.
Remember me when no more day by day
You tell me of our future that you planned:
Only remember me; you understand
It will be late to counsel then or pray.
Yet if you should forget me for a while
And afterwards remember, do not grieve:
For if the darkness and corruption leave
A vestige of the thoughts that once I had,
Better by far you should forget and smile
Than that you should remember and be sad.

I hope you like the poem!

Talk to ya later!

I didn't get the job. Plus updates to myotaku.

I didn't get the summer jobs i applied for. My City hall sent a letter saying that i didn't get the job, but they will keep my application if a position opens up. So there is some hope.

I am planning to do some really nice updates to my myotaku. The idea for this came because i noticed that some of my friends, like Panda and JuliasPeach, have done things like this. I thank them for the idea.

My idea is to put a poem in a myotaku life post. So everytime i put a post, there will be a brand new poem in the post for all to enjoy. Please note, all poems will not be made by me. They will be found on the internet. If you haven't guessed, i love poems. This update will start with this post. Here is the poem:

The Daffodils
I wandered lonely as a cloud
That floats on high o'er vales and hills,
When all at once I saw a crowd,
A host, of golden daffodils;
Beside the lake, beneath the trees,
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.

Continuous as the stars that shine
And twinkle on the Milky Way,
They stretched in never-ending line
Along the margin of a bay:
Ten thousand saw I at a glance,
Tossing their heads in sprightly dance.

The waves beside them danced, but they
Out-did the sparkling waves in glee:
A Poet could not but be gay,
In such a jocund company:
I gazed--and gazed--but little thought
What wealth the show to me had brought

For oft, when on my couch I lie
In vacant or in pensive mood,
They flash upon that inward eye
Which is the bliss of solitude;
And then my heart with pleasure fills,
And dances with the daffodils.

Well, do you like the poem? Do you like my idea? Please give me some feedback on it.

Talk to ya later!

School is over! Summer Vacation, here i come!

That's right ladies and gentlemen! I'm offically on Summer Vacation. That means i'll be sleeping until noon, staying on the computer all day, and going to sleep at 1:00AM. It is going to be so great to finally get a good nights sleep for once.

On Monday, i had my Civics and my Math finals. I did great on the very easy Civics test, but i know that i failed the math one. On Tuesday(today), i had my Tech ED and my English test. I think i did pretty good on my Tech ED test, but i'm not so sure about the English one. It was the end of the day at 11:00 and my brain kinda went dead. I just couldn't concertrate. *sigh* I hope i don't stay back....

I went to the guidence office today to get a form for summer school in case i did fail for the year. It seems that i need $120 to go to summer school. The summer school is in a public school(i'm in a public school too) in a small town a few miles away from me. It really sucks that public school kids need to pay so much money. I don't have the money to go, so if i fail i will probably stay back.

Well, enough of the sad news. Lets all be glad for the good news. That is summer vacation! I'm gonna lay back with some lemonade and do nothing all summer. I will be on the internet alot during the summer. The internet is pretty much all i will have to do.

Well, that's it. Talk to ya later!
