Mood: Cold, and not wanting to go to work

Aiya, it’s 5am, and I must say again, I hate getting up this early. The real bummer is, this was supposed to be my day off. BOO this. I need to learn to tell people no when they ask me to do something.

In better news, I finally go to see Silent Hill Saturday! Ohh, it was good. Creepy, obviously, heh, but good. Heh, and Saturday, after we got home it was dark and the hubby and I both went upstairs to get on the computers. Well, I went down stair to get some water out of the refrigerator and the 1st floor was all dark. So I thought to myself, alright, I’m a big girl, I am NOT going to let a movie creep me out, so I refused to turn on the light. I walked into the kitchen, got my drink, and on the way out… the frackin cat attacked me out of nowhere in the dark. -_- I could have kicked her across the room, stupid cats anyway.

That’s about all I have to say, and I have to get my butt moving anyway. Have a good Monday everyone!

Man, after all this time, I never realized Wat in A Knight’s Tale was Alan Tudyk. And as big of a Wash fan as I am, for shame. How come I never knew that?? Heh. Oh well. It just makes me love ‘em more, cause man, I him and I love that movie.

Good news! I’m not cold right now. =P Though I still felt under the weather today. Stomach’s been queasy all day.

Oh, and a very happy birthday to [Shadow] and [Evil-muffin]!! Our spring flowers' birthdays are today. So goes wish them a happy one!

Mood: Tired, cold, and blah

I’m so cold right now. I really don’t function before at least 8am. Remember how I said I woke up with my neck hurting yesterday? Well it turned into a headache and stayed all damn day. Urgh, and I felt so bad about half way through the day. I started to feel better right before I went to bed, call that timing. -_- Heh, I watched Good Will Hunting before going to bed, so the healthy dose of Matt Damon might have done it. =P

The good news is I woke up with no headache today. Although I’m still feeling like crap, boo. I’m gonna be dragging all day. And… I have nothing else to say, heh, besides I can’t stop shivering.

So how about a dose of Matt for the rest of you, eh? Gods, shove me between a stripping, dancing Matt Damon and Ben Affleck, huzzah.

I’m so tired, whaa. And my neck hurts. Don’t you just hate when you wake up with your neck hurting? I must sleep in a really strange position or something. That or I think my pillow’s going flat.

Thanks everyone for your nice complements about the theme. *huggles everyone* Hehe, I’m glad so many are enjoying the music. Perhaps we could take Enin’s idea and break out the couches.

Oh, I forgot to mention, I finally got to see Memoirs of a Geisha the other day. Fantastic movie! And so very pretty. Ken Watanabe rocks my world. *love*

And… Advent Children came out on DVD today! Huzzah!! I must have that movie.

Heh, I can’t believe only Mimmi and Katie got the “Voulez vous coucher avec moi ce soir”! It translates to “Do you want to sleep with me (tonight)?" And yes Katie, I’ll take that offer. XD It’s also the lyrics to Lady Marmalade by Christina Aguilera, Lil' Kim, Mya, and Pink, from the Moulin Rouge Soundtrack That sound more familiar? And if you haven’t heard that song, you must never listen to the radio.

So yes, as you can see the Moulin Rouge theme is up, featuring Christian (hotness) and Satine. It’s hard to make a hottie even sexier, but being able to sing can indeed do it. Oh, the friends and banners links aren’t functional yet. The pages aren’t ready. But the word of the day and video is. This weeks video is Jack Johnson’s, Sitting, Waiting, Watching music video.

Rain, rain, rain… I actually get a Saturday off and it rains. Oh well, we can use the rain I guess.

So, for those of you who celebrate the whole Easter thing, did you have a nice one?

I am changing my theme soon. Say goodbye to Ranma. I love Ranma and all, but the cherry blossom colors are just a bit too pink for me. Some of you already know what’s coming up. Voulez vous coucher avec moi ce soir? XD If you didn’t get that hint, you’ve slept in a hole for the last 5 years.

Ya know, I feel bad. There are a few new people to the O who keep commenting on my page that I don’t think I’ve ever visited. I’m horrible at returning GB sigs and all. One, today is the hubby and I’s anniversary! Yay! *Throws confetti* I think we are going to go out to an Italian place tonight. Which reminds me, this cute Italian guy taught me how to say “don’t bust my balls” in Italian, and I totally forgot already. Boo.

Flyleaf – I’m So Sick

Urgh, early, early, early. Want to go back to sleep… ahem. As there are a few of you who want to be mentors also, I’ll have to put together a list of us. ^_^

Oh! I watched Stay for the first time yesterday. Who else has seen it? That movie was freakin awesome! Ewan McGregor did a splendid job in the movie. Heh, okay, when does he not, but that’s not the point. It’s one of those psychological thrillers (NOT cheesy horror thriller, we’re talking Gothica here). Where you don’t quite know what the hell is going on… at ALL, until the end. It was great. I haven’t enjoyed a movie as much in a while.

Question: Do you miss the sidebar on this site for easy navigation? Do you prefer it being there?

Weezer – Beverly Hills

Heh, I’m still sore today, no big surprise there. I may be going out to eat with my parents this evening, which would be a cool thing. I do hope everyone’s enjoying the Weezer.

Aww, Shadow babe, you are still my shadowan remember. Shanny’s teaching you the dark side remember, of which you have done quite well at. Ownage anyone? XD

And hey, for those older members who liked the mentor idea, go for it, yo. We’ll make out own little community out of it. =P

The O was mucked up for a good while yesterday, how long I’m not sure, so I’m going to repost my idea from yesterday below.

This is an idea I picked up from the jedicouncil forums. When you join there, some of the older members, especially in the fanfic section, will take a newbie under their wing as a padawan of sorts. The Master, or older member, is there to answer any questions the padawan might have about the site, help them with ideas, help them get to know people in the community, and basically be a mentor. For a large community, it’s very helpful.

I’ve been around the myO for like, ever, and thought, what the hey? The otaku is growing quite a bit as well. New members come to me all the time with questions anyway. So I thought I’d give the mentor thing a shot here at the O and see if I can help anyone.

So yes, that’s right, I am in search of a padawan. What will I do for you? Well, you’ll get introduced on this page for one. I will help with any questions you may have and will even help with sprucing your myO page up. That’s right, I’ll actually help you design your page, if you wish. And you’ll at least have one person that will always visit you and comment on your page.

If you are a newbie, sound like something you’d be interested in? Want to be Shanny-bear’s padawan? I was going to have everyone PM there form, but as the PM’s still seem to be retarded, feel free to fill this out and post it under the comments. Remember, newbies only my friends. And so you know what I like as well, I’ll answer my own questions for you to read.

Weezer – Beverly Hills

Oh my god, I am SO sore today. I trimmed my parents’ bushes yesterday, so I spent all day whipping that stupid electrical trimmer around. And today I can barely lift my left arm, heh. And to top it off, having to get in and around the bushes, they’ve scratched my hands and forearms up as well, boo. So either way, I’m in PAIN. And I have to go to work shortly, double boo.

Well, I am going to try something… and see if it works. Granted, we all know not all of my ideas actually do work, but what the hell. This is for newbies, so if you are one read below. If you don’t take the time to read, heh, for those of you who stop here and don’t read my posts and have to comment anyway… well I guess you’ll just miss the chance won’t you.
