Played a new game, and went to an antiques mall!

Listening To: dear my best friend - angela
Reading: Aishiteruze Baby
Current Mood: Happy! <3

Well, after reading tons of stuff about that new game Okami, and how good it was, I decided to play it. And it really is good!
The graphics are amazing, and it's really fun, and different than anything I've ever played before!

Today, we went to this antiques mall that was downtown. I found an old Japanese bowl that was *laquerware!* *sparkle*. I like laquerware. :D
But anyways, we got some neat stuff, and I saw lots of old neat stuff too. Oh, by the way, yesterday we also went to Good Will and found a Maneki Neko!
Oh, also at good will, I found myself a rotating CD rack! Well, it really doesn't matter if it's rotating, ^^; but now a have a single place to put my cds. Finally! Yay.

Has anyone seen the TV show Monk? I've never seen it before, but I read the back at the store, and decided to get it.
It's actually really good! And absorbing.
It's about this guy who's a hypocondriac (spelled that wrong, probably ^^;;), paranoid, and obssesive-compulsive, yet is an amazing detective.
It's really good, and if you like detective shows with some humor, then you'd probably like it.

Anyways, that's all I can think of for now, but I'll see you all soon!

~ chibi-mashumaro

P.S.

Here's A Question for you All! *sparkle*:
Which do you prefer, or like more; anime, or manga?
My Answer: Um, I like both pretty much the same, but I get less animes because they are usually more expensive.

   Wheeeee! Guess what!

Listening Too: Brilliant Road to Tomorrow - angela
Reading: Stellvia of the Universe vol. 1 (I'm in a Stellvia mood, ^__^)
Current Mood: Happy!

Umm...! Guess what! I'm finally getting broad-band connection! Yaaay! *dances* No more slow freakin' dial-up!

Well, enough with my happy-hyperness.
Now stuff that happened today!: Actually... nothing much. ^^;; But I was pretty lazy today.
Oh, and I've decided who I'm gonna be for Halloween --- Shana from Shakugan no Shana! Um, some of you might not know who she is, but so you at least know what she looks like, she's the girl in my BG.

I've been hearing a lot about the manga Full Moon O Sagashite, so I decided to read it. I know understand why it's so popular! It is a good manga. I like it. I don't think I ever would've imagined two harbringers of death to be so darn cheerful... ¬__¬; Or maybe I would have... i dunno.
Oh yeah, I also read Dramacon vol. 2, which was awesome! It's my favorite american manga.

Lately, I've been watching a lot of Star Trek (I'm an uber nerd! Yes. And proud. But star trek is cool!) I think I like the Next Generation better, but the older star trek has charm. :D haha.

Um... I really actually don't have much to write about today! I'm sorry! ^^;
Oh, One last thing before I go, I'd like to say thanks to everybody who comments, or just bothers to read my crazy posts! Thankyuu! ^___^ *hugs*

Well, I'll see (and talk) to you all laters!
I'm gonna go do a quiz, I guess.

Hello Everyone! Sorry for not updating recently.

Listening To: Sakuranbo - Ai Otsuka
Reading: Anime Insider Issue 38
Current Mood: Content

Once again, sorry for not posting lately.
I think I've had jet-lag... or something.

Well anyways, our new kitten, who's named Garth (after Wayne's World, because he's kind of a geek. XD), and our other inside cats, Iris and Saki, really don't like eachother. They are always hissing and growling at each other. Of course, all new cats who meet each other are like that, and it's kind of funny.
Though, we can tell that Saki secretly really wants to play with him.

Something that irratates me, just a little is this:
I was reading some volumes of Love Hina, and I noticed that there where some weird blotches in the lines and such. It was where they had edited out some Japanese that was there in the original version. I thought, why did they do such a bad job on that?? I could do a better job... I think. Is it really that hard to edit little places like that for them? Oh well.

Oh, has anyone else played the new Valkyrie Profile game for PS2? It's really fun! And the movie graphics are freakin' amazing! It has pretty music too.

When I was on vacation, in a hotel we stayed in, I got to watch Bleach on TV! It was the one episode where Chad finds the parakeet with a the ghost kid in it, and Rukia and Chad end up having to fight a hollow that wants to eat the kid's soul. It was cool. I liked the OP theme. But, the english dub does suck... when I buy the DVD, I'll probably watch it in Japanese. lol.
It seems, whenever VIZ liscences an anime, they do a really sucky job on the dub. It makes me want to cry sometimes! And then they don't include the original Japanese audio track so you can sooth your ears with the good version. Oh well.
Let's just hope that they don't get the rights to the Ouran anime!!

Another thing I discovered while I was on my vacation. Wow! LA traffic sucks! O.o
You see, I live in a smallish town (compared to LA), with a two-lane freeway. My eyes fell out of my head when I saw all the traffic that was there!
Wow. I guess I'm a hick. XD lol.

Well, I'll see you all later!
Happy Halloween!

   I'm back!

Listening To: Nothing (again)
Current Mood: Tired, kinda

Well, I'm back.

I think, that in my last post, I probably should've clarified where I was going, but oh well, I'll tell you now.
I was on vacation with my family. We had lots of fun too.

We went down to southern California, and visited some relatives. We also went and saw some of the sites there too, e.g., disneyland, the san diego zoo, etc.
We had lots of fun, but we also spent a huge wad of money.

But one of the coolest places we stopped at was an anime store! It was uber fun. And in case you're wondering, we spent a wad of money there too... ^^;

Anyways, I've seen a few new animes, like Shakugan no Shana (which is really really awesome!), and I also got Eureka Seven vol. 3, which was cool, and kind of Twilight Zone-ish. (If you've seen the ep. where renton goes into the Corallian, you'll probably know what I mean...). And is it just me, or is Anemone completely psycho...? Though, she probably has the most interesting personality in the whole show.
So, I'm working on making a Halloween-ish theme right now, but it may take a couple of days to completely finish, because I'm kinda tired today.
So, sorry if you come here and things look kinda weird.

   Hi everybody!

Listening Too: Nothin' right now.
Current Mood: Happy!

Sorry I haven't updated or visited sites for the past few days.

Um, basically, I wanted to post this because I wanted to tell you all that I'm gonna be away for 2 weeks. So, I won't be around for a while.

But, I guess I'm gonna post more. :D

First of all, Ouran High School Host club is definetely in one of my top favorite animes. It is so freakin' funny! Tamaki's my favorite character, but all the characters are great.
Also, I've been readin' Excel Saga more, lately. I think I like it better than the anime.
Excel doesn't nearly die as much in the manga as she does in the anime, but Hyatt does.

Anyways, when I get back, I'm probably gonna change the layout to a Halloween-ey theme.
Um, I have to go right now, 'cause my sis wants to use the internet.

So, I will see you all in 2 weeks!
Ja ne~!

India Ink is very black....

Currently Listening To: Nothing, right now.
Current Mood: Spaced out...

I have gotten a fountain pen recently. If you don't know what it is, well, it's sort of like a quill pen, except you fill it up with ink, and then put the nib back on, and you can draw (or write) with it without dipping it in the bottle over and over again! It's convenient, yet messy. And you had better have paper towls (or something you can dry with) near by.
Well, anyways, I was messing around with mine ('cause I was bored out of my mind, with nothing else to do...) and I figured out how they make blood spatters in manga!! You blow on the tip of the pen really hard, and it splatters, and it looks really cool... :3

Recently, I have gotten a tablet, which makes drawing really super easier on the computer. But one thing is, that I suck at digital coloring. I'm only good at vectoring. -___-
I suppose I would get better over time, or something like that. But if anyone knows a good coloring tutorial for photoshop anywhere, I'd love to know about it.

Well, enough with that.
I have found out recently that I have easily over 80 mangas! It's a lot.
But I love them all. Heehee. Manga is so cool.
I only have about half or less that amount of anime though. Maybe because it's more expensive? It seems like I have more, but when I look at them all, it really isn't that much.

Something annoying happened today. It was my fault, I guess. Well, anyways, I left the door to our house open a crack, and our new kitten got scared, and ran out.
Luckily, we caught him, but it was after he got outside.
I hate it when our inside kitties get out, because I always get worried!

Hmmm, well, aside from that, nothing else really terribly exciting happened today.

I guess I will see you all later!

   Typing is Fun!

Currently listening to: Letters - Hikaru Utada
Current Mood: Happy! :3

Okay, sorry about the strange title.
But anyways, I had to show you guys this weird and funny extra-comic that I read in Excel Saga. It has Rikdo Koshi, and one of his assistants in it.
When I first read it, I laughed out loud. It was so strange and funny!
Read it for yourself. And remember, reads from right to left!:

Comic © Rikdo Koshi

Isn't it demented? Yay for demented humor! X3

Well, aside from that, nothing much happened. I read some stuff. My mom had to go to town.
I'm working on an original vectored picture on my computer, on adobe photoshop. It has like, 70 layers, (literaly). It has to have that many for each section on each character in the picture (section, like hair, clothes, etc.) and it's a group picture with 10 characters. And that's just the base colors. I still have all the details to do. Hilights and stuff. So yeah, it's going to take a while. But it's gonna look good in the end! ^__^

Lately, I've had a little bit of artist's block, or it might be just laziness... XD
I keep half-finishing pictures, and they don't look very good in the end. .... Wait, I guess that's laziness, or something. lol.
But anyways, when I put my mind to it, I can draw a really good picture.
I will post some pictures some time.

Well, I guess I talk to you all later! Perhaps I will update more tomorrow...

Sayonara!

Beware! Long post. mostly rambles. With a couple spoilers.

Hiya everybody. It's been a couple days since I updated.
Well, nothin' much has been going on, so that's probably why I didn't upday. lol.

Well, anyways, today I got to go to the bookstore. Yay!!
Of course I got manga. But I also got some books on learning japanese, and writing hiragana and katakana. Which should be fun!
And here are the mangas I got.
I got DNAngel 11, because it finally came out, and darn that cliff-hanger in #10 because it drove me crazy 0.o (I hate cliff-hangers). But anyways, it was über cool. And Yukiru Sugisaki's artwork is beautiful, as always, and then there was :SPOILER::SPOILER:SPOILER::SPOILER::SPOILER:SPOILER:
:SPOILER::SPOILER:SPOILER:

the introduction of the new vilain, Argentine. He's pretty cool-looking, I guess.

:END SPOILER:

And then, I also got Bleach 14. I swear, everytime I get another Bleach volume, I become more of a rabid fan. Because every volume is always SO AWESOME! And the...
:SPOILER::SPOILER::SPOILER::SPOILER:SPOILER:

...finding out about Mr. Yoruichi's true form was definetely unexpected, and funny. Especially Ichigo's reaction.

:END SPOIER:

Yoruichi's probably my favorite bleach character now, though. haha. But I also think Hanataro is pretty funny, and I also think that Uryu is cool. My sister thinks he's a nerd though, lol.

And I also got the last volume of Galaxy Angel Beta. And it turns out that it is the last of our adventures with Milfie and everbody. But luckily, Broccoli books has grabbed the liscense to Galaxy Angel II, the sort-of-sequel with Milfie's little sister, Apricot as the main character.
The other book I got was excel saga, and it is as weird as ever. The add in the back for the anime makes me crack up.

Anyways, now that I've rambled all about the books I got, I've spaced out and forgot what else I was gonna talk about .... *thinks*.....

Oh yeah. I looked at the TV guide the other day. Bleach was in adult swim. I cried.
It sucks not having cable!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!*cries*
*sigh*
Oh well. At least they're not wating for eternity until they release the 1st DVD volume. Yay!

......

... well, I didn't really cry.

Also, our new(ish, now, I guess) kitten is not as lazy as he was when we first got him. Now he is like, insanely hyper! he tried to climb the walls. O.o
Well, now we have three inside cats who are hyper typhoons of furry destruction! X3
In othe words, they are all really hyper. All of our older cats are, well, old. and More subdued. (I probably spelle that wrong! Just like I did a second a go.... (spelle??))

Well, I hope you have enjoyed my ramblings. Sorry if they didn't make any sense what-so-ever. I'm kinda tired.

   By the way...

If anyone knows where I can get some lyrics to the ending theme to Gravion Zwei, "La La Bye" by Honey Bee, I would greatly appreciate it!
Just PM me if you know.
Thanks much.

   Vectored!

Current Mood: excited! well, at least a little.
Listening To: Result - Nami Tamaki

I added a Eureka picture! It is vectored, and I did it. I think I did a pretty good job. I made it shiny! (obsessed with shiny -__-)
Well, anyways, you all can use it, if you want, where-ever, just give credit back, 'kays?

Anyways, nothing much exciting happened today. We went for a walk with our dog, and we saw some cows! The dog chased them a little, but then she chickened out, lol. But then, if I were her, I would probably chicken out too, 'cause she's only about, a quarter of their size! (and weight too, probably.)
My dog is kind of short. Her head only reaches a little above my knee. She's an Australian shepherd. And she's really tiny compared to a German Shepherd! (I recently saw one. :D) I used to have a German Shepherd, but I forgot how big they were!

I just realized something really annoying....
Well, today, my cat was trying to crawl from behind my computer, so I tried to pick her up from behind it, and the computer fell over, on top of my keyboard and hand. So, yeah, that was painful, but what I just realized is that the thing that opens and you put discs in (technical talk, lol) is jammed, so the thing won't open! grrrr. Why'd you have to climb up there?? *cries* Oh well...
Well, until I can get that fixed, I can't watch any of my region 2 dvds, which sucks. oh well.
Oh, by the way, my computer is an iMac, so the moniter and the computer are together, and the cd thingy is on the computer part. (more technical talk!! 0.0)

Well, that is pretty much the hilights of my day. Sorry this was such a chinsy post!
But here's a picture to make up for it:

Akari and Ai from ARIA the ANIMATION.

More Aria! It's a postcard that came in the first volume of the anime. I still have it in it's wrapper, and I probably won't take it out, 'cause I'm weird. lol. X3

Well, see you all later.
