 carrots
I've had a few too many now...I woke up around 1am >.< after going to bed at 8:30 (I was feeling really sick.) I finally gave up on trying to get back to sleep so I got up around 2 or so. Now I've been eating baby carrots for about half an hour (b/c I was really hungry when I woke up), and I'm really sick of them now...but I'm still hungry... :( I need bread or something...I don't know...nothing sounds good...bleh.
I went to duo's for awhile last night, but I don't think I was much fun since I had a splitting headache (and we were trying to watch anime...) then again, she probably had fun watching me stumble around and speak unintelligibly (as though I'd been drugged...) Regardless, we finished watching Pilot for Goddess. *shrugs* It was alright, but there almost no resolution. It was like someone just decided to cut the show halfway through. The only anime ending I've seen worse that this one was Neon-Genesis Evangelion...I hated the end of that one! It made no sense whatsoever! Call me a product of Western thought, but every story should have a beginning, a middle, and an end. Neither show had an end. *shakes head*
On to happier things...*rolls eyes*
I found out last night that my mom has gestational diabetes (gestational=during pregnancy). It doesn't make any sense b/c she hasn't shown any signs of it. *sighs* She gained no weight from May to June and lost a pound from June to July. Usually gest. diabetes makes women gain too much weight. (She's had it at least twice.) Everything should go alright, it's just a really big pain in the butt for her. Pray for my mom and the baby please!

I don't really know what I'm doing here right now. There was a thunderstorm again...I think there's been one at least 10 or 11 nights of the last two weeks... *sighs* And everyone thinks Kansas is such a dry state...It feels like monsoon season...Alright, I'm sure this is nothing like a monsoon... *shrugs*
Oh yes, I'd like to thank everyone who's signed my gb recently: Thank you, all! ^_^
Well, nothing I'm typing is making much sense, so I'll talk to everyone later!

I hope everyone had a happy 4th of July. I had a good time, for the most part. lovelyEowyn joined duo and me at my uncle's house to swim. We played badmitton, and I hit the birdie a few times!! (Go me!) We listened to the jukebox in grandma and grandpa's basement (always fun), and, luckily, no one got hurt shooting off fireworks, except for the plethora of bug bites. (I watched a mosquito suck my blood from my shoulder..*shudders* It was really gross.)
Now for not so great stuff: my sister and I went outside again after we got home, so we could watch the thunderstorm. (God makes the best fireworks.) We ran and played in the rain a bit (when it was actually raining.) It was about 12:45 or 1:00 when I thought it be funny to tap Christen and scream, "You're it!" I ran for awhile, and she tagged me back. I kept running and suddenly slipped on the wet grass, rolled my right ankle, and fell to the ground. Christen, standing about a hundred feet away by now, heard the 'POP!' So, I've been crawling around, trying not to put any weight on my ankle. The dilemna is that my parents didn't know we were out there, and we'll probably get in trouble for it. So, how do I explain this really screwed up ankle? >.< lol I know... I should just tell them... *grins sheepishly*
Lucky for me, my piano teacher just called and said we don't have to come today. That means I don't have to drive or mess around w/ the damper pedal. Also, the kids didn't have swim team this morning (though no one said anything 'til I'd already gotten up), so I didn't have to drive them to the pool.
Isn't life crazy? I feel like 'Leggy Mountbatten' of All You Need is Cash..."He lost a leg in the war and has been hopping around London ever since." lol ^_^

Happy 4th of July!
Today should be fun. We're going swimming (duo's coming w/ my family) and then over to my grandparents for dessert and fireworks. Anything with my family is a huge event! ^_^ Have fun today everyone!
