   What do you suggest?
I had my graduation party earlier today. My question is, now that I got nearly $300 to add to the scholarship I just received, should I get a laptop or a desktop computer? I had a friend tell me that laptops are a pain in the butt to work with...they're also more expensive. Let me know what you ppl think...I need to go to bed.

(BTW, in quickie movie reviews by Artemis: Troy and Shrek2 were both AWESOME! When I get around to it, I'll post more extensive reviews of each.)

Update on Farewell Mass and Awards....
Well, Mass started late, around 9:00 instead of 8:45...*shrugs* I went up w/ a 1st place award for Forensics, from a tournament I didn't even go to... (BTW, Willow, I compete in Info and Prose, but I'd like to get into DI or Duo.) I sat with the choir for Mass. It was kinda long, but not bad.
Then came the awards ceremony....we were in their 'til nearly noon....*cries*
I was already wearing NHS cords, but I got to add these...ahem...lovely red and gray ones for Forensics. They gave me a medal for being a "Monsignor Arthur Barth Scholar"...la dee freakin' da...I got recognized for being a National Merit Commended Scholar *rolls eyes* and for being in Liturgy Club (we set up for the week day Masses). I spent most of the time sitting there, being bored, while our principal mispronounced people's names and sauntered through the long list of awards. (Duorocks17 got cords for taking Health Academy! YAY DUO!!) We finally got to the last award, a $500 memorial scholarship in honor of my junior english teacher's deceased daughter. The award is supposed to be based, not on academics, but on overall human concern. I sat there thinking, "It's gonna be Kree!" (Kree's an awesome girl that everyone loves. She's always smiling and laughing and accepting of everyone.) Suddenly, they called my name instead of hers....talk about shocked...I still don't understand how or why I got it. (Except that the teacher liked me) It still hasn't sunken in yet.... I guess I'll have a computer at college next year....*shakes head* I keep thinking she picked the wrong person. I guess there isn't anything I can do about it.

Well, this is the last time I'll ever have to walk into my school. We have the Senior Farewell Mass today! I probably won't get home 'til around 11 this morning, but oh well. I get to carry up something for debate/forensics in the procession. I think there were some hardcore debaters who weren't too happy that I got chosen over them, but hey! I'm one awesome Forensics performer! lol After this morning, all I'll have left is graduation on Sunday.

   hello
My cousin recently suggested this anime site to me:
Free anime

Here's the first part of my post from late Sat. night that got left out some how...:
"So, I wake up this morning, and I get really mad at my body for waking me up so early b/c it's only 7:15! *cries* I come upstairs thinkin' "Well, I'll get on the computer." No...Paul's on the computer instead. (Paul's in kindergarten.) So, I decide I'll get on when he's done, but my mom wants me to go work at the swim club we belong to b/c we get a discount on our membership for that. So, I'm ready to go up there w/ my dad by 8:15. Unfortunately, dad wasn't ready 'til 9:45....*rolls eyes* We worked until 1:15 when lunch arrived...I never thought Subway could taste so good. We get home around 2:00, and Dad wants to be at River Fest by 4:00. (At this point, I want to sleep for several hours.) So, we make it up there at the appointed time (crazy for my family), and we set up our little area in front of Century II (a large circular building used for most public events) so that we'll be ready for the Twighlight Pops Concert that won't start 'til 8:30, yeah.
My eldest little bro, Andrew, runs off immediately w/ some little slut in a halter top. Andrew's only 14, and I'm not happy about this. He was supposed to call at some point, but we didn't hear from him again until around 11:00 when the fireworks were over. I think he should be grounded."

So...can someone tell me why all this got cut out? *shrugs* Oh well.

   Long Day....
My eldest little bro, Andrew, runs off immediately w/ some little slut in a halter top. Andrew's only 14, and I'm not happy about this. He was supposed to call at some point, but we didn't hear from him again until around 11:00 when the fireworks were over. I think he should be grounded.
Let's see, other griping, my sister and I had friends join our family on our little "spot" and a girl from our school (Mandy) shows up w/ her little bf. They lay back and cuddle the entire time they're w/ us. Remember, I have 9 younger brothers and sisters to see this (except that Andrew's still gone), and my parents aren't happy w/ this. We finally have to tell them to sit up, and they left shortly afterwards.
Overall, the day wasn't too bad. I walked around a bit and got to rest. The fireworks were pretty awesome. I had fun with ppl who weren't coupling up. (icky) Ann, Erin, and I went to Spangles after the fireworks and had some time to chat. As a whole the day was pretty good, but I think I'm going to drop if I don't go to bed in the next 5 minutes. Good night everyone!!

   River Fest!!
I'm going to River Fest tonight! Ruben Studdard's gonna be at the block party as well as Fifth Dimension. I couldn't care less about Ruben, but I'll be excited for 5th D! Tomorrow night we have the Twilight Pops Concert and the Fireworks...it's a family tradition to go. I'm psyched! The River Festival is the best part about Wichita!
Oh, Amy, my computer's not letting me click on your comment box. You're welcome to meet us at the block party. We'll have my mom's cell w/ us. hope to see ya there!
Oh, guess what! I broke 700 on the MyO rankings...I'm pathetic...

   two more weeks!
While school and everything else is driving me crazy, there's a light at the end of this dark tunnel called Monday...I only have 2 weeks of school left! My classes, for the most part, are winding down. Things should be pretty easy from here on out.
Okay, so I watched Harry Potter #1 on ABC last night (the network TV premier) and that had comments from Dan, Emma, and Rupert as well as a big preview for #3! Wow...they've grown a lot! The whole movie looks washed out...they all look really pale. It's kinda creepy and makes it look pretty different from 1 and 2. However, I think I'm going to like it a lot. I do have a problem w/ Tom Felton's hair (it is Tom Felton, isn't it?!?). It's not slicked back any more, and he looks like Eminem...gross... I also have to take back all my bashing on girls my age who're in love w/ Rupert...He's actually pretty cute now. He's grown up a lot, and so have the other two. I think they've made a huge hint as to how the romances will work out in the books (they're making them really apparent right now). My guess, is that Hermione and Ron end up together. Ginny will probably be with Harry (knowing what I know from books 4 and 5.)
Well, that's enough for now. I should probably read for Mr. Keiser's class....eeew...gross! Keiser! lol

   Finally!!!
Well, we're finally done with Eagle Esprit! *sighs* After three performances, I'm dead tired. I was really pleased Friday night because a lady came up to me with her two kids asking for my autograph. They thought I was one of the best people on stage. She thought I was going into professional stage acting. I was really surprised because I hadn't been onstage until this year (my senior year). What really flattered me was when her son started doing impersonations of me... Wow! It made me feel really special.
Yesterday, I wanted to go to River Fest w/ duorocks, but we decided to watch anime instead (go figure). I was way too tired to do much. Oh well, it's not over 'til next weekend. I'm looking forward to the fireworks!!!
that's all for now!
