Here are some interesting facts about Vampires:

~Vampires are mythological beings that have returned from death and must drink the blood of living creatures in order to survive.

~Usually, a vctim of a vampire becomes a vampire themselves.

~The word "vampire" is generally believed to have Slavic origins, but there have been many variations over the centuries.

~The word "vampire" first came into the english language during 1732, and was taken from the Romanian "vampyr".

~Media and folk-lore have shaped our understanding of the vampire over time, and while the vampire can differ greatly two aspects remain strong: vampires are immortal and they must drink the blood of the living to survive.

~Blood has become the universal food source for vampires, and this is probably because blood was believed to hold supernatural quilities as the giver and keeper of life.

~In Bram Stoker's novel, Dracula appeared old until he drank blood, and afterward he appeared younger.

   Yeah, a bit quiz crazy.
I know I've been a bit quiz-crazed. They're fun to take, like you said Alphonse13, when you're bored. And I've been a bit of that over the past few days.
Anyway, how has everyone's day gone so far? I got up, watched Angel and Buffy, did a ton of chores, and now here I am, eating breakfast in front of the computer (ah, bisquits and gravy with orange juice). I'm currently listening to the song "Too Much to Ask" by Avril Lavigne. It's one of her best, in my opinion. But it's hard to choose - I love all of her songs! Question: Has anyone ever been to an Avril concert? I went to one November of last year. She is SOOOO good live! She sounds just as good as her CDs. Even better, maybe, because she sounds more real. I was so sad when the concert ended - yes, I am obsessed with Avril. I'm dying to go to an Evanescence concert, but haven't yet. I read recently that Amy Lee (the band's lead singer, for those of you that may not know) is going to be singing the theme song for the Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe". That aughta be pretty cool.
I'm looking forward to "Underworld: Evolution", the sequal to "Underworld". I've seen the trailer on Yahoo movies, and it looks great! I'm always leery of sequals, though. Sometimes they're not as good as the original. But I'm hoping it will be as good or better!
