WoW Thoughts
I played a little World of Warcraft today and I can see how it can become addicting. As Massin put it, it's great as long as you don't have an addictive personality

Blizzard employees must feel conflicted...on the one hand they've created a game that millions of people love...on the other hand, they've no doubt ruined a lot of lives for people with addictive personalities in the process

You have to see the Korean movie The Host. I just rented it through Netflix. It's a really entertaining monster movie and has some unforgettable scenes. Imagine Jaws but with an Asian flavor...

Maybe we should create a theOtaku Movie Club where we rent a movie or short OAV's every month and then discuss. Who would join?

What we have on myOtaku and theOtaku isn't quite a friends system--it's more about keeping up with people you find that you're already interested in

Many social networks have reciprocal friending and invitation systems setup...is that something that would work here? Would you ever invite offline friends here to join an online otaku social circle?

In truth--I negotiated all three grand contests well over a month ago.

Version Vibrant will likely launch Thanksgiving, 2007. That is, approximately 87 days from today.
