   Walking by
They’re all walking by,
Some people stop,
Some people turn away so they don’t see all the sadness in your eyes.
But I stop and wonder…
How did you fall?
Or did you fall at all?
Maybe you where born like this,
Just a poor child.
Are you happy where you are?
Sleeping under the stars.
Is your hope the only thing that makes you warm?
Where do you go when it rains?
Where do you go to hide from the storm?
They give you just a bit of spare change,
But can that really help you since you have nowhere to go.
They‘re all walking by you,
Like you are invisible.
But I bet you would stop and look if it where me.
When have got nothing you live on the cold city streets.
I couldn’t live without my phone,
But you even don’t heave a home.
How did you fall?
Can I help you get up?
Or is it too late?
So are we happy where we are on are little lonely stars?
When it’s cold is your hope the only thing that keeps you warm?
Where do you go when it’s cold?
They’re all walking by,
Not looking,
They’re all walking by,
Not helping you.
And in time you become invisible,
Just a simple soul among the stars.
