Setou vs MySpace

"How many 'n''s are there in 'Funk'?" -Gaara of the Funk; Naruto: The Abridged Series Happy Presidents Day Otakuites, Legends and those inbetween. It's been an exausting time away from here, but here I am to post yet again, in the wee hours of the morning (1:05 am to be exact). School School has keept me busy in the past week or so considering I've been working on a research paper that doubles for English and Chemistry. "Well, how can that be," you ask? Well, for both classes we had to do a research paper so for those of us in both classes our teachers allowed us to do one paper for both. However it had to be on a science topic. The English paper would be in MLA format and the Chemistry one would be in APA. What sucks is that now that we've written it in MLA, it has to be transfered into APA which adds a cover page, an abstract, the outline, and changes the info in the header. Bah, humbug! Oh yes! I promised a banquet photo, so I shall deliver. You can't really see my dress under my coat but, meh. Oh, and that's my boyfriend next to me. He's a bit taller than me, but since I was wearing heels the difference doesn't show much. Amber's MySpace Rant: as told by Setou Setou: *warrior scream* I can't forking get freaking MySpace to fudging do what I frikin' want it to pucking do!!!! *takes out gun and shoots computer repeatedly* STUPID MYSPACE!! STUPID COMPUTER!! STUPID INTERNET!! STUPID PERSON WHO INVENTED INTERNET!! STUPID SERVER!! STUPID GUN THAT JUST RAN OUT OF BULLETS!! Why doesn't anything work for me! Stupid freezing Profile Editor!! Don't you know how to do anything right?! I HATE YOU ALL!! Presidents Day Fun Today my mom, her boyfriend, my sister, my boyfriend, and I are supposed to be going to Dave and Busters. I was originaly supposed to go to my boyfriend's house, but my mom suggested this instead. Little Sis feels a little sad about the outing because she doesn't have a friend to take along. Instead, she threated Mr. Boyfriend saying that if he even reached for my hand she was going to kill him and she would watch our every move. She doesn't really like or approve of Mr. Boyfriend, but that's okay because Mr. Boyfriend doesn't really like her either and I don't care if she approves or not. He's my boyfriend not hers. So she just needs to stop bugging him by texting when she gets bored. And she needs to stop telling me how much she disaproves of him and what she doesn't like about him and how she buggs him. It's so freaking ANNOYING!! Just shut up and leave us alone!! Setou: *drags Amber to a bed* I think it's your bed time. Amber: SLEEP IS FOR THE WEAK!! I'm fine! o_e Setou: *tightly tucking Amber in* Say good night Amber. Amber: NEVE- Setou: You guys can stop reading now.

   Happy MILK Day!

"How many 'n''s are there in 'Funk'?" -Gaara of the Funk; Naruto: The Abridged Series Happy Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Although his birthday was technically last Thursday or Friday, we celebrate it on this, our beloved Monday, in order to give government workers, like my grandfather, and students, like myself, a three day weekend. God Bless the three day weekends! "Who are you?" So, I have glasses now. It's pretty funny because when I wear them my family doesn't recognize me. They're like those silly little superhero "masks" that only cover the eyes that supposedly hide the hero's true identity. Although it's blatantly obvious to normal people outside the cartoon, they seem to throw off everyone else within the show. So, yeah. I'm a superhero now. When mild mannered Amber puts on her glasses she becomes...Glamber! *insert Batman theme song* She can leap to the manga section of Borders in a single bound, read all the manga in the library, and eat a whole box of pocky ALL BEFORE BEDTIME!! Setou: Yeah, that's enough. "...Interpersonal relationships: It's like friendship!" Amber: Setou, I have some news that may be a little unsettling...for you. Setou: Psha! Nothing can unsettle me. Amber: I have a boyfriend. Setou: It's not like-- You have a WHAT?! Amber: =///= Setou: How come I haven't heard about this?! This is very unsettling!! Amber: Told you so... Setou: I can't believe this! *starts to rant* Anywho, yes, it's true. This weekend is my school's Winter Banquet so we're going together which makes me very happy. Also, there'll probably be pictures. So if I get a hold of any of them I'll show you guys...if I feel like it. LOL! Setou: *still ranting* ...and the illigitimate child of...*rant's on* ^_^" Anyways, I hope you guys enjoy the rest of your week and have an enjoyable MLK day.

But she didn't. She left me. And now she's coming to pick us up as if nothing had happened. I cried worrying about her last night, but this morning I cried because she had left us. I already have abandonment issues so this helped none. I don't know what to do now...

"How many 'n''s are there in 'Funk'?" -Gaara of the Funk; Naruto: The Abridged Series After many weeks of me missing, I finnaly return the day before Christmas. I report to you live from the windy city! Anyways, so much has gone on since I last left that I'm too lazy to report it. However, as a Christmas gift to you, I shall show you the fruit of my labors in my Web Design class. Now, it's not entirely complete and has some errors, so bear with me. I give you *drum roll* my very own website!!! Yay! So this is one of the many things I have been working on since I've been gone. However, I did not have a chance to create a Christmas card for you guys. Sorry. Anyways, I hope you have a wonderful holiday season and enjoy being with your families.

"How many 'n''s are there in 'Funk'?" -Gaara of the Funk; Naruto: The Abridged Series Eh heh...hello again. Sorry I was gone for so long. School and lazyness got to me. I shall try harder to update more often through the school year. However, I will keep my current layout for a while. I like it. End of the Quarter So, today was the end of the first quarter of the school year. Hmm...I don't remember where I was going with that one... Anime Requiem Lately I've found myself talking to the kids on Anime Requiem (which is currently under construction). I have a pretty interesting time there each weekend with all the drama. Young people these days. *shakes head* Setou: Oh, like you're one to talk. Amber: *sharpens knife and mumbles* One day soon...one day soon... I've made some pretty interesting friends there and even had one girl calling me 'Mother.' So, yeah, some of them can be really sweet though most of them have anger issues. Still, I love them as if they were my own children. Birthdays Speaking of children, my birthday is next month and I can't wait! I shall be turning 17. Yay me! I know it's just one year closer to death, but it's still pretty exciting. Also, one of my best guy friends is turning 18 next month as well so I'm happy for him. While we're on the subject, my step-mom and one of my step-cousin's celebrated their birthdays this week. My step mother turned 40-something on Monday and my cousin turned 3 on Tuesday so we celebrated this past weekend. It was pretty fun. Have a wonderful weekend and upcoming week!

GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!! (Bwaa...T^T)

"How many 'n''s are there in 'Funk'?" -Gaara of the Funk; Naruto: The Abridged Series Too much... So much has been going on. I've had to write papers, do projects, and make a goodbye drawing for my friend. And I was sick, as you read last week. I've still got a little sniffles, but I'm pretty much over it now. "So long, farewell..." Twas a sad week last week, especially on Friday. My best friend in the whole wide world, ever since Kindergarden, is now away in boarding school in Indiana. It's awful now that I have to call if I want to talk to her, but it's not the same since I can't see her every day. For parting gifts I bought her the first volume of Bleach, gave her one of my teddy bears, gave her a pin with a frog on it(she likes frogs), and drew her a one paged comic of two of my newest original characters. And since I wanted it to be special, I colored it (which I normaly don't do) and I didn't scan it. So she has the original and only copy of it. I love her so much (as a friend, duh!) and it's horrible not having her around anymore to laugh and have sleepovers and have her borrow my manga. Now we have to plan several weeks ahead if we want to have a get together. Bwaa! It's so horrible! I feel like crying, but I can't because I'm not one to cry. I just have this terrible longing in my heart. Good news is she's coming back this weekend for Fall Festival, a yearly, well, festival that our school holds in the, you guessed it, fall. So, I'll be able to hang out with her while I'm not working at our class booth and she's not working out her relationship with her boyfriend who threatened to shoot her in the knee if she left. So hopefully this weekend goes well and we have tons of fun. Web Design Class I don't know if I've told you about this web design class that I'm taking at school, but, yes, yes I am. I'm learning some pretty cool stuff on the program we're using. Some codes I already new, like the image tag and the font tags like bold and italics, but I learned how to change the words up in the title bar of your web browser. I'm deffinately going to use that one on here, once I get around to it. So, one day you'll come to my site and I will have changed it so much and you'll be all like "Wow! This is a really cool site!" Hah...I am so vain. Oh how vain are you Amber? Site Visits I want to thank you all again for my massive site hits. I don't know how many of you saw the award pic I made, but I've reached the 900+ mark. I can't wait till I reach 1,000! Then twill be cause for celebration. I mean, for those of you who've been her since the beginning, look how far I've come in the design of my site. I used to be extatic if I posted a picture up or changed my site music, but look at me now. I've got button-links and a blog box and a background picture and everything. I've come a long way since my first simple post and crude e-cards. I'm so proud of myself and the people who helped me make it this far, even if some they don't have an Otaku account anymore. Anyways, I am thankful to all of you. Really, I truly am. Driving Heh, yeah, you read that right. I'm getting behind the wheel. Setou: Hail Mary full of grace! What has the world done to deserve such a fate? Amber: Methinks thou doth protest too much... My mother has committed to taking my sister and I out to some random empty parking lot in the wee hours of Sunday mornings to practice our driving. It's pretty cool although, since my moms car is a sports car and is ment for fast driving, I always have trouble when I first hit the gas. We always lurch forward and then jolt to a stop as I slam my foot on the breaks. I just need to remember to press lightly. Anyways, back to what I originally wanted to tell you guys. I almost hit a tree. See, what had happened was we were out in one of those parking lots that have a double entrance, you know just like three car lengths apart, so my mom had us pull out of one, drive down, and pull into the other. Well, I made my turn just a little too tight and jumped the curb. And headed towards a tree. In my moms new car. This, of course, had her almost in cardiac arrest so I had to get back onto the road and pull back in without damaging the car. Fortunately I didn't hit anything, but what they say about third times the charm is bupkiss. If you do it twice, you'll do it thrice. Fourth times the charm's what I say, because on my fourth try I exited and entered without any issues and mummy was very proud of me. "Next time on Dragon Ball Z..." Well, I'll try to get to some of you guy's sites tommorrow night. I know I haven't been to quite a few in a while and I'm sorry. Have a good weekend and week none the less. ^.^

It's been a while...

"How many 'n''s are there in 'Funk'?" -Gaara of the Funk; Naruto: The Abridged Series Sorry for the ubber long absence. It was the end of summer and school started and stuff. Yeah. It wasn't a pretty sight. Oh, yes, I'm now officially a Junior. One more year till college. Labor Day Happy Labor day to you all. I hope none of you have any grilling or pool related incidences. It would be sad to hear that any of you died. The Podcast To Never Be? Okay, so I did work on the podcast but now that school has started, I have no time concidering all the teachers are evil and give us hours homework every night. But that's besides the point. I don't know when I'll get it out to you, or if it will ever be completed. But, when I start up on it again, I'll be sure to inform you guys. Eating Contest I was thinking, in an eating contest who do you think would win: Goku or Chouji? Random Pic Thingie I made this off of a Bleach avatar I saw.    Friday the 13th

"How many 'n''s are there in 'Funk'?" -Gaara of the Funk; Naruto: The Abridged Series Hello all! I am back from being with my father but not for long and I'll explain why, next week. Yes, you must wait to hear about my adventures. ^.^ Anyways, on to this weeks topic. Uh...can't think of a title... Besides the whole "not having nipples" thing, has anyone else noticed how none of the guys in anime have leg hair? I mean come on! All the guys I know between the ages of teen and dead have hairy legs and it's considered weird if they don't by their peers. But what about the boys of anime? What happened to their body hair? Do they shave? Hmm...Hey, Setou? Setou: What? Amber: Do you shave, because last time I checked you didn't have any leg hair. Setou: =.= Why are you checking out my legs? I guess it's just another mysterie of life, or just another question for the fangirls to ponder. "That ant apple pie you're eatin'." Oh. My. Freakin'. Goodness. On the drive back from being with our father for the summer, we stopped at a gas station to fill up and to get snacks. Of course my sister and I went for the Little Debbie fruit pies that we love so very much and went back to the car and drove off with a full tank and snackage. It was a normal pit stop on the way home. However, it ended up being anything from normal. As we pulled out I opened up the little box they came in and took a bite out of my apple pie, chewed and swallowed, then looked down to take another bite. However, what I saw was not the apple pie. What I saw was a small black ant lying dead on the side. When I showed it to my mom we pulled over (luckily we hadn't gotten back to the highway yet) and checked our other pies. My second one was fine but one of my sisters pies also had an ant on it. That was simply disgusting so we drove back to the gas station and got our money back. Since it was only $1, it wasn't as satisfying as having my fruit pie, but my we weren't going to take our chances at buying any more since the place didn't look all that great anyways. And thus ends the tale of our great trip home. Fan Art Since I was with my father for a month I got the chance to work on some fan art of mine which I will be submitting in a few minutes here once I finnish this post. I did a short fan comic of Ouran High School Host Club, three drawings of Nekozawa from said anime, a picture of me wanting fruit pie, and a picture of me eating a fruit pie. Tell me which ones you like the best, kay? I don't have anything really planned to talk about next week so I might work on my podcast next week.
