"Welcome back, Mr. Anderson."
It’s been way too freakin’ long since my last post. My apologies. Expect many long posts from this date forward.

So, what’s been going on? Well, I’ve been in the state of Nevada for three months. Whoop-dee-doo. Let’s start with classes. First period I have English. I just love starting off the day with this class. Great students, Canadian teacher (Yay, Canadia!), and great class, even though it’s more literature history than writing and grammar. I just wish I can do some creative writing assignments. Nonetheless, I get to read with funny accents and Henry, one of few companions, sits close by. I give it an A. Next we have CS. We’re learning Visual Basic. Yay, Microsoft Application programming. Bill Gates must have some division in Microsoft just for finding new ways to piss people off. Actually, that’d be a pretty cool job. But back on topic, my programming class is boring as all hell, but the feeling I get when I complete a program is enough to save it from failure. A D to it, ‘cause I expect more from a teacher who’s led nuclear weapon projects. Third period I’ve got Biology. Mrs. Sparks manages to make the class very entertaining, actually, challenging us by adding creative projects to our units and having an unorthodox assignment style. In this class is Ken, a rich yet absurdly comical Japanese fellow in a trench coat. He’s like Sean, minus the Jesus and adding a gallon of badass. He gets extra points for being the first person here to refer to me as an otaku. Biology gets a B for… biology. Damn I’m witty. After that I’ve got gym. Many of my classmates refer to Mr. Schaper as a gay cowboy. Personally, I like him, even if he does have a funny mustache. He’s actually very down to earth and quite inspiring. I hope I get him next year. Gym features many odd characters, like Ari, one of the coolest Jews I’ve ever met. Nowhere near Erin, though. I’m known here by a multitude of names, including but not limited to Stoner, Dumbass, and the Guy With Little to No Reaction Time Whatsoever. Gym gets a B too. Fifth period is guidance, so I just sit in the Spanglish IV classroom and do my Algebra II homework ‘cause I’m a procrastinating bastard. Jesus, Brian, and that other guy Brian talks to are the highlights of this period, but the whole class overflows with win. Even though they aren’t the best of Spanish speakers, the class is small and very close, like some crazy-ass dysfunctional family. Since I don’t have to do anything and Brian and Other Guy did the coconut scene from “Monty Python and the Holy Grail” in Spanish, I give guidance an A+++. Do they even give those out past 3rd grade? In Algebra II, my teacher is Bruce Campbell with a beer belly and no regret when he confuses the hell out of the preps. Automatic A+. Computer Fundamentals is a lot like Ms. Wilson’s Career Technology class from 6th grade. Easy A and my classmates are amusing, including Christina. Yes, I’m looking at you, Miss Scary Vampire-Loving Law Student. A C for Compy. Now for my final class… Study Skills! Okay, not much of a climax, but Mr. Thompson’s cool. Also, I have FRIENDS!!! OMGWTFBBQ! Zebulon’s On My Grandma! Yeah. Richard, Sam, Henry, Sonja, Christina, the works. Pretty much the only place where I feel part of something. Le woot! So yeah, it gets an S rank. I gave some pretty high rankings. That’s… odd. So yeah, school may be lonely, longing for Kellie and everyone else all the time, but I make the best of it. Now, on to recent events!

The other day in Biology, we were all supposed to stand in front of class and do skits and jokes as part of our unit assignments (the unit being cells and such, just so you know). However, 95% of my class wimped out, leaving only Eani, Daniela, two other girls, and me to stand before the class. What’s surprising is we are the most shy and least talkative people in the classroom. I might be able to blame this on how I went first. See, I never made a point to join a group for a skit, so I was a one-man acting troupe. I did a short skit of an incompetent nucleus controlling a skin cell. I got to use a mock British accent which everyone thought was totally awesome. Then the endoplasmic reticulum comes along, telling him how different organelles are going on strike and plotting to overpower the nucleus and become ruler of the cell, righting the nucleus’s wrongs. One of the most well received lines was this:
Nucleus: And what does the cytoplasm have to say about this?
ER: The cytoplasm does have anything to say. It never has anything to say. We SIT in the cytoplasm.
Nucleus: Well, that’s a bit harsh. Give it a raise!
What follows is the ER hitting, as the narrator put it, “the nucleus with a rather large tuna. The entire skit is filled with many good laughs that only needed basic knowledge of the cell to enjoy greatly. The entire class applauded greatly and Mrs. Sparks commented extremely well on my performance, even saying it was like watching something on the BBC. Now everyone’s telling me to go into theater. That was definitely a highlight of the past week. The self-esteem I got from that one feels really good. In other news, Danny has gotten me into doing a Matrix-based Flash animation, the first web-published film of the Nerdular Gahsplosion Troupe. I still need Calvin’s approval, but I have no doubt it’ll go through. The scene I’m parodying is the cubicle office scene from the beginning of the first film, when Neo has to sneak out of the software company building. Goodies and cameos will be aplenty, including references to every major NTG project (including but not limited to XP5672 and 2005). I can’t wait to pull this one through. I’ll put a lot of work into it and the first chapter of 2005ASO this weekend if all goes well. I think it’s ‘bout time I finish my ranting, for I am quite tired. 39 days ‘til Kellie comes!!! Lance out.

The above rantage is currently posted on Wandering Lance’s My Otaku, Sensuifu’s Livejournal, and Lance’s My Space. Posting of this material anywhere else is prohibited, but why in Kojima’s name would you want to steal a mindless rant from yours truly?

Hmmm...
I'm back at school! Yay! (never thought I'd ever say that in my lifetime) Uh... ugh, there's really nothing to rant about, but I'm in a ranting mood. Kellie, get a lot of rest. Gio, always be Gio. Daniel, don't let others bring you down. You have your own story, and it's what you make of it. Screw what others think and keep a smile on your face. *wonders what percentage of online journals are filled with angsty teenage rants* Have people forgotten the art of the happy rant? I'm going to do a jig, or draw, or something that keeps me from finishing my homework before Sunday. Lance out.

...
I truely believe this is my final day of sickness. My head's clearing and all, I can sort of breathe... yeah, I haven't a doubt today's the day. I just started my make up Geometry work, and I realize that I had already done half the assignments she gave me since they were assigned earlier, leaving me only assignments 17-19. I doubt that's all I have to do, though, seeing how the chapter review wasn't listed as a HW assignment, and they already took the test when I was gone... I probably will post even less often now, though, seeing how my brother's coming home from college tomorrow. Lazy bum, getting summer so early. I hope I can still go out with Kellie tomorrow or Sunday, though. Damn headache... *looks around* Yeah, I guess I better finish up the Geometry since I'm not in the mood to work this weekend. Lance out.

*coughs* *blows nose*
Damn my sickness! I've been out fr the past 3 days. >_< The first was miserable. There was only one way to describe how my head felt - "like a bowl of molten cookies & cream ice-cream pudding in a meat locker". But I've been getting progressively better, especially since Kellie got sick and came home early yesterday, giving me someone to talk to. Hope she gets better, or got better... sad though that Super Van broke down. ;_; Yup, that's about it. Watched Char's Counterattack and the Last Samurai. I had to choose the sad movies, didn't I? Hmmm... Kat's finally happy! Can't say the same about Danny-kun, though. >_< Lance out.
