not much to write today. in fact i haven't written in here in a while. i am going to have to do something about that. or whatever. but i am so happy abootu starting a "new" story. it is one takara sohma and i have been waiting to do . . .unfortunatly these characters are wanting to talk and well . . . we have now officially created the cutest couple in the entire world. LONG LIVE THE UNION OF JHARRETT DELACROIX AND BETH HOLLINGSWORTH!!!!

   bleh
my head hurts. and i am exhausted. my world seems as if i am in a fuzz. i . . . all i want to do is sleep. yes, sleep is good and me staying awake is evil. the purest evil. and you know what? i think the evil school systems got together and said how may we make the school day begin early enough that we can get diana to be exhausted quite often? how may we torture her? and sure enough, they found their way. getting me to the point of exhaustion and then driving me over it so that i am now getting sick. yippie-skippie.

Definitely one of the lesser known of mythical bests, the basilisk is described as having the head and legs of a rooster, the body of a serpent, and the wings of a bat (although there are wingless varieties). You were the blame of hundreds of thousands of deaths in the middle ages. Your breath and gaze is deadly. Hundreds of basilisk hunts were organized to get rid of you. The hunters would carry mirrors so that, if they encountered a basilisk, they would have it look in the mirror and destroy itself! Weasels were also reputed to be able to kill it, as they could resist it's deadly gaze. It was a potent symbol of death and in some cultures the embodiment of Death himself. In Christianity, the Basilisk was linked with Satan.
