Tokyo Godfathers
oh lord. i just finished one of the best anime movies in a long time. its by renound artist and writer Satoshi Kon. if you dont know him he did Paprika, Perfect Blue, Paranoia agent, mellenium actress.... it goes on
anyway i just finished his movie "Tokyo Godfathers". when i first heard the title i was thinking "like... 'The Godfather' only in tokyo?" but nay. tis about three homeless people stumbling across an abandoned baby and trying to get it back to its parents. Its histarical, sad, ironic... just... you have to see it. the whole thing can be found in japanese with english subs on youtube. Tokyo Godfathers isn't like most animes though. dont expect big eyed sexy people. these characters all have thier ugly features. just like real life. the Cast is Hana-san; a drag queen who is very dramatic and will insert Hiakus on a whim, Gin-san; the steriotypical drunk bearded bum, and Miyuki-chan; a teenage girl, slightly plump, who ran away from home and refuses to go back.
the characters a funny, the writing is cleaver, the animation is spectacular, and besides boobs, language and gender offenders its a good family movie XD.

just thought i'd share
I'm going as a Team Rocket Grunt for holloween so i went on amazon.com to get a pokeball for my costume (i used to have tons of the them but we sold them all in a garage sale years ago) and i couldn't help but offer to clean the dog yard (huge poopie mess) for this Dailga and Lapras dolls. THEY'RE SO CUTE



yes that is me btw. i have the goggles on to hide my secret identity and my blinds closed to keep you stalkers away!

PooooooKeeeeeMOOON!!!!
i've been having a wierd pokemon craze lately...
the fan comic...
playing the games....
and watching the old episodes!
i learned two things today
A: the japanese voices are ALWAYS better. ALWAYS....always...
B: They remade silver and gold versions!! i'm so exited cause i grew up on Qrystal verson.... that was my first gameboy game... technecly my first video game... EVER. Ah the memories...
the new versions will be like Daimond and Pearl graphics but same maps and story. same legendary pokemon to! but i think they're going to have extra islands or something... maybe the train will take you to other regions like in the old game ^_^! its coming out in Spring 2010

i cant wait!

Just back from a trip
I was just visiting my grand parents for the past 4 days. and i learned something. we can never stay for more then 3. cause my family always gets in little squables...
like last night my grandparents had set up the table as usuall. my uncle was coming so they'd put a rock hard stool at where i usually sat. i looked at it sadly and my mom said "you dont have to sit there, go ahead and move over to the real chair" as soon as my granma notices i'm not on the stool she starts to rant. "Me and my sister used to have to sleep on the floor when company came". she beat down on me hard. basicly calling me disrespectful and worthless. my dad almost got up and took me out to a resturaunt. but my mom shut her up and i got to eat with the family. i left as soon as possible though...

I updated my TheOtaku though. I added some art which i would appriciate it if people checked it out ^_^ thanks

Writing to get my mind off crap
ugh. bad things happened today. i dont want to talk about them though. i'm on here to get my mind off them and praying my parents dont tell me to do any chores cause i might snap and cuss them out...
i dont want that

anyway. i think i might actually draw today *shock shock* i need to vent this anger... i may post but you never know. i found out somehting good. 2 birds with one stone you might say; i had this really nice ink pen. the ones that you buy refills for. it did the most amazing line values imaginable. anyway i steped on the back. breaking the thing you hold onto. so i couldn't draw with it. i had to buy a new one. these are like $25 a pen. and $5 for 20 ink carterages. so i bought a new one. but i got the wrong size. so guess what. i found the old broken one. still had the tip and little body bit taht you take off to refil in tact. i tried to see if the back of my new one fit the old tip and it DID!!! so now i have two points. one is very good for line value, the other for thick lines and shading medium sized areas. i'm happy. it might inspire me to work on stuff w00t
