MyO TITLE PROMOTION (AND THE LITTLE ISSUE BEHIND IT)
Hey guys! Can you read what The Mask is postin'? (If you read my previous post, you'll know where I got this idea.)
Well this week sure was something for myOtaku members. You may have noticed yesterday that there were title promotions being held and the titles were Otakuites, Senior Otakus, and Otaku Legend. Now a little controversy broke out when veteran member SomeGuy was still an Otakuite, despite the fact that he submits quality articles and, as beyblader pointed out, was here since day 1. Aside from the SomeGuy, I also pointed out to Adam that another myOtaku member by the name of Kastom has submitted TWENTY-SIX (26) nice articles, yet was still an Otakuite. (The actual comment was rather confusing, but I guess everyone got what I was trying to say.)
Now today, it seems the little issue regarding this has finally been resolved. Changes were made in the system, and now good ol' SomeGuy has been promoted to the well-deserved title of "Otaku Legend" while Kastom is now a "Senior Otaku" (and is close at being a legend as well).
Now I wondered: "Why did I made the comment to support SomeGuy and Kastom?" Well, my answer was because I considered them as my "superiors". They're more talented than me when it comes to writing serious anime articles, and they have better knowledge than me when it comes to anime. (That kinda explains why most of my articles are humor articles.) As such, I've grown to have some respect for them.
If this was WWE, SomeGuy was like Ric Flair and Kastom was Chris Benoit. As for me, I guess I'm like Mankind/Mick Foley (but not Cactus Jack) or John Cena.
Aside from SomeGuy's and Kastom's promotion, I'm also glad that I got promoted to Senior Otaku just today. And as they say, "with great power comes great responsibility". Hehehe!
Okay, moving on. IF YOU'RE A FILIPINO, PLEASE READ THIS PARAGRAPH.
