   I PASSED THE BIG TESTS!!!
Hey guys! I'm a bit happy this week 'coz the results in my Periodical Tests (or, as I call the, the Big Tests) were passing scores! That means no re-tests for me and enough time to relax.

Anyway, I was able to watch HERO TV, a Filipino-dubbed anime cable channel, this week. It was okay, but I didn't like the fact that it repeated the same anime show about 3-5 times a day! Right now, it's off-air already since it was just doing a test broadcast.

Anyway, since I can't think of anything else to post, I'll just have to show you to this picture:
Free Image Hosting at www.ImageShack.us
This is the JS Prom Picture of our class last schoolyear. Try finding out where I am there. (Clue: I'm male and wearing a Mickey Mouse tie.)

While you're at it, try finding Blue Hawk, Number 5, alastor10515, Ezel, and ryosuke.

That's all for today. HAVE A NICE DAY!

EDIT: Guess what? My article on "Detective Conan" at the Tagalog version of Wikipedia is today's featured article on that site! I am so happy being the ORIGINAL writer of that article. If you want proof, visit http://tl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unang_Pahina. If you want to read the Detective Conan article, visit http://tl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Detective_Conan for the current version and for the original version.

WE WON! WE WON! WE...WON...THE JINGLE!
Hey there guys! I'm currently researching for my Physics project.

This week was great! MY CLASS WINS FIRST PLACE IN THE JINGLE CONTEST! Yippee!!! And what makes me even happier was the fact that I composed the jingle's lyrics. I guess all the headaches and sweat were worth it.

Aside from that, me and Ezel win 3rd place in the Slogan Making Contest. I win 1st place in the Essay Writing Contest for English. My classmate Cristy wins 1st place for Essay Writing Contest in Filipino, followed by Shaldon at 2nd place, and my brother and Alvin at 3rd place. Kristian wins the Longest String Bean Contest while Louis wins the Smallest Mango Contest. (By the way, the mango was smaller than the mouse that you're holding right now!)

Now for some ANIME NEWS:
1. RPN: This morning, RPN already started airing the anime Zoids: Fuzors. It is scheduled every Saturdays @ 10:00 am. This is latest anime of RPN 9 since the animes Sweet Tales of St. Tail(1998-1999) and Crayon Shin Chan(2003) aired on that channel.

Sorry to those who recently signed my guestbook. I'm still busy with next week's Big Test and all my crazy Projects!

That's all for today! HAVE A NICE DAY!

EDIT:
FLASH ANIME NEWS! ABS-CBN and Telesuccess Productions will be producing the FIRST and ONLY All Tagalog-Dubbed Anime Channel in Philippine Cable Industry: HERO TV! It is set to air on August 2005. To know more about the channel, plus the programs it has to offer, visit http://herotelevision.blogspot.com/.

IT'S SICK TO KNOW YOU'RE SICK! (Ha!)
Hey there guys! Yeah, I am kinda sick today. Yesterday, I suffered fever, an irritating throat, and cough. Right now, I don't have any fever anymore, but I still have the throat and cough problems. *Cough!*

Anyway, the first BIG TEST is next week. Right now, I'm getting a bit nervous on that test. Will I pass or will I fail? And if I fail, will our teachers give us a re-test? Oh boy.

And this week, we're gonna have our Cooking Contest and Jingle Contest in school. I'm not really that confident in winning the contests, especially the jingle. It makes me wonder if we will get the 2nd place in the contest like last year, or if we won't even make it in the top 3. Oh boy!

And then, there's those crazy projects. Oh boy!

Oh well, let's move on to our ANIME NEWS:
1. GMA: Fullmetal Alchemist will now be shown on Sundays at 10:00 AM, beginning July 24.
2. GMA: Slam Dunk is back on the air. Catch it on weekdays at 5:30 pm. (Note: The timeslot of Slam Dunk was the original timeslot of FMA.)
3. SONA: Philippine President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo will make her State of the Nation Address (SONA) tomorrow, July 25. That means afternoon anime schedules in local TV may be changed to give way to the live coverage of the President's SONA.

All I can say about the news is this: I'm so fricking upset that they changed FMA's timeslot because our local GMA network will show a variety show on FMA's timeslot instead. Grrr...

Oh well. That's all I can say. HAVE A NICE DAY!

HERE I AM, LOOKING AT THE BRIGHT SIDE OF LIFE!
Hey there! I'm currently listening to MP3s from Detective Conan. (Special thanks to DetectiveConan.com for making it possible.)

Anyway, I don't wanna discuss politics again today 'coz it's something that can give us headaches. Let's focus on the bright side of life this time.

Well, nothing much has happened today. So I'll just have to visit your sites and know what's going on in your life.

Since I don't have any ANIME NEWS for today, I'll just have to say HAVE A NICE DAY!

NOTHING MUCH...
Hey there! This week, my old classmate Diane came back from the USA and visited us in school. It was kinda nice to see an old friend once again after a couple of years.

Aside from that, Fullmetal Alchemist is finally on air here in the Philippines! (Weee!!!) And I even got a chance to watch it! (Yippeeeee!!!!) I have to agree with what you people have been saying all this time: IT WAS A GREAT SHOW!

There's something that I find a bit intriguing, though. Before FMA was aired here, I had this idea that Alphonse (inside the armor suit) would have a deep voice. But when it was aired, it had a voice similar to a young boy. Is that how the voices are in the US and Japan version? I'm just curious.

Anyway, since there's nothing else I can say, let's go directly to our ANIME NEWS:
1. ABS-CBN: Beyblade V-Force did not premiere last Monday because ABS-CBN changed its mind and look like they will air it next Monday, July 18.
2. GMA: The network decided to continue airing Nadja because it is not finished yet before they air Bush Baby.
3. ABS-CBN: Naruto returns to the 5:30 pm timeslot starting last Monday because the ABS-CBN show "Qpids" was eliminated from the afternoon line-up with the addition of a new latinovela "Little Amy".
4. STUDIO 23: New schedules for Crush Gear Turbo(MonTue @ 2-5 pm) and Final Fantasy Unlimited(MonTue @ 5:00-5:50 pm) now effective since last Monday because the Thursday slot was given to UAAP basketball coverage.
5. GMA: Fullmetal Alchemist premiered in Philippine TV last Wednesday, July 13, instead of Tuesday, July 12, as earlier reported. This is because of the political issues going on with the country. (Great! Politics again. Grrr....)
6. CARTOON NETWORK (PHILS.) - It has been verified. Medabots was NOT cancelled. It is still airing in the network. The Shaman King commercials last week may have been aired by mistake.

(Source: http://www.geocities.com/shun_ukiya2001/2005updates.html

Oh for the record, I'd like to say this:
YOU FILIPINO POLITICIANS BETTER BE THINKING ABOUT OUR COUNTRY RATHER THAN YOUR FREAKING POLITICAL DREAMS. THE PHILIPPINES IS ALREADY POOR! OTHER COUNTRIES ARE LAUGHING AT US! I DON'T EVEN TRUST YOU ANYMORE! YOU ARE NOW TRYING TO MAKE PHILIPPINES THE WORST COUNTRY TO LIVE IN!

Well, that's all for today. Sorry if you were a bit disturbed at my previous statements. I'm just so pissed off about what's happening here. Anyway, HAVE A NICE DAY!

   CRAZY POLITICS PLAGUES OUR LAND!
I just hate what's going on with our country today. There's this issue that our President cheated in the election, and a wiretapped conversation "proved" it. Now, opposition leaders and former allies of the President want her to resign.

I don't know where to side with in this case. I know what the President did was wrong. But if she'll resign, what will happen to us? I don't even trust the opposition after what happened years ago. Besides, I think the opposition also cheated in the elections. Oh politics...grrrrrr!!!!!!

Enough of politics. Anyway, I went in the toy section of Gaisano Country Mall. And guess what I found? RARE MODELS OF MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM, STREET FIGHTER, RUROUNI KENSHIN, AND FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST!

What was more interesting was that the Rurouni Kenshin models included characters from the OVA series like Enishi, Kenji, and a grown-up Yahiko.

I think the prices were PHP 199 for the Gundam models (small), PHP 449.75 for the Rurouni Kenshin and Street Fighter models (medium size), and P1475 for the FMA models (large size).

Anyway, here's today's ANIME NEWS:
1. CARTOON NETWORK (PHILS.) - SD Gundam Force premieres on July 12 at 7pm, replacing Zoids Fuzors.

2. CARTOON NETWORK (PHILS.) - It's not yet sure but Medabots seems to have been cancelled in the network and will be replaced by Shaman King. Tune in tomorrow to verify this.

3. ABS-CBN: The new series of Beyblade called Beyblade 2002 premieres on ABS-CBN starting monday, July 11, 2005, scheduled every weekday mornings @ 9:30 am replacing Spider-Man the animeted series.

4. GMA: Bush Baby(In ABS-CBN, it's title was Jackie) returns on Philippine TV but now it's on GMA starting monday, July 11, 2005, weekdays @ 8:30 am replacing Nadja.

5. GMA: Finally, after months of waiting, GMA will air the anime Fullmetal Alchemist . It will replace Flame of Recca starting Tuesday, July 12, 2005. Catch it on weekdays @ 5:30 pm, right after Shaman King. Starting Tuesday as well, GMA will air two animes for now, Shaman King and Fullmetal Alchemist. No news yet about the schedule of the return of Ghost Fighter yet. (Info from http://www.geocities.com/shun_ukiya2001/2005updates.html

6. NEW MAGAZINE: There's a new magazine in the Philippines. It's named, "Otakuzine". You can buy it at your local bookstores for PHP 85.00! Click here to view Otakuzine's official website!

And that's all for today! HAVE A NICE DAY!

THE RUROUNI KENSHIN OVAs MADE ME CRY!
Hey there guys! Like I said, I did watch the 2 OVAs (for others, 3) of Rurouni Kenshin. The first was "Rurouni Kenshin: Remembrance" and the second one was "Rurouni Kenshin: Reflection". (Thanks Number 5 for letting me borrow the VCDs of it!)

And just like I said in the subject, it made me cry! I mean it. The first OVA was very sad and brought tears in my eyes. But the second OVA was even more depressing. In the ending, I was crying a lot (and I mean A LOT!). How could I not cry after seeing Kenshin dying before Kaoru after beng struck by a disease? As a RK fan, it made me feel very sad. So sad that while I suddenly woke up in my sleep last night, I suddenly thought about the second OVA and Kenshin's death. Then I felt like crying once again.

I know I may sound silly about feeling about that to a fictitious story, but Rurouni Kenshin was one of my favorite anime series and Kenshin was one of my favorite characters. Seeing all of that happen was hard to accept.

*wipes tears*

4. STUDIO 23: Crush Gear Turbo will replace Samurai X starting July 4. Catch it on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays at 2-5 pm.
5. GMA: Full Metal Alchemist will replace Tenjou Tenge, beginning July 8. Aside from that, Ghost Fighter (a.k.a. Yu Yu Hakusho) will replace Flame of Recca, beginning July 13.

6. ABS-CBN: A new animation called Fairy Taler will air on July 4 at 9 am, replacing Shadow of Elves.

And that's all for today. HAVE A NICE DAY!

   RAINY DAYS ARE HERE AGAIN!
Hello there! Yeah, it's raining here in the Philippines. Quite weird to know that while students in other countries are in the beach enjoying enjoying a class-free summer vacation, I'm here facing the fact about classes in rainy days.

Despite all that, I still like rainy days because the weather's so cool! And since it's a rainy season here, I decided to change the site's MIDI theme to "It's Gonna Rain".

By the way, I just took off my chatbox in the site. The reason for that is because it's a bit useless to have it in my site and I don't update it frequently. Sorry if you didn't like my decision.

Anyway, here's some ANIME NEWS:
1. ANIMAX-ASIA: The Sunday Movie Blast will be tomorrow, June 26. And on 6pm, catch "Count of Monte Cristo".

That's all for today. HAVE A NICE DAY!

   I MADE A NEW ARTICLE!
Hey there everybody. Currently working on my assignment on some success stories. I'm planning to use Oprah Winfrey (the talk show host), Vince McMahon (the WWE owner), and Frederick Smith (the FedEX owner).

Anyway, nothing much happened this week in school. We did have a new classmate, though. And just when I thought he was in Switzerland, ryosuke came back to school! (It happened last week, though.) He even gave us some Swiss chocolates as presents. Thanks ryosuke!

On other stuff, did you remember the avatar I used months ago? The guy in a white suit that looks like Detective Conan? The guy that's currently in Chugoku-jinko's avatar? Yes, I'm talking about Kaito KID (a.k.a. Phantom Thief).

"What about Kaito KID?" you ask. Well, I've recently made an article about this gentleman thief. The article is entitled, "Knowing Kaito KID". Click here to read the article.

And here's today's ANIME NEWS:
1. CARTOON NETWORK (PHILS.): Medabots replaces Shaman King in Toonami.

That's all for today. HAVE A NICE DAY!

EDIT: Breaking News! Crush Gear Nitro is on Cartoon Network (Phils.). Catch it after Granzagers.
