Tainted Blood~
Saturday 16 July

Well, it's our first full day here, and it is now five to one. We've spent our first night here petrified and in hysterics. This is because we expected a face to appear in the window behind the curtains the whole time.
This whole thing started because of the window that evening. The window had been left open on the latch. Later, Vikki went back and found the window off the latch, hanging off. Vikki freaked, but I insisted it was the wind. I tested it to prove this and found that it could only have been hurricane force winds whilst we weren't looking to have moved it. Vikki was spooked. After this we watched a film and went to bed.
Once in the room, Vikki's bed is right next to the window, so she can see behind the gap of the curtains, and she said, "Oh, I keep expecting to see a face come to the window." I said, "Yeah, I keep expecting one to appear and stare through too, because we're on the ground floor." After this we began to get creeped.
I then commented on the window thing. We got creeped even more. Then, it got darker and the lights and shadows began moving behind the curtains. We got so freaked that Vikki was hiding under the covers trying to stay as far away from the window as possible, and I had to keep gettting up every ten minutes and opening the curtains to check nobody was there. Each time I expected a face to appear.
We then got on to talking about what we imagined the face to look like. Vikki imagined it to be like the murderer in the film we watched (a thriller) whilst I imagined someone completely different; pale, thin and bald with pale, blue eyes, a man in his early thirties. This creeped us even more. Then Vikki thought of it as a woman and said it to me, so I imagined it too and the images were even more crazed. We were completely freaked. We tried to get to sleep, but i still had to check the window - all the time. We finally settled down and I had stopped checking the window, when I said: "It's a good thing that the window isn't open or you'd be expecting a hand to reach through and grab your ankles." This started us off all over again, but we did finally get to sleep.
TODAY
So far today, nothing much has happened. We had fun jumping out of windows (we were checking the fire escapes, or so we told Vikki's nan)!
Last night, Vikki's nan thought that we were drunks outside because of the noise we were making, LMAO! Of to tennis now.
***
Played tennis. Went swimming. Burnt the popcorn and played a game or two.
Oh, and yesterday we saw wild rabbits!

Sunday 17 July

Vikki's nan's Birthday. She is 70. Some of her friends and their children came down to visit. We had some food, then went swimming with them. Went from 1.30 till 4.05. They are still there now, and it's quarter to five.
I fell asleep. Vik has sprained her wrist.

Monday 18 July

Well, this morning we finished the game of monopoly we had started last night and Zoe went water-skiing. I couldn't go because of my wrist. Anyway, Zoe was doing well on the beginner's bar but everytime she went to stand up on the back rope she sat back down and therefore fell over, all because the instructor hadn't told her to stand yet! Zoe said getting the wetsuit off was a nightmare because it sticks to you but the water was warm. After that, we had a drive round to find the sailing and windsurfing place and then came back to the lodge. We played go-fish and had a roast dinner (more-or-less). This evening, we went bowling at about 7.00pm, my nan won! We played bingo, didn’t win, then did the ‘family’ quiz. It was on alcoholic beverages; how it is that a family quiz? Anyway, Zoe and I try it with a little help from my nan and brother. We had to swap answer sheets with another table and, while we were marking, you hear tiny bursts of laughter from the table, which was marking our paper. Apart from our team name, Chocolate milk, we put crazy answers for most of the questions because we really didn’t have a clue. For example, question 2 was: What would you get if you asked for a Henry at the bar? So I wrote; a drink, but apparently it should have been orange and lemonade. Well, we did get 3/21. To find out who had won, the holiday rep called out the numbers. He said: we’ll start low, who got five or more? The whole room shouted ME! except me and Zoe. He then said, have we lost anyone yet? Obviously not expecting anyone to put their hand up, but me and Zoe stood up waved our arms and shouted, laughing our heads off. When he asked us how many we got and we said: 3, the whole room burst out laughing and gave us a round of applause, and the rep said he should give us a badge, but we never got it. Anyway, better go to bed now it’s 11.20pm and everyone else is asleep.

Tuesday 19 July

Zoe and James went on the Ringo rides today. Zoe went flying into the air within the first 30 seconds and ended up in the water! Then, they both stayed in for a while and eventually both went flying; James’ tipped and he went into the water, and Zoe’s ring landed on the water, she landed in it and bounced out again into the water for the second time! It was funny. All the way through all you could really see was four little legs bouncing around and then the occasional head!
When they got out, both where laughing and complaining, “my neck hurts!”

Wednesday 20 July

Zoe’s neck’s killing this morning; she can’t move it! Well not much happened today. James wanted to go sailing but the wind was to strong for a novice, so we came back and went in the pool, except Zoe.

Thursday 21 July

Zoe’s neck is much better today.
This evening we went on the triple x. It’s an inflateable ring, large enough for 3 people. Zoe, James and I went on it. We each sat in our separate hole and couldn’t stop laughing for the whole 10-minute ride! We didn’t fall out once! It was so fun, we’re going back tomorrow!

Friday 22 July

Well, it is a week today since we arrived and we have until Wednesday to cram in as much as possible. So, today, we went on the triple x … again!
The triple x seemed more fun this time, possibly because we fell out … twice! And a half-ish.
The first time, Zoe bumped into me, then I bumped into James and fell out (well I think he helped me!) then Zoe bumped into James and dragged him out with her. The half-ish time, we were bouncing so much that i came out of my seat and landed sat across James! The second time was a bit more serious and a lot more funny. We were being towed along, bouncing over the waves, when, just before we landed, another wave hit the side and it capsized completely! The way it tipped made me land on James (who got my knee in his hip and elbow in his ribs) and Zoe flew up into the air and landed on top of mein the water. I now have a bruise in the centre of my head, where zoe’s elbow made contact. I came to surface first, followed by James and then Zoe. Zoe surfaced, wiped the water away from her eyes and said, “ow, that hurt”. This made us all burst out laughing because that was exactly what we were all thinking, plus the capsizing was very funny. When the instructor came over, his face panic-striken, he was saying, “Are you OK? That wasn’t supposed to happen. That’s never happened before!” We were all in hysterics and asking if we could get back in, all he could say was, you want to get back in? Well, anyway, we didn’t. Zoe and James played Volley ball with little green kid.

Saturday 23 July

Jack came today – James’ friend. Then, we went paint-balling. Who thought it was a good idea to give Zoe a gun? Me and Zoe were the only girls there! There were 18 people altogether! The first game was 20 minutes and we had 2 lives. Zoe’s gun broke and I thought I was out, turns out I wasn’t. It was a capture the flag game. The second game was a fortress game. One team had to stay in the fortress with one life, while the other had to kill them, and had two lives. Me and Jack were out almost straight away. While we were stood in the saftey area, a man came in and said, ‘Someone shot me in the mouth, I think it was one of the girls’. It was Zoe. (zoe:lol ). Third game. The marshell was explaining what we had to do, when a moth flew by and landed on James’ sleeve. Zoe says (quite loudly) ‘moth’, and everyone slowly turned and looked at her, so she shrugs her shoulders and says ‘what?’. Anyway the moral of the story is … paint-balling is fun!
When we got back, we went up to the pool .
Zoe:She seems to have forgotten to mention that I got shot six times in the face, once by my own team. And in the last game the other team where taller than us!T^T nO fair!

Sunday 24 July

Went on the banana boat today. It was fun. We fell off a lot! James fell off on his own the first time. Zoe describes it as ‘he fell off like a hinge’. What happened was, we were bouncing over the waves and James fell forwards still in the same seated position. After that, we were going over the waves again and the whole banana capsized. Sometimes we stayed on, but more often than not, we fell off! They’ve all gone swimming now.

Monday 25 July

Today Vikki had her taster course in Water skiing and James went on a wakeboarding course. Vikki fell off the bar! Hahaha! And we watched James fall off loads of times. Jack kept saying ‘boo!’ from the café, and James fell over. It was funny. We laughed a lot when they came back. Then we went to the chalet and had hot chocolate and cake. Yum! Later, Vik and I were in the room when James’ head appeared in the window. We screamed. I mean, come on – that face is scary at the best of times, so when it comes looming up to the window it is a horrific sight.
I had sausage and mash potato! Then Jack said he wanted to go back and put some trousers on, and we all laughed!
Then he had a telephone convo which sounded like it was about his trousers.-
“I’m just going back to get my trousers”
“No they blew off”
“In the pool”
“aww…is Sam gutted? Is he crying?”

By this time, we were laughing hysterically.

You scored as Angel. Angel: Angels are the guardians of all things, from the smallest ant to the tallest tree. They give inspiration, love, hope, and positive emotion. They live among humans without being seen. They are the good in all things, and if you feel alone, don't fear. They are always watching. Often times they merely stand by, whispering into the ears of those who feel lost. They would love nothing more then to reveal themselves, but in today's society, this would bring havoc and many unneeded questions. Give thanks to all things beautiful, for you are an Angel.

   Terrorist attacks on London
There were terrorist attacks on London today. Tube stations and buses were hit. All in all, about seven bombs went off.
At least two people are confirmed dead, though it is believed there are more, and around a hundred and fifty injured. Many with missing limbs and with severe breaks in their bones. The injured are being carried to hospital on blankets by civilians, and on double decker buses.

Can everyone with msn do this-->London was attacked this morning due to terrorists. Put a star at the start of your name to show you care. PASS THIS AROUND YOUR MSN!

From BBC.co.uk:

Two people have been killed and scores have been injured after three blasts on the Underground network and another on a double-decker bus in London.
UK Prime Minister Tony Blair said it was "reasonably clear" there had been a series of terrorist attacks.

He said it was "particularly barbaric" that it was timed to coincide with the G8 summit. He is returning to London.

An Islamist website has posted a statement - purportedly from al-Qaeda - claiming it was behind the attacks.

Home Secretary Charles Clarke said blasts occurred between Aldgate East and Liverpool Street tube stations; between Russell Square and King's Cross tube stations; at Edgware Road tube station; and on bus at Tavistock Square.

The Queen said she was "deeply shocked" by the terrorist attacks and sent her sympathy to those affected.

London's police chief Sir Ian Blair said there had been "many casualties" but it was too early to put a figure to those killed or injured.

It's particularly barbaric that this has happened on a day when people are meeting to try to help the problems of poverty and Africa

Tony Blair

Blair statement in full

More than 182 casualties and one of the dead were taken to the Royal London Hospital in Whitechapel but that 123 people had since been released.

And St Mary's Hospital said it was dealing with 26 injured people, including four with critical injuries and eight in a serious condition.

Sir Ian urged people to stay where they were and not to call emergency services unless it was a life-threatening situation.

He reassured the public that an emergency plan was in place and the situation was "steadily coming under control".

London Mayor Ken Livingstone, speaking from Singapore before flying back to the UK, said Londoners would not be divided by a "cowardly attack."

He said it was an "indiscriminate" attempt at slaughter with no consideration for age or religion.

All London Underground services have been suspended indefinitely and bus services in central London (Zone One) have been halted.

Early reports had suggested a power surge could be to blame for explosions on the Underground but this was later discounted.

Describing the bus blast in Tavistock Square, eyewitness Belinda Seabrook said she saw an explosion rip through the bus.

"I was on the bus in front and heard an incredible bang, I turned round and half the double-decker bus was in the air," she said.

She said the bus was travelling from Euston to Russell Square and had been "packed" with people turned away from Tube stops.

There was immediately smoke everywhere and it was hot and everybody panicked. People started screaming and crying

Bus 'ripped apart' in explosion
Have you been affected?
Terror of stranded passengers

"It was a massive explosion and there were papers and half a bus flying through the air, I think it was the number 205," she said.

"There must be a lot of people dead as all the buses were packed, they had been turning people away from the Tube stops."

One caller to BBC Five said his friend had seen "the bus ripped open like a can of sardines and bodies everywhere".

Loyita Worley, who works for a City law firm, said she was on the underground train when an explosion took place in the next carriage, while it was in a tunnel.

The 49-year-old said: "All the lights went out and the train came to an immediate halt. There was smoke everywhere and everyone was coughing and choking, but remained calm. We couldn't open the doors."

Once the doors were opened they were taken along to Liverpool Street station.

She said the carriage where an explosion happened was "black on the inside" and she saw people who appeared to have their clothes blown off.

She saw bodies lying inside the carriage.
