Hola, como esta?

I have another site that's older than this one. I wanted a seperate site to just tell what I think of the world and the issues that occur in society today (kinda)...

Yeah, so you can enjoy or you can cast some of this stuff aside. I just want to do a little experiment is all...

Gay Marriage

In my English class today, we had to write a persuasive essay/speech related to the famous Patrick H.(???)'s speech. ("Give me Liberty, or Give Me Death.) We had to have a list of topics we could choose from to write about. I had Gang Violence, Racism (we have to be more specific if we choose that), Sterotypes, Usage of Terms/Words ("fags," color-related, etc.), and Gay Marriage. My teacher said that I was the first to bring up or have the topic of GAY MARRIAGE in their list, and said just to do that to keep uniqueness (and I like to be unique). When I compared my list to a less-than-a-friend-but-more-than-an-acquaintance friend of mine, she said, "Gay marriage? Are you for it or against it?"

I sort of like to be a rebel, but I do believe in gay marriage so I said, "I'm for it."
"What?! But 'God' didn't put people on this Earth..." blah blah blah. I forgot what she said, but it had to do something with God. When I said "God" was a "Hypocrite," she GASPed!
To call someone a "hypocrite" is not the same or similar as calling someone "stupid," or some other derogatory word. An example of being a hypocrite is this:

You don't really like the country in which you live in, but you wouldn't want to be anywhere else (I think some reasons are the Laws and whatnot).

Anywho, meh "friend" asked meh if I believed in God (since I called him a hypocrite I guess) and in a way I do believe, but the other 3/4 is something else. When she asked me that two people turned around. Another girl asked what we were talking about and I said "Gay marriage." She agreed with what I had to say about that part of Christianity. How can you suppossedly love all your children and make them who they are, yet anyone who is homosexual is sinful and should go to Hell? I'm not sure if any book thingy said something like that (gay=Hell), but if it does, that's how I feel (a lot of Christians say things like Gay marriage is bad, so that's why).

EVERYONE should have the right to marry. As one comedian said, if we marry than we should let the gay's feel miserable too (many marriages are bleh, and some aren't, which is good *smiley*).
The girl who asked if I believed in God said that God had made us to love, but not to that extent. I believe that any form of love is good, whether it be Heterosexual or Homosexual. There's really nothing wrong with that. There's a quote that I thought was funny and liked quite a bit:

"There's nothing wrong with going to bed with somebody of your own sex. People should be very free with sex--they should draw the line at goats." -Elton John

*Ish so true*

Sweet Munki~ I think this will help me with meh essay in some way. . .
