Happy New Year
Sorry for my absence lately, but as you can imagine being me and all, I've had quite a lot of things to deal with in this time. So my family came to visit for Christmas and they left early this morning, my dad tried to talk me and Josh into coming back to Illinois with them, but... I'm not doing that, I'm happy here.
My grandparents passed away back in December, and they left they're home in England to Vicious and their log cabin to me... holy crap... they left me a house! So... I got a lot to figure out, I have to fly out and deal with all that paper work. My grandmother's lawyer says since I'm 17, I'm old enough to inherit the cabin now instead of waiting till I'm 18.
And on top of that Josh and I are playing parents to my co-worker Nancy's two month old baby. We've been calling him Kitten (blame Josh, he started, not me). Nacny's really wants us to just adopt him, but being 17 I doubt I'll be able to, I'd have to look it up before I could say anything.
It appears I'll be missing quite a bit of school sinc I have to leave tomorrow to go deal with all that paper work regarding my grandparents' will and then Josh and I have to talk about what we're going to do about Kitten. I'm just glad my boss gave me time off so I could deal with all this, he's a really understanding guy which makes my life so much more easier. :)
Looks like Shasta has decided to try and eat Josh's shoes off his feet, so before I end up with a footless boyfriend, I gotta go.
