Quick post
Well, thanks to some drama at the library, everyone was pretty well evicted, so I just moved to the student union to type this before I have to go to class. About thirty minutes until class starts, but I have to be out of here a little early if I want to get my usual seat. So, anyway...
It's cold here, and it snowed a little this morning, but it didn't stick. Feels like it ought to snow some more though. I'm not praying for it to snow or not to. Gotta wonder how to put that a little easier... Ah well.
So, yeah, the drama at the library... I was lucky it didn't cut off a download I was working on (speaking of, I have to get my unit two notes for biology downloaded while I'm here. May as well...), and I dunno what happened, just that all of the sudden the damn alarms started blaring and we were all being told to get out. Whatever. I'll find out the details some other time.
Anyone seen 'Little Miss Sunshine' yet? That movie is so wrong on so many levels... but still funny. Ooh, I have to get the take home test on that from Oral communications too. See? Isn't this useful? Better than a planner, I would never look at that. But... yeah, we finished that movie today. So wrong but definitly worth a watch. And believe me, if I pay attention to live action American cinema for a change, you know it has something.
Okay, last thing and then I'm gone for the day. Thanks to the people who commented. I just got a chance to check them today, and it really makes me feel much better. Now the only thing I have to do is update on the situation. About lunchtime that day, I got another text from him, saying he should thank me because he only cared about P--- and L---, another old friend. Well, mom, being sick of the text battle, took my phone, and texted him back saying "if that's the case, then why don't you leave her alone?" and signed her name. Took her five minutes to type two lines of text, but that's not the issue. Five minutes later, he texts her back saying "who is this? If you tell me who you are, I'll delete her number from my phone and never contact her again". Well, I don't see what it matters, but mom had me text back "this is her mom". I mean, really! What business of his is it who is telling him to leave me alone? It really shouldn't matter, he should just let me be, anyway! Plus, my old neighbor (next door from the house I moved from, I mean), well, her nephew manages the Hastings in my town, so if he kept harassing us, we could go to them and explain the situation. Mom actually said if he kept torturing me she would. So now I'm free of one ex-aniki, and I only have to warn Noura about what's going on. I have to call her soon anyway to see if she's going to go to the convention with me.
So, that's all I know right now, besides the fact that it's Friday and I'm ready for the weekend! Ja ne, minna-san! Have a lovely weekend (yanno, just in case I don't get online this weekend)! Solaris out!
