Way to long I've tried to be
What I could never be
For too long you've rolled the dice
But you can't control me
Superheroes- Edguy

Annnnnyvay… I managed to finish my last formal paper for the semester and I survived my last day of classes for the year. It was apparently very hard as Im feeling the need to comment on it.
In some ways I like how college is different than high school. If I choose to avoid class for a week, the teachers tend to not mind besides the few teachers Im on BS terms with. Those teachers tend to have some interest in how your life is going… and that’s ok… if I missed a week of school I would kind of be sad if none of the teachers cared. ANYWAY… In college… You’re responsible for your own performance and that is kind of nice as oppose to the teachers attempting to save every lost little lamb that doesn’t want to graduate. In other ways… college bugs me… My two last classes went till the very last minutes with information. In communications we did a small group review exercise. My group kindly nominated me to do the talking. Im slowly getting better at speaking in front of groups…

It drives me crazy when teachers force you to do class presentations. Not because I don’t like the work. I can suck up my distaste for being forced to speak in front of people. I can usually even make it entertaining for my poor poor colleagues. It’s the other people who aren’t very good at presenting that kind of ruin the experience. And perhaps Im being a bit judgemental… But presenting is something everyone has to do at some point in their life. It doesn’t hurt a person to learn to present with out the help of power-point slides. It drives me up the wall when a person simply makes a power-point, EVEN when the power point is AMAZING, and then spends the whole time reading off the slides. I just feel that in a second or third year class, everyone should be able to present with some skill. Even if that skill is just not reading the power point slides. /Rant

Anyway…. It makes me think I should be pro-active and try to help other people with their presenting problems and start a group or class or something… Then I remember that I’m far to lazy to find out all the steps to forming a group like that and I stew in my own small annoyances.

I was going to rant about something else but I suppose I got side tracked. I started making wall-papers again. In the break I took from the site, I didn’t really do a lot of photoshop stuff… but I have learned the joy of brushes… and I think my most recent wallies are pretty impressive compared to some of my older work… That being said, sometimes I don’t understand what passes for a good wallie these days…

What do you look for in a background for your computer? Color? Art? Character? Simplicity? Complexity?

P.S. Would anyone care to explain the concept of "Worlds" to me? Im at a loss as to what they are or how they work...
