I shall tell you something you would only get to hear if you were an advanced algebra, adv. geometry, or calculus student of Mr. Franklin at CCHS. Trust me when I say this is an honor. *kidding*

The year... was 1996. The month: January. The Caden twins, one boy and one girl, were fighting. Mr. Franklin had bathroom duty, and would return to the class of sixteen students to find that the twins had started a war. Everyone in the class took sides based on gender. On one occasion he returned to see the female Caden slap her brother across his face and leave a red welt.

The tension reached a breaking point when another boy, Gweedo, gave all the other boys colored pencils to do their math work. Every day, they boys would sit there, doing their work in colored pencil, and the girls would complain about how it was unfair. And obviously, it wasn't like the girls could just go out and buy their own colored pencils.

One day, the boys placed their colored pencils behind their ear, driving the females into a rage. The girls called them the CPM: Colored Pencil Mafia.

The next day, Gweedo gave everyone a nickname. He gave Mr. Franklin a colored pencil, and said, "Solidarity."

Because Mr. Franklin was now part of the CPM, Gweedo wanted to give him a nickname too. The moniker given... was Frankdogg.

Because it sounded more hip hop than mafia, he would only allow them to call him Frankdogg if the "dog" part was spelled with two g's. And that is the story of Frankdogg.

Every time I post here I'm emo!
I started crying during mock trial. I hate crying in public.

My mom does not have cancer, which is fantastic.

On the other hand, my father has managed to ruin this news by... maybe I'll post later.

   NYLC Blues
I've been nominated to attend the National Youth Leaders Conference in Washington, D.C. Unfortunately, because money and education opportunities are so closely tied, I doubt I'll be able to go. Tuition is $2300, and that is not including transportation to and from D.C. or lunches or souvenirs/phone calls.

"Whiiiiiiiiiite Chicke-e-ens!"
My (substitute for several weeks) English teacher has a really thick Southern accent. Her name is, no joke, Mrs. South. i had to eplain what an allusion was to her a while back. Today she said "got ate."

I miss Mr. Walker (my REAL English teacher, who is godlike in his grammar skills, and more awesome than Chuck Norris).

Guhhh....
Got The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. Must return to playing. 'Tis pretty and fun and tight in the controls and excellent and... and... and it's Zelda.

You know, I love a virtual boy who has pointy ears and a pretty horse (and a cute green hat).
