it's the Naia Hour! :D i submitted one page of Indigo Sea, and two pages of Lethal Kamikaze Cyborg Aya. i never said i'd abandon aya just because of indigo sea, my duckies. XD in fact, drawing indigo sea makes me want to draw aya even more, because it's so angsty i need to let out some humorous steam right after i'm through with it. plus aya is easier to draw.. no inking or backgrounds or anythin' aanyway, i'm pretty proud of the new aya pages. not the indigo one. but that doesn't mean you shouldn't look :D

12:05 am well, since my last post i've put up two new pages of Indigo Sea. i'm glad people seem to like it so far :) i'm hoping to start/perhaps finish another page tonight. ->edit: yes, i did finish another page.. here with news! i have A new manga. please, please, please look at it and comment. it won't take very long since i've only got the first page up. i'll love you forever. (and gabe has to look at it too, even though he's already got the aforementioned) XD sooo, yesterday my parents and i went on an all-day sail.. i didn't get sick, unusually enough, but my mom got majorly seasick and made the rest of us miserable and incidentally i just half-slept through most of it till i got a call from gabe. ..at that time i was half-asleep and thus not in the best of balance, so when it rang i grabbed the phone and jumped up to go answer it at the bow, so quickly that i overbalanced and almost fell overboard XD luckily, there was a helpful lifeline nearby, so i saved me and my phone from watery unpleasantness. and answered the phone too! :D bow to my sailor skillz. anyway, after all that i was glad to come home and get a shower, being on the boat for too long makes me feel coated in a fine layer of ick. um... questions.. which i don't do, but today i do, just because :P 1. ever been sailing? 2. if so, how many times did you get hit in the head with the jib? (me= probably 19) XD 3. did you read my manga or are you GOING to read my manga??? >:| have a splendid day, my ducklings!

like my new song? :P M.I.A. is a bit strange but i've decided i like her. kind of a mix of a bunch of different genres of music. so there was a bit of interest in the chinese lucky cat i mentioned, and a bit of inquiry into what the heck one is anyway. where you've probably seen it is in a chinese restaurant, they're the chubby little smiling cat statues with one paw in the air. lucky cats. they're adorable as hell and i love them, so i painted one in my little... converted book... thing so here's a picture of the book (i refer to it as the emo book, i made it a few years ago in eighth grade and it contains many emo things) i still haven't finished this book, but i plan to... someday. since i got out of the art class i was doing it in, i've done at home: two pages. XP well, it's something, at least. and don't make fun of me for the melodramatic thing on the cover, it's from some anime song. and yes, i mutilated a butterfly, but it is a FAKE butterfly. real butterflies, i save from my cats-_-' aaand here's the lucky cat: i think it turned out pretty cute. and hey! i appreciate the votes on my last pic but is it too much to ask for comments? :( i like feedback, even if it's negative or somewhat useless. Cottoncandy Hosted By theOtaku.com. well today i helped someone from church paint some life-sized skeletons of various themes for day of the dead. we did two each... i did a skeleton-mermaid (complete with dead-fish tail XD) and a skeleton surfer dude... his surfboard says "DUDE!" on it. i like how they turned out, quite a lot. i'll acquire some pictures of them sometime and post them up. then while i waited for my mom to pick me up, i started sketching, then before i knew it i was all into it smearing the chalk around too so... that up there at the top came out. i kinda like it, it's different from what i usually do.

so i have... stuff to like.. say and well...... miscellaneous ..:D doncha love me. i'm so eloquent. just got back from work so my brain is fried and i can't walk anymore. well, i guess i posted about getting a cell phone a while ago. now gabe has a cell phone too and we can like... call each other it's brilliant :) it'll be really really nice soon when he has to take those classes and we won't be able to talk on IMing nearly as much as we do now. and next summer he's going to come stay at my house i'm so freaking excited about that it's way better than our original plan in many ways XD so umm.. in other news the pirate camp is over, thank the lord i suffered a bit of a heat-stroke type thing after today so when i went to work for the first forty minutes or so everyone was going "oh my god what's wrong are you going to die O.o" XD yeah, i looked like shit i guess. ummm so.. yeah.. i haven't eaten anything for eleven and a half hours i seem to do this quite a lot, it's probably not healthy. but ohh well. i knew the risks when i took the job: "not healthy" is a part of being me XD and now i'm rambling in a most unusually boring fashion. i apologize. i tried to upload a page of aya yesterday but the fanmanga submitty thingy is all screwy and shit so yeah it'll be up sometime.. whenever it's all fixified alright, goodnight peoplez

Alright, my post yesterday was not altogether a "popular" one, comments-wise, so i assume not many people saw it. therefore, i am putting up a link to the aforementioned pages, and for those of you who have already seen that, there's a new page that i just put up minutes ago. click it. trust me,You don't want to miss these. CLICK IT, YOU FOOL. *cough* so anyway. the pirate camp was nothing special, mostly they made pirate-themed crafts and made thinly veiled excuses to eat a lot of candy. i like pirates. but i hate cliched pirates. guess what kind of pirates you find at a pirate camp for little kids? guess. aanway.. evertime they stated some "fact" about pirates i felt like countering it with reality, such as "but when a pirate got marooned they gave him a pistol with a shot or two in it.. so he could probably survive O.o" me: "*thinking* yeahh, whaddaya think that pistol was for, catching fish...?" "yup, that was probably the worst punishment that could happen to ya!" me: "*thinking* yeah? what about being keel-hauled within an inch of your life, huh?" but i held back. delicate young minds, ya know. XD except one of them who watches R-rated movies (age: 7 years) maybe one of those days i'll be all smart and tell them that "jolly roger" comes from "jolie rouge" makes so much sense. XD ..maybe not really, though. i'd love to hear how that evolved. the whole idea of french pirates is just so COOL. XD ohhh wellz. i'm tired, and i have a headache, and i sound like a pirate fangirl. maybe i should change out of my jack sparrow shirt before i really annoy everyone. XD that's it then. ...why are you still sitting there? shoo!

Aya. two new pages. 'nough said. well, tomorrow morning i have to go help out at that pirate day camp for community service (forced by my school) shouldn't be too bad, i mean, with me being such an EXCELLENT pirate and all... it's every morning through friday, so my week is all tied up; my weekend too, because they're making me work friday night and saturday night-_- i left a note that i will NOT be working on sunday night, so she BETTER not put me on the schedule. naia out!

welll, today i went shopping for.. *twitch* ...school... ..... .....supplies...... a new computer chair as well, my one before was just a straightbacked wooden chair that wreaked havoc on my back.. and clothes. i got cargos and emo pants and a few really neat japanese-y shirts :D usually clothes shopping does not thrill me but it was alright today. i dunno if i've ever been in an Old Navy store before this. don't laugh at me. i'm happy with today though. had some fun and got back home in time to talk to gabe :D took nearly two hours to get over there to the nearest outpost of civilization though, i guess everyone was going home from vacation. found when i got home that the girl who said she wanted to take my shift tonight doesn't think she can anymore and could i please come in to work after all. (i didn't hear it though! :P) by the time i got home i was already an hour too late to start work anyway, so i'm sure they've got someone else. i'm gonna take a picture of that "lucky cat" i mentioned that i painted.. when i feel like it. maybe next post :P have a nice rest of the day.
