Good news to all those California gamers out there, and I know there are many. Another "Dear Friend's - Music from Final Fantasy" concert has been announced to take place at the Nob Hill's Masonic Auditorium in San Francisco on Monday, March 7th. The Grammy award winning Arnie Roth, who will be conducting the concert in Illinois, will also appear in San Francisco to conduct the Bay Area's Symphony Silicon Valley. Of course the famous Nobuo Uematsu will be there as well. Those who purchase VIP tickets are priviledged to be able to meet and greet the great composer after the concert. ~Final Fantasy Crises Core~
Three has become four as Square Enix have announced yet another title to join the "Compilation of Final Fantasy VII". The latest title is Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII and will feature on the PSP. Little has been revealed about what we can expect in this game, however Square Enix have described it as an action RPG. Still, we have a long time to wait - the game is due for release in Japan in early 2006.

The games director will be Hajime Tahata, and production is notably being overseen by the director fo the original Final Fantasy VII, Yoshinori Kitase. This won't be the first time these two work in similar roles together - they were both involved in Final Fantasy VII: Before Crisis. Tetsuya Nomura will lead the way in character design.

~Final Fantasy VII Before Crisis~
Few details about the storyline have been released by Square-Enix thus far. It has been confirmed that the game will be considered a prequel to the original Final Fantasy VII game. Before Crisis takes place six years before the events of Final Fantasy VII and it is believed that the storyline will revolve heavily around the Turks and their rise to power.

~Final Fantasy VII Advent Children~
Advent Children is a continuation of the Final Fantasy 7 story. This takes place two years after the events of the final battle. The movie will be done in all CG and will feature a few new characters. Cloud seems to be the only known "alive" person from the original, Sephiroth scene looks like a flashback. It is not known if the parts of the trailer will actually be featured in the movie. So far, all we know for a release date is probably the summer of 2004 in Japan. Other than that, who knows what great things can come out of this.

Clasping a gem to his heart.
Engraving vanishing memories into the sword,
He places finely honed skills into the stone.

The strong military kingdom known as the Arcadia Empire
That rules the Valentia Continent,
And the Rosalia Empire that rules the Ordalia Continent
Have been continuously at war for long years.

In the midst of it, Arcadia Empire invaded the small kingdom of Dalmasca,
Positioned in the hallway between the two continents and thus is geopolitically important.

Under the invasion of the Arcadia Empire, the Dalmasca Kingdom accepted defeat.
But Ashe, the rightful heir to the trone of Dalmasca,
Joined the resistance army movements to fight against the empire.

The enemy's chase and attack of this girl with the liberation of her mother nation in heart is severe,
But, she can not be defeated.
At this moment, she meets the young man Vaan.
With this meeting, begins the change in Ashe's heart.

And thus...

The meeting of these two people will greatly change the story of this world.
