   Some life...

I haven't posted on here in over a year. I thought myO was gone..

Obviously a lot has happened in a year but that would take way to much time to type. I did test for 2nd Dan in Taekwondo yesterday though, which was one of my goals I had listed on here, heh. Hopefully I'll achieve 3rd some day.

Life in the last 7 months.

Wow, geez, its been months.

So yeah Japan was basically awesome. I took over 500 photos, plus a few videos, and met some awesome people. I'll have to elaborate on my trip another time, I don't have the energy, lol! I want to go back badly though.

However, also since then, I tested for my black belt in August. Recieved the belt September 25th. Since then I've been helping out alot with the colored belts, and learning new stuff. I actually had my first pre-test yesterday.

At my school once you get your black belt you have a pre-test every four months, which you learn a new form(or Kata which its called in some martial arts). I think their are six pre-tests you have to take before you go for Second Dan. During these tests you go over things you've already learned, which you better remember, plus the new form, and various advanced kicks. You must also break two boards with two seperate kicks.

At my black belt test I did a Notabomb(double jump back swing kick), and a double jump swing kick. Yesterday I did a Notabomb and a step in spin heel kick.

Anyway, its absolutely freezing here. I think it was somewhere between 3 and 5(F) degrees last night. The wind chill was -17....I want spring.

That is all for now.

   Japan update.

The time is getting near...I have ten days untill I leave.

I thought I was going to have to quit my job, but I finally told them I was going and my boss tells me I still have a weeks vacation to use, and the other week I can make up or not, whatever I want. He says they love me and I'm a good employee, I feel so special. Lol. So thankfully I won't be totally broke when I get back. O_O

I have almost everything covered for my trip. I still need a nother piece of luggage but theres a couple at church who said they would let me borrow whatever I want when we go over for their daughter's gratuation party.

Sarina came with me to the bank on thursday to get my money. I took $1500 out. Then we went over to AAA to get it converted into Yen. Of course its suppose to take a few days usually. They called me friday monring and said it was in and that I could pick it up whenever they're open. Woot.

I still need to get a credit card before I leave too, for emergencies. I've been reminding my dad constantly, because I don't know what the deals are and whatnot, I've never done this before. But of course he's draggin his feet. XD

I'm kind of looking forward to the flight. I haven't been on a plane since I was 12, when my brother and I went back to visit AZ. Good memories. That was only a six hour flight too. This is double, so that sould be interesting. I'm sure I won't exactly be enjoying it when I'm on it, but for now it sounds like so much fun, lol!

Maybe I'll give them some of my artwork and they'll want me to stay?? Or not, heh.

I'd love to visit Japan again after this trip, plus I also want to go to Israel too. My church might be arranging a trip there sometime and I want to go so bad, as long as I can get the money saved up again. I want to go to Egypt really bad too, but suprisingly its actually more dangerous for us to go to Egypt than Israel right now. I want to go back to AZ and visit again sometime too before I lose touch with my old friend's again...growing up sucks sometimes.

Side note. Went to see Pirates 3 with Sarina last saturday. Its such an awesome movie! Its totally worth sitting for three hours. I liked the first and the third movie. I didn't like the 2nd one much. Too much annoying Davy Jones in the second. Hes in the third, but not as much.
