DDR, Dress Code, and a Shinigami...

iPod tuned to: Breakdown! by BeForU(LONG LIVE DDR!) manga on the desk: D.Grey-man (Allen Walker~ <3...Hmm..I gotta make myself an Allen Walker color bar...) RABBIT RABBIT EVERYONE! (that means I stole your luck for the month! =^_^=....O_O Don't kill me!) NEW LAYOUT EVERYONE! ^_^ @Fuyumiko sama: Who sings the opening/ending of AIR? Uh...I believe her name is Lia. She has such a beautiful voice...^_^ Well, today was the day! They turned out to be 9th grade girls who made the DDR club before my friend Alex did. Alex and Kojima went to the club, and totally OWND the place! XD They were almost equal in level--until Alex's mat decided to move, and he was thrown off. T___T Alex ended up with a B, and Kojima got an A!! O_O The song they played was 'A' on Heavy level, FYI. My friend (the one that everyone thinks I'm going out with) and I tried after them...aaand...we failed. =__=; We both got E's! E'S!!! Gah...I've never done so badly... See what happens when you don't play DDR for...a whole week!!?? @_@ Well, other than that, nothing much happened. Except, I found out that the teachers in my school are having a little, "contest." Whichever teacher catches and writes up the most amount of students for a dress-code violation gets a FRIGGIN DINNER GIFT CERTIFICATE! I mean, what the crap!? So, now every teacher is roaming the hallways busting every student for every little thing! My friend got busted today for having a mid-drift of about 3mm!! AND she was wearing a jacket over it anyway! So yea, I was all paranoid today because 1. I was wearing a "regular t-shirt" 2. my hoodie jacket had "words" on it. So, I wore my jacket and got masking tape and covered the wording on my jacket. XDD It worked too!! Some teachers looked at me kinda funny, but it worked! I didn't get detention! WHOO-HOO! Here's my jacket--new n' improved! XD FYI, our dress codes is REALLY strict. You can't wear revealing shirts, you can't wear T-shirts at all, boys have to wear collared shirts, your shirts cannot have any slogans or words on it other than a company logo, and you can't have any ripped jeans. There's also the whole, no short skirts and you have to have shoes with backstraps...but that's a given...^^;; So yea...that's my day...XD Kinda exciting, I suppose. ^__^ Ren's anime/manga recomendation for today is... BLEACH! Okay, well I'm sure more of you know this anime. ^_^ Ichigo Kurosaki is a 15-year-old boy with the ability to see spirits, something that he considers more of a bother than a gift. One day he meets a Shinigami (Death God) named Rukia, who's on the run from a Hollow—a destructive spirit with unfinished business on Earth. As a last-minute measure, Rukia transfers her powers to Ichigo, whose abundant supply of spirit energy makes him a far more potent Shinigami than she ever was! Soon Ichigo is vanquishing Hollows left and right, and meeting other friends (Sado, Ishida and Inoue) at school with similar abilities. However, Rukia's transfer of power is forbidden by the Soul Society, and when their agents come to Earth to dish out the consequences, Ichigo finds that he might have to challenge the entire world of the dead to save her. Yet another school day....

iPod tuned to: Legacy by Nicole Nordeman (Aah, I love this song! ^_^) manga on the desk: Kamichama Karin vol. 1 (yes, still...) Yet another uneventful day... Except my friend Alex, was going to form a DDR club...turns out someone else made one before he got too. Ho man, were we all pissed. XD But as long as the officer of that club is responsible, I'll join...but if it turns out to be an idiot 7th grader...my friends are planning to egg their house or something. XD In other news, half the grade think my friend and I are going out...my friend finds it amusing...so we're going to keep it up for a bit...XD we're so cruel. In nation-wide news... Hurricane Katrina hit the Gulf coast the other day...I've been watching the news since morning, whenever I could. It's such a horrid scene. They're expecting 100+ dead...and with the fear of spreading deceses such as West Nile Virus, more people are still at stake... I can't really do much...but I will pray for all the people their, and their families, who are probably worried sick about them. Ren's anime/manga recomendation for today is... AIR! Yukito Kunisaki is on a journey, seeking a girl with wings who flies in the sky, as mentioned in a childhood tale. During this journey, he settles down in a small town, trying to make some money. There, he meets a strange girl named Misuzu. Misuzu quickly makes Yukito her friend and invites him to stay with her. Yukito decides to stay in the small town, and continue searching for the winged girl his mother had searched for in her life. A short seriesregarding Yukito and Misuzu...and their summer that would change their lives... A LOT ofdrama. Okay, I cried in every episode, save the first one...I admit I cry in practically every anime I watch, but I'm serious--this one is SAD. Genre: Drama/Romance Stars: 5/5 Related: AIR the movie. (Also very good--and also very sad.)

If that wasn't stressful enough, more characters are introduced, and a certain girl questions if her relationship with Rin will be nothing more than friendship. Genre: Comedy/Romance Stars: 3.5/5

Catch is; he's a vampire himself--a vampire that lives off of other vampires. I've only d/l the first 9 episodes and read the 1st volume, but I can say the genre for this anime is leaning toward: action/romance (with a little comedy courtesy of Abel-kun)

999 Visits!

THANKS EVERYONE! 999 VISITS! W00T! I just got back from the KAWAII CON! I went Saturday and Friday, and I'll probably go on Sunday too Anyway, FYI, that was my first anime con I ever attended! AND I HAVE PICTURES!! I hope these people don't mind that I'm posting these up... ---VERY IMAGE HEAVY---  Diarca from Wolf's Rain...I loved his costume...and his mask...wow.  Two of the con-goers playin DDR! L and Raito from Death Note!  soooo funny...L and Raito were wrestling! XD  IT'S DOMO-KUN! Duke from Yu-Gi-Oh...pretty awesome XD ENVY!! I was so happy I found an Envy cosplayer! ^^ Gothic Lolita! super awesome! xD  David loves his...I mean, my goat! XP  Naruto group! (Awesome cosplayers) FYI, the Naruto, Sakura, and Kakashi are from Hong Kong(?) Gundam XDD Haku  L'arc~en~Ciel's SMILE album! XDD  lmao!! It says, 'Too lazy to cosplay Shikamaru' XDD Y'know, cuz Shikamaru's lazy...so he's cosplaying him, but not cosplaying! ahahahaha! XD Workers @ Collector Maniacs dressed as Lee and Sakura. Vash says: Love and Peace! awesome FMA military outfit! Milly from Trigun~ I love that gun! XD Miroku from Inuyasha! He did a nice job on his staff-thingy...^^ Candice as Misao from Rurouni Kenshin! Really pretty..o_oSeshoumaru from Inuyasha...O_O amazing cosplay...the girl said it took 6 months to complete...o_o Sound Ninja...he even walked around the con like one! XD I loved his cosplay...looked exaclty like a sound ninja..o_o Squall...I wonder how much he'd sell that gun-blade-thing for? Pope passed away today. I may not have been Catholic (though I am a Christian) but it still saddens me. But, at the same time, I'm happy. He's not hurting anymore. He's at a better place. But still, please pray for the people. That they would keep faith and keep strong.
