A Sigh of Relief
Well, well. What do you know; it's the end of the semester. Yay! It doesn't feel like it though. Maybe it's because I have the exact same classes I had this semester next semester as well. Well, for whatever reason, it's over and done with and on Tuesday I can start off with a clean slate.
After school today we had a going away party for our exchange students, R and N (I'm using the initial for their first name for privacy reasons (something I learned while doing journalism)). N has to transfer schools because for some reason her host family doesn't want to drive her all the way to school every day (they live sort of far away). I don't see why they can't do it anymore. They've been doing it all semester and they live on the waterfront, for heaven's sake! It's not like they can't afford it. Oh well. And then R is returning home. It's very sad that she couldn't stay all year.
But in other things...My animation project is having a little trouble getting going. Originaly I was going to do it all by hand. But then I found out that there's 24 drawings in a second. If my animation is going to be 2 minutes, that's going to be something like 2880 drawings! Yeah, not going to work. I don't have that much free time. It was suggested that I do it in Flash or something. But I've never done a computer animation before. I need to talk to the animation advisor and school. I'm sure he could help me out.
