   Busy, bust, busy
...and that's what I've been ofr the past week or so. Busy meeting new people from some old friends, Terry and Kayla, who were with me in Guys and Dolls, and meeting new people by myself, like Ashley who plays the tinman in the rainbow cast, and juggling everything else in my life.

Vanessa didn't get the other tinman (like i said Ashley did.) She's a winkie. Grace got a call back as a yellow brick road dancer and droped the play right there for another play put on by another acting group (They're doing 'Little Princess' and Grace is either the cook or Ms. Murchen's sister, I can't remember which.)
Erin Carrol is also a winkie. She's a sevie at Sorrows and is in my homeroom. She's very nice, and i'm not sure if I mentioned it or not, but she got called back for Dorthy and the Tinman, too.
Alanna and her sister Maranda originally didn't get called back, but so many kids dropped out that now Maranda is a munchkin (of course, all kids first through fifth are munchkins) and Alanna is a monkey. She gets to dance to Thriller, which reminds me, I need to send a link to her (it's a movie clip for '13 Going On 30' where people dance to Thriller. It's very cool.)

My dance and song? It's a cute little number called "Slide Some Oil to Me," which has some parts that would be very good for a tap dancer. Well, both Ashley and her mom (who plays Auntie Em) fit that categorty, as well as Lisa, our director. Unfortunately, I took tap for a year when I was five, and that wasn't much, but hip hop is helping a little (maybe i can ask me instructor more about it when I go tonight?) Anyhoiw, they're trying to teach me, and i'm trying to learn. It's harder than it looks, but I'm getting it.

Let's see: step, hop, shuffle, ball change, quick weight change, step...
