I seek no silken Buddha
To free me from desire
Soon enough that flame will turn to ash.
My pleasure and my pain
Are the threads that weave my name,
In time we all work both ends of the lash.

And the river is the river
There to damn or to deliver
I care not that I cannot step in twice.
As Heraclitus knows
That's just the way it goes,
For those who see the fire in the ice.

And the Old Man with the pen,
Who has kindly writ us in,
Drew Christ and Satan from the selfsame quill.
He reminds me of that fellow,
Gave Iago to Othello.
I love Him not too wisely but too well.

And so I stand in awe,
At the perfection of the flaw,
And cherish light and dark without a strain.
It doesn't take a sage
To know that all the world's a stage.
I think, therefore I am…
...to entertain.

Peace

Free Final Fantasy MySpace Cursors at www.totallyfreecursors.com
I was pondering peace today and realized it is not the absence of violence, but the projection of violence in such a fashion that a$$holes are afraid to be themselves.

Peace on Earth
To men of goodwill
